How Reza Aslan misleads about Muhammad's marriage to 9-year-old Aisha

Notice how Aslan, on pages 64 and 65 of his book No god but God claims that Muhammad did not consummate his marriage to Aisha when she was 9:

...Aisha...was nine years old when betrothed to the Prophet...And while Muhammad's union with a nine-year-old girl may be shocking to our modern sensibilities, his betrothal to Aisha was just that: a betrothal. Aisha did not consummate her marriage to Muhammad until after reaching puberty...

Reza Aslan's book also whitewashes the violence of Muhammad's caravan raids. Reza Aslan is untrustworthy, at best.

In the name of not wanting to make mistakes, I actually spent a lot of time and money reading a wide array of literature touching upon these issues and have yet to find anything in the core Islamic texts that refute what you're saying.

The following extract is transcribed from a talk given on January 11, 2011, at Notre Dame Fatima College, New York, by the world-renowned Tele-Shariaist and Professor of Comparative Religion, Prince Reza Pahlavi Asfan. Asfan claims to be a direct descendant of the last Shah of Iran, hence he has a claim to the throne, he says, which, if and when he gains it, will be a Sultanate, along the lines of the moderate Muslim Hashemites in Jordan. He will curtail but not eliminate the influence of the clergy in his realm, he adds, for Islam has a lot to offer the World. Moreover, the Ayatollahs are related by blood to both Hussein and Hassan, grandsons of the Prophet, and for this reason, he respects and salutes them, if not as Mahdis. then as living representatives of the Prophet Mohammed on Earth. The following rebuttals are against what Asfan calls the discourteous and misinformed comments published recently on Jihadwatch about the relation of Islam to music.

A BRIEF REFUTATION OF THE KAFFIRIST TAKE ON ISLAM'S VIEWS ON MUSIC (by Reza Pahlavi Asfan)

The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:

(1) “Allah Mighty and Majestic sent me as a guidance and mercy to believers and commanded me to do away with musical instruments, flutes, strings, crucifixes, and the affair of the pre-Islamic period of ignorance.”

Asfan: What the above line really means to peace-loving, moderate Muslims like me, is this. 'Flutes' refers to pan-pipes, which the horned, goat-tailed Devil plays; 'crucifixes' in the above quotation have nothing to do with the so-called cruxi-fiction of the great Muslim prophet Jesus (PBUH), but clearly refers to the "X" used to mark Satan (CUSAU--Curses upon Satan and on the Unbelievers-- pronounced, "Kus awe"). Other than this, Muslims have the greatest admiration for woodwinds in general--so long as they are played solo; woodwinds played together, as in an orchestra, is forbidden, because it reminds one of a Roman orgy, where group sex was indulged in by the lascivious kaffirs.

The great British post-modernist Muslim poet Salman Kustrib, who rumor has it will be shortly knighted by Prince Charles, has written a wonderful poem in chaste Farsi admiring the shape of the alto saxophone, which he compares to the male organ. I encourage you to read him. He writes better than Omar Khayyam, who can be accused of being a drunkard or even an atheist in some of his work in the fields of Mathematics and Astronomy. Blacks or the African Negroes, Kustrib writes in one place, are like Baritone saxophones, whereas the Caucasians (Europeans) are soprano saxophonists, shrill and inadequate. The Muslims are in the middle--altos: they have the best shape and tone. No wonder women swoon over them--this is main cause of the sexual jealousy of the Europeans and the mixed-race or mulatto Anglo-Saxons against them. To elucidate the point, let me quote from Oxford-educated Kustrib's award-winning poem entitled "The Jealousy of Unbelievers." This is my translation from the original Farsi:

They want to be alto, but alas, like little boys, they are soprano;
Blame me not, Kustrib, I am just a humble poet, if I may say so,
But praise ye all the Potent Allah, for it is He that hath made them inferior
In their beds of thorns they lie and lie and lie and pretend to be superior,
While we, virile lie we at night
On beds of pink rose petals, and make the women swoon,
Washed as we are by the silver light,
Of the ever-glowing, unwaning, unromantic crescent moon.

