When I first started to read this article, I assumed that Jaziri had somehow gotten back into Canada and was sneaking into the US from there—until I found he was being smuggled in to *California*. Another Jihadist taking advantage of the porous border with Mexico to infiltrate America.

In 1987, I transferred to the port of San Ysidro to work as a U.S. Customs Inspector. During that year, we began to hear from the Border Patrol about a new type of "Other Than Mexican (OTM) that they were interdicting. They looked Hispanic, but did not speak Spanish. They were Middle Easterners trying to mix in with the usual assortment of Hispanic illegal immigrants, or EWIs (Entry Without Inspection).
This form of illegal immigration at our porous Southern border with Mexico represents one of the greatest dangers to North American countries. These monsters are invading our countries using the same routes that others are using to sneak in. We can only imagine what contraband they are carrying with them.
It is all too easy to drive a vehicle into our country without notice, carrying several hundred pounds of contraband. Forget about all of the radiation detection equipment that DHS has installed at ports of entry. There are none along the routes that the jihadis are using.
Our borders must be secured using every available resource that we can muster into position. Failure to do this will result in the next large-scale attack by muslims on our countries. Put all of the pressure that you can on your elected representatives to stop taking this threat too casually. Our lives, our freedoms, our economic prosperity and all that we love about our lives is at stake.
Prime Minister Harper is seeing the light concerning muslims in Canada. He has a problem though when it comes to stopping the influx of Islamentians...he has a minority government at the moment which means his authority to stop all immigration of them is watered down considerably by the Liberal and NDP parties. They will vote no for that piece of legislation.
Hopefully for the next Canadian election, possibly this Spring, Canadians will give Prime Minister Harper a majority government! Then he will be able to pass legislation to stop the Islamentians from coming into Canada and destroying our freedoms.

The province of Quebec choses its immigrants and the government of Quebec privileges french-speaking immigrants. Because of that, in 2009 about 10,000 North Africans immigrated to Quebec, with a majority coming from Algeria. I read that they had a target higher than 10,000, but because of the work involved in checking the background of those immigrants (performed by the government of Canada) the target could not be reached. And with the government of Quebec wanting to increase the number of immigrants from 34,000 to 50,000 per year within the next few years, you can just guess what will happen to the muslim population in Montreal.
I agree with you, the Liberals and the NDP will do nothing to stop or decrease muslim immigration. I sure hope the Conservatives get their breakthrough in Ontario, which could give them a majority government.
