Even though Christmas has been taken hostage by Capitalist to increase business revenues, many still practice this corrupt celebration as a remembrance of the birth of Jesus, who is considered as 'the incarnation of God' second third of the trinity, hence it is a celebration of the birth of divinity.
Though the date 25th December is taken by Christians as the birth of Jesus, the origins of this date can be linked to the birthday of the Hindu god Khrishna, & the Greek god of light, Mithra. This evil celebration is from many angles of origin is a deeply rooted practice of Shirk (worshipping along with the Creator [i.e. Allah], a crime which Allah will never forgive.
"Verily, Allâh forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, & whoever sets up partners with Allâh in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin" [4:48]
How can a Muslim possibly approve or participate in such a practice that bases itself on the notion that Allah has an offspring?
Allah (swt) said,
"Such was Jesus, the son of Mary; it is a statement of truth, about which they vainly dispute. It is not befitting to the majesty of God, that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! When He determines a matter, He only says to it, 'Be' & it is" [19:34-35]
If the prophet of Allah, Jesus (Isa the son of Maryum, peace be upon him) was to return now, he would never tolerate such accusations being levied against him. Rather when he was born his first proclamation was clarifying his status as slave & messenger of Allah & nothing more.
He (Jesus) said: 'Verily! I am a slave of God; He has given me the Scripture & made me a Prophet; "[19:29-30]
The very concept of Christmas contradicts & conflicts with the foundation of Islam, & that is the testimony of faith, "La Ilaha Ila Allah - None has the right to be worshipped but Allah". Any person with basic knowledge of Islam could never accept or tolerate such a false accusation against Allah. Allah is free from having any offspring or being an offspring, for He (swt) said,
"Say: "God is Unique! God, the Source [of everything]. He has not fathered anyone nor was He fathered, & there is nothing comparable to Him!" [112:1-4]
Even though this practice is heavily glamorised & practiced by the majority, it is paramount for every worshipper of Allah to avoid following the masses in this evil celebration, Allah (swt) said,
"If you obey most of those upon the earth, they will lead you away from the way of Allaah." [6:116]
It is the ruling of Allah & His Messenger, that those who imitate anyone in dress, manner, behaviour, speech or even celebration becomes part of that community, for the messenger of Allah (swt) said,
"Whoever imamates a group of people he is one of them". [Reported in Abu Dawood]
Every Muslim has a responsibility to protect his family from the misguidance of Christmas, because its observance will lead to hellfire (a punishment which is seventy times hotter than the fires of this world).

Know dear Muslim, to offer Christmas cards, attend any Christmas events, to congratulate others (i.e. by saying "Merry Christmas" or "Happy New Year" etc), Decorating the house, purchasing Christmas trees, or having Christmas turkey meals are completely prohibited by Allah. The author of this piece seems confused about several things. First, the dating of Christmas has more to do with the winter solstice, and Roman festivities around that date, than it does with any Hindu god. Also, Mithra was Persian, not Greek.

Christmas is a magical time for children, and Islam has nothing to compare with it. There are no seasonal festivals in Islam because the Islamic year is innaccurate (a few days short of the full 365 - Allah was useless at mathematics), consequently their festivals such as Eid gradually wander through the calendar from month to month and season to season.

Although I'm now an atheist, I was raised in a Christian home and always loved the Christmas story and admired Jesus and his teachings.

At the primary school where I teach, we have a Christmas tree decorated in the main hallway. On Friday all the kids went to see a Christmas play put on by the local high school. We have a few muslims at the school and one little boy in Grade 1 was crying afterwards. I asked him what was wrong and he said, "All the other kids have fun and get presents from Santa and I never get anything!" I replied, "But you're muslim and you don't celebrate Christmas." He said, "I know, but it's not fair!" What else could I say? My heart went out to him. Depending on how his parents handle it, I can only imagine him growing up and resenting us who do celebrate. He may grow up supremacist, thinking he is better than us and all because he wasn't allowed to participate in Christmas celebrations. Very sad!