Point made. Case closed. Fini.

(2) “On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will pour molten lead into the ears of whoever sits listening to a songstress.”

Asfan: The true meaning of this line is often misinterpreted by Kaffirists and quoted out of context. Let me remove the blinkers from their pornographic eyes. In Paradise, the molten lead in the ears of those that listen to songstresses or sirens will be turned by Allah into mead, and, like the pistons of a steam engine, penetrate the ears of the jihadis with rhythmic sounds that stimulate the sexual organs and inflame the carnal passions of the martyrs so that they may know not just 72 virgins, but twice that number of raisins, and know them for days on end without stopping. This auspicious phrase, namely, "number of raisins" (al-Salik, r112.5) is falsely interpreted to mean "popping of the cherries" by ignorant Kaffirists like those found on the anti-Muslim forums and blogs like this one on the web.

This is a common mistake. I hear it repeated quite often in seminars and lectures by self-proclaimed authorities on Islam. But let me tell you what these words actually mean. Cherries are not found natively in the Middle-East, as you may know if you have visited there as a tourist or pilgrim or student. They just don't grow there; it's too hot. Dates, yes. Pomegranates are found in Iran. The above phrase about raisins or sun-dried grapes refers to the "the de-seeding of the dates" in classical Arabic--which none of these deluded Kaffirists know or care to study in depth--proving once more that they are filthy liars with a one-track mind, fixated on sexual fantasy, rather than the chaste truth. They twist, bend, rewrite, and doctor the words of the noble Islamic scriptures in order to proselytize and to prostitute the truth.

(3) “Song makes hypocrisy grow in the heart as water does herbage.”

Asfan: The above line can be profitably translated or rephrased (if you care to listen and are not a racist against the Muslim race) as: "Song (and by extension, sex, drugs, violence, and rock'n'roll) makes hatred grow in the hearts of men, as sewage does weeds." Muslims should avoid songs, especially pop music, and the songs of the devilish Black slaves called the Blues, under pain of death (beheading) and eternal damnation (hellfire). Thus saith the Lord God, not just of Arabia, but of the World, and Worlds, of Inner and Outer Space, of the Universe and of all the countless Galaxies unseen by the naked eye. This is a warning from Allah, the merciful. He knows everything. You don't. Get it? Or do you want me to explain why racism against Muslims is on the rise in the West, especially in America, with its misguided War on Terror, when the real enemy is the stealth crusade being waged everywhere, in the print media, on the airwaves, including PBS and the BBC, against the Muslims?

(4) “This community will experience the swallowing up of some people by the earth, metamorphosis of some into animals, and being rained upon with stones.” Someone asked, “When will this be, O Messenger of Allah?” and he said, “When songstresses and musical instruments appear and wine is held to be lawful.”

Asfan: The word 'animals' above refers to Jews and Christians, who will be turned into pigs and monkeys. Serves them right, since they eat ham sandwiches and bacon with their eggs for breakfast, and fornicate in public, like Bonobo chimps do in Africa. As for the Polytheists, including the atheists and agnostics, they will be (according to one hadith) turned into worms, toads, cockroaches, or house flies. Take your pick. But I won't belabor this last point, because the original Arabic is obscure on this score. Pregnant single mothers will be stoned to death, by the angels, led by Gibreel, who will cast the first stone, for he is without sin. You might want to note, if you care to that is, that teenage white girls who have lain with Negroes will be especially singled-out and placed first in line to receive Allah's punishment by the rain of stones.

And don't think for a moment that Iranian girls will be spared. First of all, the Iranians are white; we are Aryans. So teenaged Iranian girls will not be excused or pardoned by Allah, as I've said. Even if these girls are virgins, the merest suspicion that they've been seen talking to a boy or boys in high school is evidence enough to convict them. We hold Iranian girls to a higher standard than other non-Aryan girls, most of whom are immoral by nature--it's in their genes. This is one reason why the stoning of promiscuous Iranian girls is held to be the moral duty of every Iranian man, according to the mullahs. I don't speak for them of course. I'm a professor at a reputable American college and my Department is funded by Saudi donations. So far be it for me to support their stand against the existence of Israel. I am a prince not a commoner, and if the truth be known, I am, in my personal life, what you might call a quiet, hard- working, tolerant, non-violent, God-fearing person, which the majority of Muslims also are, for Islam is a religion of peace.

