Remember that Obama went out of his way to invite Muslim Brotherhood representatives to his speech in Cairo in June 2009. So it is unlikely that he even sees the need to stand up to them.
"Muslim Brotherhood Wants War With Israel," from Forex Crunch, January 31 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
Mohamed Ghanem, one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, calls Egypt to stop pumping gas to Israel and prepare the Egyptian army for a war with it's [sic] eastern neighbor.Speaking with Iranian television station Al-Alam, Mohamed Ghanem blamed Israel for supporting Hosni Mubarak's regime. Ghanem also said that the Egyptian police and army won't be able to stop the Muslim Brotherhood movement....
Like someone else said on another blog, if that's the case, if the MB thinks it's time for war with Israel then Israel needs to wipe out the Egyptian air force immediately.
It appears the devil is afoot and he is muslim.
Bring it on! Israel will wipe out the enemy, just like they've always done.
It pains me to say this but in some ways I'm glad that all this is coming out in the open.
The past 20 - 30 years Muslim Brotherhood has been in the shadows building its power among the Egyptian people and many other Islamic countries. They have even been building a base of power in the United States! The calls for Jihad have steadily grown since Osama Bin Ladin and Al Queda committed the greatest atrocity in the US since Pearl Harbor. For far too long our calls and warnings about the Islamists and their plans have been met with silence by ordinary Americans.
Now we are witnessing the attempt by Muslim Brotherhood and their Islamic allies to recreate their Islamic Caliphate and subjugate the rest of the world. If they are successful in Egypt and the rest of the Middle Eastern countries follow their path, it will become a very dangerous situation for everyone on this planet.
Unless Islamists are thwarted in their plans now, we are witnessing what is likely to be the opening moves in what will be known as World War III.
Will they still claim it was Israeli aggression again? Or will they still cry like kids? I hope this time Israel get Sinai back and never return it.
Will they still claim it was Israeli aggression again? Or will they still cry like kids? I hope this time Israel get Sinai back and never return it.
The Muslim fanatics and terrorists that include Baradei, will use anyone and anything to get to their most evil and savage goal of gaining alliance of Arab and Iranian-Mullahs Nazi-like conquest. Imagine the unspeakable horror to Israel and the Jews especially. After all, the Arab Muslims including the Palestinian Mufti of Jerusalem, Muslim Brotherhood founder, Hassan al-banna and the Turkish Ottomans were among or main Hitler/Nazi’s biggest collaborators or advisers! Hoenlein: ElBaradei a ‘stooge’ for Iran
By RON KAMPEAS \ JTA
01/31/2011 15:25
Conference of Presidents chief says Egyptian opposition leader "distorted reports" from Iran during his tenure as IAEA director.
WASHINGTON - The director of the US Jewish foreign policy umbrella called Mohammed ElBaradei, the opposition leader emerging from the Egyptian ferment, a "stooge of Iran."
Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice-president of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, accused ElBaradei of covering up Iran's true nuclear weaponization capacities while he directed the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN nuclear watchdog.
He is a stooge of Iran, and I don't use the term lightly," Hoenlein said in an online recorded interview with Yeshiva World News on the Egyptian crisis. "He fronted for them, he distorted the reports."
ElBaradei, who directed the IAEA from 1997-2009, returned to Egypt after his third term ended. He was soon touted as a possible challenger to the 30-year autocracy led by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak....
I'd still feel better about the possibility of giving those black-cube worshippers another Six-Day-War-style lesson if Mahound's flying donkey weren't in the White House... You never know, I'll bet Buraq Hussein's special advisor on mahoundian affairs, non-penis-possessing, half-male mobile-tent Dalia Mogahed must already have told him "you want your outreach to my fellow fascists, I mean, mahoundians to work? I mean, to work for real, not as I told you it would but hasn't so far? Then help us, I mean, help Egypt defeat Israel if them Jooooooooz offer resistance when we, I mean, the Egyptians attack them."
