As usual, the accused disclaims any responsibility and says she hit herself. In the face. With a gun. "Minneapolis officer accused of assaulting his wife," from the Star-Tribune, January 21 (thanks to J.F.):
A Minneapolis police officer was charged with felony assault Friday, accused of hitting his wife in the face with a gun and threatening to kill her.Mukhtar Abdulkadir, 36, of Andover was quarreling with his wife Wednesday before bedtime, according a criminal complaint filed in Anoka County District Court. The next morning, he threw her on the couch and punched her in the ribs, the complaint said. As she was screaming, he put a pillow over her head, according to the document.
With his 3-year-old child yelling at him to stop, Abdulkadir grabbed a handgun from a closet and hit his wife in the face with the butt end, the charges said. She didn't seek medical treatment.
She went to her parents' house. When she returned home, he threatened to kill her, the complaint said. She told police he had been violent with her in the past and had threatened to kill her, the complaint said....
Abdulkadir told police his wife hit herself and she assaulted him. On Friday, she came to the county attorney's office and recanted her story, saying she lied and wasn't sure how she was injured, the complaint said. She had visible injuries consistent with her earlier disclosure, the complaint said.
It's not unusual for an abuse victim to recant, said Tennison. In this case, she had earlier made very specific disclosures that were corroborated, he said. An investigator will follow up with Abdulkadir's wife on Monday.
Abdulkadir was charged with felony second-degree assault, terroristic threats and domestic assault. The Minneapolis Police Department's internal affairs unit is investigating.
And nowhere in the article does it say the man has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. !
I know there is a hadith in which mo advises husbands to keep a lash, whip, or scourge on display to remind their wives of the price of disobedience or displeasing the husband. Does anyone know which hadith i am referring to?

There are few things more disgusting than a man hitting a woman. Muslim men do this in bunches because the Koran says they can and Mohammed himself did it. All part of the reason why Islam is disgusting.

Even beyond that, who is the model family in Christianity? Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. It would be an outrage in this tradition to suggest anyone was hitting anybody (though we'll probably see it in taxpayer-funded art at some point -- but I digress).
Who is the model family in Islam? The household of Muhammad and his many wives, where he could not even stick to the rule of 4 he "revealed" for everyone else. And we know he hit Aisha, and the supposedly divine sanction of Qur'an 4:34 left him free to do so. Qur'an 33:21 makes it worthy of emulation.
We hear it all the time: the family is the fundamental building block of society. What kind of families are serving in that role, and what constitutes the ideal home can have a devastating bearing on the nature of society.
Muhammad's household is a microcosm of Allah's universe: the expectation of submission with recourse to violence to ensure it. And if that's your ideal -- if you believe that's as good as it gets -- you have a serious problem, and so does the rest of society.
I hope they are keeping him in custody - he'll kill her if he gets the chance.
The wife should now be charged with filing a false police report, if she doesn't go through with the prosecution of her husband. Ma'am, here are your choices: You stick with your story of your husband beating you or you go to jail for filing a false police report. The choice is yours.

A *police officer*. *This* is who we have protecting the good people of Minneapolis. That he and any others like him are routinely responding to domestic violence calls is especially troubling.

Lessons for the little 3-year-old—either warning her what happens if you displease your Muslim husband if a girl, or offering a savage "model of conduct" if a boy.
If the child is a boy, there will be every attempt to squelch the essential moral decency he displayed as a small toddler.
Also—he hit her with the butt of a handgun. Was it the very firearm he was issued by the city of Minneapolis to protect its citizenry?
Notice, too, that the victim failed to get medical attention—probably under threats from her attacker, who would know all too well what sort of questions would be asked at a clinic or emergency room...

Shades of the case in Buffalo, New York, where a Muslim husband with a long history of domestic violence beheaded his wife. He is claiming instead that his petite wife regularly *abused him*.
Moreover, I wouldn't be surprised if on some level, he actually believes it. Muslims regularly hold their victims—"domestic" or otherwise—of having "provoked" their actions, and hence being entirely responsible.

From the mouth of children comes wisdom. That boy's demands for his dad to stop clearly demonstrates that natural law exists.
It's also telling that the boy is 3 just like Adam of Baghdad martyr of the Our Lady of Deliverance massacre who supposedly pestered his parents' killers with: WHY? until they killed him too.

How about if EVERYONE calls the Internal Affairs Unit of the Minneapolis Police Department and inquire on the status? Is Mukhtar sitting at a desk?

Domestic violence victims are typically conditioned to accept the blame for their own abuse. Abusers typically gradually isolate their victims, making them totally dependent upon the abuser. The abuser attempts to put himself in the place of God, controlling and dominating every aspect of the victim's life, dictating actions and thoughts, demanding the victim only be an extension of the abuser, meting out punishments (emotional and physical) for disobedience. The victim is picked on until the victim breaks and gets hysterical or lashes out and then the reaction to the abuse is "exposed" as the reason for the abuse. Society also blames the victim for "allowing" the abuse, which only serves to isolate the victim further and reinforces the abuser's constant barrage of blame upon the victim. So, the victim is conditioned to protect the abuser because the victim is punished for the violent actions of the abuser. It takes an average of seven tries before a victim is free of the abuser, who fights to retain or regain control, and it is usually when the victim is trying to get away from the abuser that the victim is killed. It is basically the same conditioning that is used to control POW's in war. Sharia law codifies ("legalizes") such abuse of women and non-Muslims and declares such evil to be good.