Besides being a prince with blue-blood and impeccable manners, and I do confess to these manners--chop off my head with an axe, or guillotine me, ha, ha-- I'm also a family man. I have three daughters, and no sons, regrettably, who would be my heirs, once I am king. But I've been to one of these mass stonings in Iran. Just for sociological reasons, mind you. And it was an exhilarating experience. I felt morally and spiritually uplifted when I left the stadium. And though I was there as an observer and didn't personally participate in the solemn rite, I felt closer to Allah than I had ever been before. I felt, what the Sufis say, how would you describe it, yes, I felt at One with Allah. You should go if you have the chance, just once. Just go and see. You might have a conversion experience. They won't stop you if you're male. Even if you're white. But Iranians are also white. So you can blend in easily. But get a tan, just in case. And grow a beard and put a turban on if you're afraid of having your throat slit and your head stuck on a pole in the bazaar. Grab some pebbles or sharp stones in your hand, just for show. Resist the temptation to throw them. I almost, in the excitement of the moment, and intoxicated by the Islamic fervor of the participants and spectators, threw a pebble at the condemned woman. Luckily, it fell short of its target. Whether I did it on purpose or no, it's hard to say now. But let's say the atmosphere at these events is infectious, like a riot at a British Soccer game, albeit a solemn, dignified riot.

Iranian Muslims are not hoodlums, as you may know, even though they might get very emotional, during Muharram, for instance, when they beat their chests, often with sharp instruments, and draw blood. Unfortunately or fortunately, the blood on their breasts doesn't turn into wine. Or they'd be drunk. No, no, please don't laugh. This is serious. I don't drink the blood of the prophet Jesus (PBUH), as the Christian do, nor will I ever drink the blood of babies, as the Jews do. This cannibalistic ritual is part of one of the so-called Protocols of the Zionist Elders or Senile Rabbis. I don't teach this book in class myself, because they'll falsely charge me with anti-Semitism. Nevertheless, I do appreciate the breadth of its documentation. This book seems to have been thoroughly researched. They should put it on the required reading list at Columbia University. It should fit right in with their syllabus in the Department of Religion.

But back to quotation #4. The last line can be rephrased thus: "When Janis Joplin and Gibson Les Pauls appear and Southern Comfort is held to be lawful." This last re-interpretation or deconstruction if you like is endorsed by the famous British Muslim Trotskyite Tariq Ali, who despite his avowed Euro-Communism, is not from the working class, but comes from a solid feudal landowning background, which he brags about. Not only is he not an atheist, but he is a true believer, only slightly less brilliant and urbane than the charming and handsome Tariq Ramadan. From what I've heard, these two valiant anti-Kaffirists were born in Gibraltar, Spain, just as that late great Columbia University Professor Edward Said was born in Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine, which was stolen by the Zionists from the Muslims, who have lived there ever since the prophet Ibrahim gave that land to them.

