At least five were of Bangladeshi origin.
Lord Carlile, the government's independent watchdog for terror legislation, said Tuesday the alleged plot appeared significant and involved several British cities, but he did not identify the targets. Police have up to 28 days to either charge the men or release them.
Possible targets that were scouted include the Houses of Parliament in London and shopping areas around the U.K., according to a security official who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing....
Sadly going for a walk or window shopping is now a potential death walk. How the world has changed when you let in Mohammedans into the mix. A complete change in society and norms. I am very glad that these murderous clowns were caught. But if they had slaughtered dozens of innocents, then the tide of public opinion that hates Islam and all it stands for would have risen markedly.

But I would remind Muslims in Britain that the last time someone plotted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London, he met a very sticky end, and his effigy is now ceremoniously burnt on bonfires all over Britain, every fifth of November.
These men were made of different stuff than those who chased down every last one of those conspirators, who, if I recall, tried to hide in Midlands, which is currently suffering from an Islamic conquest.
They may have to start caring about their nation and culture and head back to Midlands again.

That's no good Deacon John. Why do you want women and children to sing Handel's Hallelua Chorus, or Silent Night or whatever, while being blown to smithereens? That's what some "Christians" may have done while Hitler jackbooted his way through Poland and Europe. You have to stand up to these killers by saying they have to be deported, their propaganda religious schools shut down and all kids be taught the freedoms and rights of man at school and the evils of Islam (and all other religion and propaganda that seeks to dominate and enslave).
Would you be willing to do that Deacon John? Would you have the courage to picket their Mosques rather than sing Handel's Hallelua Chorus in relative safety in the shopping areas? I was trying to contrast the diametrically opposite ways people of the two religions are this Christmas season standing up for their religion and trying to gain support. Christians using peaceful means to evangelize while Moslems are organizing for violence to sway people.
