Agents of the Judicial Police went to Menéndez Tolosa yesterday so that the teacher could provide a statement about what happened during the class. In addition, officials have requested disciplinary and academic documentation of the child in this school and the previous center in which he was enrolled.
This paper has learned that the teacher is accused of being the author of an alleged crime of abuse of workers, alleging also racist and xenophobic motives....

What nonsense! If this is accurately reported, the student and his family are just making trouble. There is no prohibition in Islam of mentioning pork or alcohol or other haram things. If there were, Islamic law could not be taught, nor could the Qur'an, which mentions such things.

I believe it. The more ridiculous and the more a story about Islamic supremacists seems like a parody, the more certain you can be that it's true. There is almost no way to be funnier than reporting the truth about Islamic supremacists, nor more tragic and ugly and inhuman.

The translation is without a fault, as far as I can see. However, the last paragraphs of the original text affirm the teacher's experience and spotless career.
This report seems trivial, yet it is not. The ideology that Palestine (panislamism's main weapon) embodies rebelliousness, poor people fighting against the "imperialists" etc. is prevalent in Spain. In Catalunya, home of the majority of known Islamist cells in Europe, almost everyone wears the "Palestinian" scarf - it's fashionable. Any news that allow a panislamist lie to come through (say, the "freedom flotilla") are greeted with screams like "Death to Israel!!!".
This example, together with countless others I've witnessed, show that this is no small matter.

Ludicrous. I attended a High school with a large number of Jewish students, quite a few of whom kept Kosher, and I am a vegetarian—none of us would have even considered lodging such a complaint. I remember one lesson in American history that mentioned the importance of corn and pork in pre-Civil War Southern agriculture. It was simply a fact.

Complaining to the teacher, at the time, by the student, wasn't enough. The family's complaining to school authorities wasn't enough. These Muslims lodged a complaint about the mention of ham *at the National Police station*.
Clearly, they think this is part of Dar-al-Islam, where any comments by dhimmis may well get the hapless offenders charged with "blasphemy", facing prison time, or murdered by those same offended Muslims.
Or they hope it will be, soon...
Only one more step and people will be convicted for merely thinking of it. Sounds crazy, but this would've been called insane ten years ago. It still is, ofcourse, but people have been softened up by constant islamisation over the years so this almost sounds par for the course.

If there are such people in a free society so squeamish, irrational and infantile as to react so viscerally to a symbol of something that they somehow learned to despise or fear, imagine the ferocity that such mentalities could muster living a life of unrestrained religious teaching, bolstered by broad community support and fear of religious authorities. It's easy to condemn the parents, but under pressures that we haven't experienced they never developed the capacity to empower their intellect. This is not to support their intrusion - Spain must resist them or adios Spain.
I don't see anything here about the local imam's opinion on the matter. That might make this all go away, or if not, then at least place the focus of the dispute where it matters.
Clearly, the Muslim family needs to take up some activity that would help them with anger management. Might I recommend yodelling?
