Notice Muzzammil Hassan explicitly refers to "God" (Allah) *while plotting his wife's murder". He is also not above using Islam to push his wife to "forgive" him and thus expose herself to her own killing.
Hassan essentially admits his abuse of his wife in these texts.
"Please don't punish me so hard". *This* is the victim's "abuse" of her brutal husband—having the temerity to flee his abuse.
Sounds like he was pacifying so as not to alert her to the pending danger.
Because of Islam's phony pretender, M who styled himself as if he were a prophet (ha, ha), Muslims have followed his examples of deceit. In their personal lives, in their business dealings. Because lying is part and parcel of being a Muslim, other Muslims but most esp. non-Muslims simply cannot trust Muslims. Americans must learn this important lesson; they are too trusting.
This man may have very well been a monster to his wife (and women in general) even if he hadn't been a Muslim, but being a Muslim could only reinforce the worst in him respecting how to treat with the opposite gender, Tony Blair's sister-in-law's take on how wonderful Islam is for women notwithstanding. The encouragement by Islam to treat women as, in effect, a kind of chattel, awarded when they behave well pursuant to what Mohammed himself opined about what constituted a "good woman," should be the real lesson learned from this tragedy---but it won't be, especially if the media can inject again and again its stupid, multicultural, PC-infested and uninformed take on this despicable crime.
In closing, I would like to bring up a specific point and it is this: Is there any woman out there who has not lost her common sense, and who truly thinks that gender equality is a laudable goal, who would want a man like the founder of Islam for a husband? I've mentioned many times at JW that the key to discrediting Islam is to discredit Mohammed. My query here goes to the heart of this approach by which Islam can most expeditiously be put on the trash heap of history once Mohammed is. This seventh-century fraud was full of rot. It is not too far a stretch of the imagination to believe that Aasiya had, in the months preceeding her murder, harbored some serious misgivings about the verity of Muhammedanism. Though I doubt we'll ever know the full truth of it, the fact that she was lured to her slaughter under the flag of 'forgive me' by Mr Bridges TV does strike me as strange.

This story horrified me from the moment I first learned of it.
How can a man do something so ghastly to the woman he shared home with, shared a bed with, and who bore and was raising his children? Can you imagine the horror she endured? I cannot even picture in my mind what the crime site must have looked like, or what nightmares it must cause even still to those who had to see it and clean it up.
And their poor children! Who is caring for them? How are they coping? How can anyone cope with such a horror?

As soon as the victim is established in the situation again, the escalation of abuse starts up again. When the victim finally has the support system to be able to leave or the abuser realizes he is losing control is most often when the victim is killed by the abuser.
Islam caters to domestic violence abusers, and Sharia codifies and sanctions the abuse. This case is a blatant example.