This is interesting:

very nice islamonazi sum up here...
America's Egyptian policy is like a policeman who, upon learning about a man plotting to murder his neighbor, attempts to prevent the crime by bribing the would-be murderer with weapons and ammo. The Camp David agreement never made any sense. Ironically enough, Americans now fear that a more Islamist Egypt would close the Suez canal to American as well as Israeli vessels. Now why is it that Egypt controls the Suez canal in the first place? After all, at the end of the Yom Kippur war Israel controlled both sides of the Sinai.
Ever since T.E. Lawrence, the policy of the various Great Powers toward the Arabs has been what could be described as competetive ass-kissing. For some reason, it is always "we must win over the Arabs by giving them what they demand." Where has that gotten us? It gave us 9/11, and now possible Islamist revolutions all over the Arab world.
I recently saw an article, that said that only Two of the Sunni "Madh'hab"s sanctioned "Jihad" as Holy War!!
Is this true, can anyone provide a link/analysis; I was under the impression that all four Sunni "Madh'hab's" sanctioned "Jihad" in one form or another?
Islam exists to enslave its followers and to kill the infidel. Any surprise here? I hope Jews come together and remember their history so they can unite against a common foe. This historic interview on Israel National Radio sheds light on Pre-Abrahamic history and exposes Islam for the reconstituted Baal worship that it is -- under the guise of a pseudo-monotheistic "religion" http://www.marcrubin.com/judean-eve.ivnu
and watch Americans take back their country and throw the criminals in jail in this LOL animated satire with the "head-up-the-butt" people -- which applies to any Eqyptian who supports the MB too. http://www.marcrubin.com/hairmerica.ivnu
All of the modern weapons still won't help Egypt, they are the same cowards that lost in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, etc.
There was an old joke during The Six Day War that Ralph Nader was was leading a safety campaign to install backup lights on Egyptian tanks!
Know Islam, Know Violence
No Islam, No Violence
There seems to be a sense of urgency.
They can only do this while the Obama-bastard is in the white house. They know a Muslim will do everything and anything to help them, which means boycott supplies to Israel, obstruct any defense, assist the Muslims with modern weaponry and finally even turn US weapons on Israel.
2 years ago this was predicted to me with frightening accuracy by a rather dodgy character in Malaysia. This was the Obama plan all along.
They will claim it was Israeli aggression and so will the MSM. That's the difference between now and 1967. It's like there is a strategic decision to give Israel to the Muslims and there's an expansive propaganda campaign in the west to convince the public that we deserve it, so the people won't object to our destruction since they'll believe it's both the moral thing to do and the solution to all war and terrorism emanating from the Muslim world.
It's like, for instance, that in WWII people from the British government and the BBC decided not to tell the British public about the genocide of the Jews, supposedly because the British people were not likely to be interested in the fate of this human scum, but more likely, in my opinion, to prevent objections to the British policy in Palestine (preventing Jewish immigration from Europe). So in WWII we've seen a collusion between government officials and the BBC to mislead the public so as (in my opinion) to not hurt British interests in the region. How do I know this isn't happening now as well?
I thought about it too (doesn't matter if he's a Muslim or a leftist since both Muslims and leftists hate Israel with the same passion), but won't he need the congress to pass such decisions?

Example 1:
A Curse on the Jews till the Day of Resurrection
Chapter 5:64:
“They (Note:the Jews) have said, “God’s hand is fettered.”"
Analysis:
The hand of Allah is chained, the God of Muhammad is powerless,impotent..
Why?Logic tell us it is because Muhammad could not do miracles. You can read it in this article:
http://www.antisharia.com/2011/01/29/in-the-koran-muhammad-can-not-do-miracles-but-jesus-can/
“Fettered are their hands, and they are cursed for what they have said. No, but His hands are outspread; He expends how He will.
