clearly show IDF commandos mauled and beaten by activists. The pictures also show commandos prostrate and bleeding on the floor, surrounded by the knife brandishing activists.

Lets pet on our critical thinking caps. The beaten commandos could have easily been murdered. And yet, they were not killed. Why did the activists hold back?

Was it perhaps some last minute mercy? Or maybe, eschewing murder was in fact the goal. Wasn't the whole purpose of the flotilla to generate bad publicity for Israel? What better way to do this than by provoking the IDF into fatal retaliation, without actually killing an IDF soldier? Murder is after all a categorical sin in Islam. What better way to embrace martyrdom (Sahid) without murder?

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Turkish Islamism. It is far more insidious and calculating than anything the West has yet encountered. In the very least, it is much more humane than suicide bombings and violent Jihad.

How is the Messiah prophesied to be?? It is important to know, so that one can differentiate between a true Messiah and a false Messiah. Let us study Tan’’kh (which Christians call the “OT”) to see what it teaches about the Messiah.

Yeshayahu [”Isaiah”] 9:5: [Translation in accordance with etymology – science about the origins and meanings of words; and the semicolon is placed according to the cantillation marks which the Hebrew texts require]:

ויקרא שמו פלא יועץ אל גבור; אבי-עד שר-שלום :

The Creator does not change – Malakhi 3:6, Tehilim [”Psalms”] 89:35. The meaning of this passage from the year 720 b.c.e cannot have changed. Some Christians are doing a similar mistake when saying that 'Jesus taught Christianity'.

The first century Yehoshua was a Torah-observant Pharisaic leader with semikhah [rabbinic ordination] from Raban Jamliyeil. [Documentation.]

To say that he or his followers started a new religion contradicts a formal logical analysis based on the historical documentation; and it is not what the followers of the Messiah were prophesied to teach.

Anders Branderud, we Christians always based our faith and wisdom on the truths in the Holy Spirit-filled written Bible by our God’s chosen Apostles. Have you read the Gospel, the Good News, and the New Testament on the whole. Please don't get me wrong; I also believe in the Old Testament which contains the Torah, but our shared Judeo-Christian God, Lord Jesus Christ, in the NT, opened the path of reconciliation with ever sinful human beings, through genuine repenting from sin, and believing in Him and His power as the one and same God as in the OT. eeuilding on the excellent comment by Doom and Gloom, Bibi needs to stop trying to reconcile what cannot be reconciled and stake out a new position, then present it to the Israeli people in a new election. He needs 61 Knesset seats for Likud and parties on the same page. I believe he can get it if people believe he has the guts to stick to his position. The majority of Americans will approve once he explains his rationale.

first, Israel will become the first nation to voluntarily withdraw from the United Nations. Membership was onc regarded as an honor. Today it is a disgrace. Why Israel first? In Numbers we read that the Midianite prophet Bilaam was hired to curse the Jews, but could only speak the words G-d put into his mouth. One saying was, "It is a people that dwells alone, and is not counted among the nations." Has anyone seen the list of nations not eligible to sit on the Security Council? In his withdrawal speech he will invite the US and all other nations who actually respect the UN Charter to form a new organization, modeled after the group that walked out of Durban II.

Second, considering that the Palestinian Arabs have broken every committment they made, including Arafat's promise to amend the Charter, all negotiations with them are canceled. They can live and work in the disputed territories as now, but will not be given voting rights in Israel. Nothing will change until they change the way they define the conflict, and until the Muslim world commits to peace with a Jewish state.

Last, in the words of Yitschak Rabin, "Israel's security border is the Jordan River. The IDF will maintain continuous presence in Judea/Samaria, the "West Bank," indefinitely.

In the unlikely event that he will do this, and the less likely event that he will stand his ground against the firestorm of protest against his program, we will begin to see progress toward real peace.