KARACHI: A doctor has been arrested for insulting the Prophet Mohammed in Pakistan, police said on Sunday, in a second high profile case throwing the spotlight on the country’s controversial anti-blasphemy laws.
Naushad Valiyani was detained on Friday following a complaint by a medical representative who visited the doctor in the city of Hyderabad.
“The arrest was made after the complainant told the police that Valiyani threw his business card, which had his full name, Muhammad Faizan, in a dustbin during a visit to his clinic,” regional police chief Mushtaq Shah told AFP.
“Faizan accused Valiyani of committing blasphemy and asked police to register a case against the doctor.”
Shah said the issue had been resolved after Valiyani, a member of Pakistan’s Ismaili community, apologised but local religious leaders intervened and pressed for action.
“Valiyani had assured Faizan that he did not mean to insult the Prophet Mohammed by throwing the visiting card in the dustbin,” Shah said, adding that the police had registered a case under the Blasphemy Act.
Can we get rid of the tired old misunderstanding that just because the Christians had to put certain holidays on the same days as pagan celebrations, this means they were 'adopting' them? One of the reason Christians did this is that in the early days of the faith, it was illegal in many places to go to church. If they were caught doing that, they'd be arrested or killed. So they put some holidays on the same days as the pagans, allowing Christians time to go to church while everyone else in the other religions was off at their own temples-- meaning the Christians wouldn't get caught.
Just because two holidays happen around the same time, doesn't mean they are the same thing. Since people of different religions were living in the same places, the days that they did things were bound to coincide sometimes. The pagans worshiped many gods and celebrated nature-oriented festivals; the Christians would worship a completely different God, and celebrate the birth of Jesus, or saints' feast days, and so on-- these are not the same.

Pray for him. Pray that the Christmas play - did it have any Christian content? I hope it did = will stick in his subconscious and not go away. Pray for his spiritual protection. Pray that he will dream about the Lord Jesus (this kind of thing has happened - I know of Muslims who have left Islam because of overwhelmingly convincing visions or dreams of a wonderful, loving, smiling person who identifies himself as 'Jesus').
Pray that all the worst nightmares of the jihad plotters and sharia pushers will come true! I guess it comes as no surprise that muslims hate infidel holidays. I am a Hindu raised in India and for me Christmas was right up there amongst my favorite festivals. Christmas for me was lazing at home in the vacation (yes we had a 10 day break- even though my school was not missionary administered and it was called for what it is- Christmas break, unlike liberals here who prefer to name it just "holiday"), enjoy the Christmas specials on TV and wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year. The best part as kids in school was that kindergarteners got gifts! Boy, did I love Christmas!

The phrase, "no god but Allah" proves "Allah" is not just another word for "God" to the Muslims. The transliterated phrase from Arabic reads, "La ilaha illAllah". A word for word translation into English would read: La [no] ilaha [god] ill [except or but] Allah [Allah]. The important thing to note is that the word "Allah" is a name and is not the word for god. If "Allah" were the word for god, then the phrase would read, "there is no allah but allah".

Why not "Happy New Year"?
New Year is a totally non-religious, non-nationalist celebration. It doesn't commemorate anything except the fact that the earth moves around the sun at a regular pace.

As for the Islamic article, it evidences typical Islamic misunderstanding. Since God is not composed of parts, to say that Jesus is God is not to say that he is a 1/3rd of the deity. To say that Jesus is deity is to say that he possesses all of the divine qualities. God is one as to whatness and three as to whoness. It is something of an intellectual shame that Islamic writers can't after all this time can't even acurately represent the views with which they disagree.
There is such a gorgeous energy surrounding Christmas, nothing like the perpetual ugly black clouds that follow all "celebrations" of islam.
Allah forbid that muslims be insulted by the customs and observances of the indigenous people in the Western country they chose to invade. The schools should provide shelter and counseling for muslim pupils and protect them from the evil influence of Christmas, and they should be given blinders so they won't have to directly gaze upon manger scenes or festive decorations.
As muslims frantically try to escape the ubiquitous trappings of the corrupt and immoral polytheists as they engage in sinful festivities, infidels should at all times be obsequiously apologetic to muslim sensitivities and bend over backwards to downplay their pagan celebrations. We wouldn't want our patriotic, tolerant muslim citizens to resort to armed jihad in frustration and outrage.