And what has been sent down to you from you Lord will surely increase many of them in insolence and unbelief; and We (Note:Allah) have cast among them enmity and hatred, till the Day of Resurrection.
As often as they light a fire for war, God will extinguish it. They hasten about the earth, to do corruption there; and God loves not the workers of corruption.”

As Ronald Reagan used to say "trust and verify". Pamela Geller is hardly a trustworthy source for factual information.
Even MEMRI knows that Mohamed Ghanem is NOT a "Muslim Brotherhood leader in Egypt". MEMRI confirms that he is a Muslim Brotherhood representative in Great Britain. Even that characterization is not necessarily his exact position.
In any case, the comments attributed to him in his Iranian radio interview are diametrically opposed to the public position held by the Egyptian MB for the last quarter of a century.
The amount of collective ignorance and paranoia in the comments on this site is frightening.
"qalam" likely refers to Sura 68, Al-Qalam (The Pen). There is no 96th verse.
The basic tone of this Sura is sneering at anyone who doubts Islam or the Qu'ran.
Another major theme is warning Unbelievers not to get too smug just because they are more productive and accomplished than Muslims, because "Allah" is going to have revenge on them.
Here's the appalling, scheming deity "Allah" on this subject:
Qu'ran 68:45: I am giving them a respite. Great is My scheme!
The text goes on to warn that Infidels consider themselves safe and sound, but soon they will be forced to "prostrate themselves"—that is, prove themselves "slaves of Allah", but they will be exposed as "hypocrites".
Qu'ran 68:44: So leave Me, (O Prophet), to deal with him who gives the lie to this Discourse. We shall draw them little by little (to their undoing) in a way that they will not know.
This passage urges pious Muslims to plot against Infidels and Muslims considered "insufficiently Islamic".
........................
This seems especially apropos given the point of this thread.
Time will tell, qualam96, and we'll all find out together whether you are right or not. But your charge "The amount of collective ignorance and paranoia in the comments on this site is frightening" is unwarranted and marks a propensity for projection we have come to expect from Leftists and apologists for Islamic aggression.
There are several bellwethers to watch for that will give some indication of the direction of things to come.
1. The stock and foreign exchange markets. Turmoil in Egypt, or more broadly in the ME in general, will send stocks south and cause wild swings in the forex. There are those who are ready for this, and who will be able to profit from it. And where will the profits come from? Make a guess.
The first hiccup in the markets occurred last Friday, and I'm not waiting for it to crash a week from now before taking action. I've started moving out of stocks and into cash and bonds as a precautionary measure.
2. Flight of foreigners and embassy staff from Egypt.
Already started.
3. Flight of capital.
First from Egypt, but the real signal of imminent trouble will be when, first, capital, and then Israelis, start to flee from Israel.
Meanwhile, of course, our government dithers. Obama - we already know about him. He is emotionally incapable of taking any action against what he would perceive as being aggression against Muslims. He will instead sit on his hands until Cairo burns, and then extend a hand of friendship to the new government. If it's the MB, hey, what's the problem? /sarc
Where are statements from our military about all this? My guess is that Gates and Mullen are still too preoccupied with the pussification, ummm, I mean the multicultural, multiethnic, multisexual social re-engineering, of our fighting forces to be bothered with assessing whether the resultant product will be fit for the conflict that looms.
Israelis won't flee from Israel if there'll be some international support for our self defense, at least from the US. Otherwise, if there'll be arms embargo, boycotts, sanctions etc. that will lead to our demise, those who can will flee, and the millions who can't will perish, or more likely use WMD if we can to prevent our genocide. We've been through many wars with collective Arab armies and we can survive this one too, even if Iran and perhaps Turkey join in we still have a good chance - what we can't survive is the west supporting the jihad. The west should also consider what happens if our weapons fall in the hands of the Ummah. Remember our missiles can reach Europe.