The truth is that Suleiman also was a great Muslim prophet, who was turned into a Jew called Solomon by the Zionists. The motive for this is obvious. You can see it quite clearly in the Zionist attempts to confiscate the Dome of Rock and turn it into a synagogue. Don't be fooled by the Kaffirists, who are basically ignorant people, hell-bent on promoting non-Muslim religions and ideologies. Their goal is to spread falsehoods about Islam among the nations of the world. Expose their lies wherever you find them. Fear them not. But don't debate them, because they will never get to the point. They'll go around in circles, begging the question every time, like Spencer and the other Kaffirist buffoons do. Let me expose one more of their lies, to illustrate what I mean. The Zionists say an Emir by the name of Solomon built a great, big Jewish temple in Jerusalem. But the historical truth, proven by major American and German archaeologists, is that this so-called Jewish temple built in Jerusalem in the Past was in reality a Muslim Mosque, destroyed by a Godless warlord called Titus from Rome. And just as in the past, today also in Rome, the Christian Grand Ayatollah, who calls himself Papa or Pope, meaning the Great Father, wants nuns and other women to discard their head-dress, even their protective coifs, cards, bonnets, hats, and black veils, whereas in former times, in the so-called Middle Ages, all Italian women used to wear the hijab or the burqua (habit). Now let me say this: If this obscene desire in the mind of the Pope, for the disrobing of innocent women, is not a jihad against women, then it is a stealth crusade being waged against the modesty, and let me add, against the smooth skin, hairless upper-lips, and soft flesh of Western females and altar boys by the child-molesting, perverted, and sexually-deranged Christians. May the day come soon when they will all become Muslims and walk the straight and narrow path and abhor wrong-doing and desist from committing evil acts and adultery. I pity them. But don't expect me to shed a tear for them. It's their own doing. They deserve what they get. The wombs of their women will bear no fruit. They are becoming a sterilized race. They are too politically-correct--they ought to embrace Sharia now, before it's too late. Liberalism is a mental disorder: Sharia is the cure.

And please don't get the mistaken idea that I'm promoting Sharia when I say this. It was an American Jewish savage who said that Liberals are insane. Speaking for myself, I personally have a deep respect for the American Constitution as a U.S. citizen. What I'm saying, and surely there is no slander intended when I say this, is that it's for the Europeans to decide their fate by, of, and for themselves, whether they want to be sick or well. Not the Wailing Wall, nor the Berlin Wall, mind you, but the wall that divides the truth from untruth, the wall between the undying Truth of Islam and the delusionary falsehoods and fabrications of the infidels (CUSAU), with their holy books that were written by weak, impotent, mortal men, not by Almighty God, the Omnipotent Allah, who alone is truly Great.

(5) “There will be peoples of my Community who will hold fornication, silk, wine, and musical instruments to be lawful....”

Asfan: No sweat. This one is very easy to translate in contemporary terms. Here goes. No charge. "There will be peoples of my Community who will hold romantic love, nylon bras and poly-satin panties, Johnny Walker Black Label whiskey, and the concert grand piano to be lawful...." These are the foul things the West values. No wonder the righteous and steadfast Muslims want to bring the House of War, the West, down and purge it by jihad from the stench of immorality that, like toxic fumes from their smoke-stacks, is corrupting the world and polluting Allah's green, not blue, planet Earth. Can you blame the Muslims for wanting to do what is right?

Reza Pahlavi Asfan, said in the Question and Answer session after his talk at Notre Dame Fatima College that he would like to see a new Fatimid Caliphate arise in the Middle East, along the lines of that which existed in Egypt in the past, founded as it was by the progeny of Maymun, who was of Iranian origin. El Kahira (Cairo), Asfan said, was founded by the Shiites. The first university in the world, Al-Azhar, was also founded by the Fatimids (969-1171 CE). What's more, the Fatimids built a Hall of Science on their palace grounds, to which scholars, including many Christian and Jewish intellectuals, came from around the Mediterranean, as bees to a hive, to discuss Astronomy, Mathematics, Medicine, Chemistry, and other sciences. They distilled alcohol for the first time in human history, invented the art of making perfumes, perfected the pointed arch in building, developed Algebra, and Arabic Numerals, which are in world-wide use today, and with their advanced knowledge of optics, ground glass into lenses, making possible the manufacture of eye glasses or spectacles, which is a boon to people with poor eyesight. Last but not least, the great Fatimid Caliph al Mutansir amassed a collection of books that surpassed in number the ancient Library of Alexandria's collection. Mutansir's library contained over one hundred thousand books made of paper, not papyrus, and they were bound in hard covers, not rolled into scrolls, as in the Greco-Roman period. In short, Fatimid Egypt was an advanced, enlightened, multicultural society as great, if not greater, than Al-Andalus (Muslim Spain).