Oil. We sold our soul for Arab Crude and we have no plan on how to get it back. They just don't seem to understand that we don't care about them or their Islamic crap. All we care about, when it comes to them, is our own self-interest. There's no American Crusader/Zionist plot to destroy Islam. We just want to buy their oil. And that's it. A simple business deal. But their primitive, aggressive culture always gets in the way. If we could find a new source of oil minus all the crap these people put us through, we'd set sail from The Middle East and never look back.
I find it perplexing that with all that wealth, instead of using the cash to advance themselves and improve the lives of their people, they use it to ship all of their Islamic, Jihadist crap all over the world. Anyone else would have done wonders with those Petro-dollars. And yet they're obsessed with destroying Israel, the one tiny country in the region that doesn't produce any oil. Not to mention the one major success story in the region. The one country that isn't Islamic btw. Which says all you need to know. Giving these people access to oil technology is like giving an AK-47 to a caveman.
The source is not Pamela Geller, but Forex Crunch.
As for Ghanem, there's not much information about him, but I'd ask where was he born and why he's in Britain? I mean many MB personalities immigrated from Egypt to the west due to the repression of the MB in Egypt, so someone can be both an Egyptian MB leader and an MB representative in Europe. Don't know if this is the case here, but worth checking.
And when you talk about the public position held by the MB do you mean the one expressed in English for western audience or the one expressed in Arabic? Because a few months ago the MB declared jihad on the US (and Israel) (and plaese don't tell me Barry Rubin is ignorant because he's been studying the region for over 30 years).
That's what Rubin wrote on October 7, 2010 about this declaration (emphases mine):
"Does that mean the Egyptian, Jordanian, and all the camouflaged Muslim Brotherhood fronts in Europe and North America are going to launch terrorism as one of their affiliates, Hamas, has long done? No.
"But it does mean that something awaited for decades has happened: the Muslim Brotherhood is ready to move from the era of propaganda and base-building to one of revolutionary action. At least, its hundreds of thousands of followers are being given that signal. Some of them will engage in terrorist violence as individuals or forming splinter groups; others will redouble their efforts to seize control of their countries and turn them into safe areas for terrorists and instruments for war on the West."
What are we seeing now?
Rubin's predictions are almost always right, yet he's marginalized for the sake of ignorant foolish "experts" whose predictions are almost always wrong, but reflect the dominant intellectual paradigm which is far more sacred than reality.
I and virtually all JWathcers are fully behind you, DaG. We all recognize how extraordinarily perilous the times have suddenly become for Israel and offer our unwavering support in whatever capacity we are able to muster.
As you probably know, there is much dissatisfaction in the U.S. with Obama, on many fronts but most especially because of his bumbling actions in the ME, and the inability of the foreign policy establishment to understand in proper terms the correlation of gathering forces. Strong efforts are underway to unset him next year, but the relevant question just now is whether that will be too late to prevent a slide of the broader ME into Islamic fundamentalism.
I have many friends and colleagues at Tel Aviv University, with whom I routinely correspond, and they all share your determination to stay put and defend Israel, no matter what, if events spin out of control. And, yes, using WMD to prevent genocide would be fully justified.
Psst, Barry, this is what a coup looks like...
one can only hope that Mubarak and the Army are clever enough to pull off triangulating the peaceful demonstrators from the revolutionaries and have just put a crisis to good use and drawn the covers of the islanist traitors.
El Baridai and Obaamaa are encouraging violence and setting up a bloody civil war - we will now see how well the muslin brotherhood has infiltrated the military. Clinton should be calling out the MB on their "Day of Rage" and violent sedition.
Obamama is now doing real damage to our National Security. Nobody will trust the US to have their back - I think the Saudi's are going to become China's best friend. Good job Barry.
AND, all the adults in DC are going along with this? Who needs a jihad in the US anyway?; we've pretty much just cut our own throats to give them a hand...
You wrote: '...the comments attributed to him (Ghanem)in his Iranian radio interview are diametrically opposed to the public position held by the Egyptian MB for the last quarter of a century.'