Asked whether he (Asfan) would like to be the new Fatimid Caliph, given his royal blood, Prince Asfan said he would not, and could not be the Caliph, because, unlike the Ayatollahs of Iran, he had no Arab blood in his veins, not even a drop. His Persian ancestors never were Arabs, and he would never be an Arab slave, in mind or in body. "I am a son of Cyrus the Great. I am one hundred percent Iranian or Aryan, and proud of it," he replied, when asked whether he were an Arab posturing as an Iranian or vice versa. "And please don't compare me to that colonized Arab flunky Ahmadinejad, who has no right to be President of Iran, since he stole the last election from the Iranian people. Just look at his face. He isn't a Persian. He's a Sunni Arab baboon, a two-faced follower of Yazid and a secret admirer of that Shia-hating terrorist who goes by the name of Osama bin Laden."

Remarking on the present unrest (intifada) and political confusion in Egypt, Asfan said, "This is a golden opportunity for the Shiites to seize Cairo and turn it into the seat of a new Fatimid Caliphate. The warships sent to the region a few days ago by Iran, two of which have passed the Suez Canal into the Mediterranean, and three more, including one submarine, that are now docked at Port Sudan, awaiting orders, can be looked upon as naval support for the reconquest of Egypt by the Shiites. Our ally, Hezbollah, is ready, armed, and standing nearby to join in the mother of all battles for victory against the modern-day followers of the treacherous Caliph Muawiya, and his spies and agents--the Islamic Brotherhood. I wish President Hosni Mubarak was more like Gawhar, the great military general of the Fatimid Caliph Muiz who took Egypt. If he were, then the long-held dream of all the Shiites of recreating a great Fatimid Caliphate in Egypt would be realized. And just as in Córdoba, Sephardic, not Ashkenazi, Jews, and in Egypt, Coptic, not Roman Catholic and Protestant, Christians would be equal partners in the rule, administration, and development of this great new caliphate. The Israeli Question will also be answered, because this occupied land will be ruled as in the past by a tolerant, multicultural Fatimid Egypt, with Hamas controlling Greater Palestine (including Israel, so-called), as a semi-autonomous emirate or taifa, paying only an annual tribute in U.S. dollars to Cairo. Let it be known that the Shias are not anti-Semites. On the contrary, we have a lot in common and a great deal of sympathy for the Jews, who are waiting for their Messiah to appear, just as we are for the Hidden Imam to reveal himself and to save and to rule the World."

Finally, when asked what he meant by Kaffirism, Asfan replied, "Islamophobia is a fear of Islam. But fear is an emotion; it's irrational. Kaffirism, by contrast, is a rational socio-political doctrine, mainly of Conservative U.S. origin, that teaches, now that the Cold War is over, that Islam is a greater evil that Communism. In short, the Kaffirists, since the fall of the evil Soviet Empire, have replaced the atheist Communist Manifesto with the holy Koran as the chief object of their hatred, defamation, xenophobia, bigotry, and racism. A Kaffirist is anyone who demonizes Muslims and believes that non-Muslim religions are superior to Islam. Iran, as you may know, is in their Axis of Evil because it is an 'Islamic' Republic, nothing more. What the Americans forget, regrettably, is that during the Shah's time, Iran was both an ally of the United States and a friend of Israel. Hussein Obama knows this. That is why he is more sagacious than former American presidents have been recently, the most unwise being Mr. Bush. I voted for Obama. May he grant us our wish by removing the U.S. naval fleets from the Persian, not Arab, Gulf, and from the Eastern Mediterranean sea, especially off the coast of occupied Palestine (Israel). The flotillas sent to Gaza from Turkey recently were for humanitarian reasons, to help Muslims who are being starved to death by the Israelis. But they had another objective, as a reconnaissance mission. The real reason for the flotillas, and I don't want to hide it, was to test Israel's preparedness against a surprise naval assault launched by our ally Islamic Turkey from Turkish Cyprus. Hezbollah from the North, Hamas from the East, Fatimid Egypt from the South, and Turkey from the West. This time we will surround these Jews, and tie a noose around their necks from which they cannot escape. This time we will win, and we will do it without using the Shia Atom Bomb, Inshallah, for Allah is merciful, for Islam is not 'a' but 'the' religion of peace.....