So what? Islam promotes lying to advance its cause. And you say that his comments are diametrically opposed to the 'public position' held by Big Brother-hood.
What about their private position? Do you think we would be stupid enough to believe that Ghanem and Big Brother-hood are at odds when it comes to the imposition of Shariah, and fighting until 'all religion is for Allah'?
You're a clown!
In the Fifties Nasser nationalised the Suez Canal. Being jointly owned by Britain and France this theft of property and revenue didn't go down too well.
A joint force of British, French and Israeli paratroops landed and were in the process of taking it back when America under the leadership of Eisenhower declared the action illegal.
World opinion swayed against the tripartite coalition and within about a week we'd withdrawn.
Our PM at the time Sir Anthony Eden, was forced to resign and ever since this 'Suez Crisis' has been regarded as one of the most humiliating experiences in our post war history.
Ronald Reagan also said - Never mind the deficit, it's big enough to look after itself.
"The amount of collective ignorance and paranoia in the comments on this site is frightening."
Not as much as that which affects the Arab world.
Kept in poverty by the kleptocrats and the sheer negative gravity of Islam itself, they are fed a diversionary daily diet of anti western/anti-semitic bile which re-directs the poor saps anger outwards.
Even that most emblemic of peoples, the Pal-Arabs are treated as second class citizens in Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt whilst their impotent rage is then directed at Israel.
And, Jew haters to a man, they fall for it. Every time!

Ezekiel 38, anybody!?!
I don't know how anyone can miss what is happening in front of us. It's amazing to sit back and watch prophecy being fulfilled, but it is frustrating to see my own government--who is supposed to be Israel's ally--playing dumb about the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood. It also pains me to see Fox News--which I recently read is at least partially owned by Saudi Arabian interests (can anyone enlighten us as to who?)--actually apologizing for the what has been called the "Muslim Mafia."
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!!! God protect your people, Israel!!!
To gravenimage, who wrote:

Sura 96:
"Proclaim in the name of your Lord...who taught the pen (qalam), who taught man what he did not knew."
Since you allude to Biblical prophecy, RosettaStone, how about fleshing out the story a little? Maybe you could identify the players in the struggle that's building and describe how it will unfold and the final outcome, in, say, 500 words or less?
Dear Eastview and All,
It is 7:34pm and I just found your invitation to explain my comment. I apologize it is so late. I will compose it offline and be back shortly. Sorry for the delay.
Sincerely,
RosettaStone
Dear Eastview and All,
In the interest of full disclosure, the interpretation I’m going to give here comes out of my background as a Baptist. My early preachers considered themselves “fundamentalist,” and though a more “politically correct” title would be “evangelical,” much of Scriptural interpretation regarding prophecy is the same. This view would be considered Pre-tribulation and Pre-Millennial. I realize that some do not agree with that view, and if you will make me aware of a blog where that discussion goes on, I’ll be glad to meet you there.
I referred to Ezekiel 38 which tells of an attack on Israel. The prophecy is spoken against “Gog of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.” This was interpreted in the churches of my upbringing as Russia/USSR, with the names, Meshech and Tubal, said to be ancient references to Moscow and Tobolsk on one hand, and cities in the Crimea on another. Gog is also identified with Russia because Scripture says this enemy will come against Israel from the far North. Along with Magog, the names of Gomer and Togarmah are mentioned. This grouping is also seen in the Genesis 10 genealogy of Noah as descendents of Japheth, one of Noah’s three sons. Ethnologists believe these peoples migrated east out of Asia Minor, spreading as far as areas beyond the Black and Caspian Seas. In speaking of descendents of Magog, Dr. Chuck Missler refers to the Scythians, who “terrorized the southern steppes of Russia from the Ukraine to the Great Wall of China,” from the tenth to the third centuries BC. Identified as descendents of Gomer, Joel Richardson states the Cimmerians were a people of Cappadocia, part of central Turkey. Some believe they are the progenitors of the Germanic and East European peoples. The peoples of Togarmah, also descendents of Gomer, are considered to be from southeastern Turkey near the Syrian border.
Of the other allies of Russia in this attack on Israel, the one everyone seems to agree on is Persia (Iran). Others mentioned in Ezekiel 38:5 are “Cush” (the upper Nile region, roughly modern Sudan) and Put (northern Africa, thought to include Libya, Algeria, Morocco and Tunis according to Walid Shoebat). In Daniel 11, considered to be parallel passage, the “King of the South” is mentioned. This was always thought to refer to Egypt according to my pastors.
Ezekiel 38:13 mentions Sheba (modern Yemen), and Dedan, which is now believed to be located in Saudi Arabia along the shores of the Red Sea, west of Medina. Also mentioned is Tarshish, thought by some to be modern Spain or even England. These latter three seem to watching as the countries above attack Israel. Interestingly, in Daniel 11:41, it is mentioned that Edom (another area of northern Saudi Arabia), Moab (east of the Dead Sea) and Ammon (roughly Jordan) will be “rescued.” In a recent talk, Missler questioned whether Ezekiel 38:13 shows these three “nations” watching as Russia and it’s allies attack Israel, perhaps because they have been defeated earlier, or are in no position economically to join in.
For many years, the question was why Russia would attack Israel. It took the discovery of oil and industrialization to answer it. Like other industrialized nations, Russia has allied itself with countries that have extensive oil reserves. However, while Russia has been known to attack its own Jewish citizens, until the discovery of oil I’m am unaware of anything that would cause Russia to attack anyone so far south of its borders. The same can be said of what many believe to be China’s army (Rev. 9:16) of 200 million men. If they were not allied with Iran, Iraq, and the other oil-producing countries of the Middle East, I can think of no special reason why they would come against Israel. Yet all of these peoples are mentioned, and we can now see them coming together exactly as Scripture said they would.
Finally, I should mention the books I have used in preparing this. Dr. Chuck Missler is the author of "Prophecy 20/20," and is responsible for the information on the Scythians and Cimmerians. Joel Richardson’s excellent book, "The Islamic Antichrist: The Shocking Truth about the Real Nature of the Beast" is the source identifying some of the more obscure nations mentioned. Finally, "Jerusalem Countdown" by Pastor John Hagee provided the information on the migration of Noah’s descendents. I recommend all of these books which can be found at most good Christian and secular bookstores, or through Amazon and similar online retailers.
Question.
Do you - **can you** - pray...for the *redemption* of Russia, and of China?
Do you dare to pray, not just for the mere survival or persistence of the Russian and Chinese church, which has endured much persecution, but ...that it may grow, and grow, not only in numbers, but in knowledge and charity, until it truly functions as salt and light, and brings some measure of what Francis Schaeffer called 'substantial healing' to the societies around it?
Dear Dumbledoresarmy,
Of course you and I can pray for the redemption of Russia, China and any of the countries or peoples groups mentioned above. The Church (Catholic and Protestant) is active in many of those countries, and they and anyone to whom they are brave enough to speak desperately need our prayers.
However, that doesn't change the fact that God knows the end from the beginning. He knows who will accept His Gospel and who will not. He also knows what nations will rise against Israel. We can recognize what is happening without ceasing to pray for those who are and will be saved out of those nations. Out of His mercy, God may forestall His judgement and give them more time because of those prayers, but the identity of the players doesn't change.
Dear Eastview,
I don't know if you receive updates when someone responds. I have difficulty finding things on the screen sometimes, and wanted to let you know that I'd taken your suggestion seriously, and responded early this morning. I hope what I wrote gives the information you wanted. If not, feel free to contact me. Thank you for the invitation.
There IS a strategy to give Israel to the Muslims! It's called the EuroArab Dialogue and Bat YeOr wrote about it!
It was done 40ish years ago!!
