Spencer: Horowitz vs. Khan

Listen for yourself

In FrontPage this morning I analyze the heated and sometimes illuminating debate on Hannity's radio show Monday between Suhail Khan and David Horowitz:

[...] Amid all his fog of verbiage, Khan never denied that his father had been a founder of the MSA and was also involved in ISNA. He never denied that those groups were linked to the Brotherhood, or that the Brotherhood's goal in the U.S. was "eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within." He never denied that he had spoken at CAIR events, and came up with no convincing explanation when asked why he would have done so if he really shunned groups with any connections to jihad terror and the stealth jihad agenda of Islamic supremacism.
Consequently it is difficult, if not impossible, for any objective observer to take Khan's protestations that he is simply an ordinary American conservative, working for small government and fiscal responsibility. Imagine if the shoe were on the other foot, and a prominent American public figure, while active in the conservative movement, spoke at events sponsored by genuinely racist, white supremacist organizations (as opposed to those falsely characterized as such by a Leftist media bent on destroying its conservative opponents). Imagine further that when asked about these speaking engagements, this public figure grew indignant, charged that his interlocutors were engaging in a witchhunt, and claimed ignorance of the unsavory links of his associates.

How long would such a man last in the public arena without being called to account? How long would he be allowed to get away with dissembling, obfuscating, confusing the issue, and making counter-charges, instead of honestly addressing his associations and their implications? The Hannity Show featuring David Horowitz and Suhail Khan, if the mainstream media retained even a shred of the objectivity to which it pretends, would be the final nail in the coffin of Suhail Khan's reputation as a solid conservative and loyal American committed to Constitutional values. But Khan continues to be given a free pass, doubtless because of the thoughtless multiculturalism of today's mainstream journalists: he is a Muslim being challenged by non-Muslims? Then he is right and they are wrong, and he must be protected from their ignorant, racist, bigoted, hateful attacks.

Such is the state of journalism, and of the country, in this third year of the reign of Barack Obama.

Whatever your objections are to Khan, he must be viewed as a representative of the views of the ACU itself, as he sits on the board.

It is your individual right, and that of anyone else, to choose not to associate or align yourself with the ACU. The facts you present can be used by others to decouple themselves from the ACU, for a stated reason or no reason at all.

It is not unlike the UN where, for example, the worst abusers of human rights seek to populate the UN Commission on Human Rights. Those who seek genuine human rights can disassociate, and re-form some other untainted body.

If the taint cannot be removed then the body itself has been spoiled.

It is different when it is the government itself that has been tainted by the Muslim Brotherhood, or any other ideologically-inspired soles, that seek to erase the notion of protected individual rights, as against government, from our Constitution. There, one has to fight rather than disassociate.

I listened to the entire interview yesterday afternoon, and I'll tellya, as this blog's resident pessimist on PR, the surgical job done on Khan by Horowitz was masterful. I could not believe I was hearing this on a major mainstream media outlet, in this case Hannity's syndication for his show (millions of listeners every day).

Horowitz kept dragging the kicking and screaming Khan back to the... factual reality of his past behavior to the extent that it was obvious that Khan was lying his ass off and is to this day still a Jihadi, a Media Mujadeen.

From what I could hear, Horowitz took this taquiyya master apart limb-by-limb, lie-by-lie. I even thought I heard Khan gurgling in the background.

Khan's best shot was the part where he accused Horowitz and others like him spreading hate in exchange for big incomes. Speaking of factual reality, should the Moslems demand that the IRS perform a full financial audit of such Resistance activists?

Robert's first observation is salient: Khan's insistence that "there is no Muslim Brotherhood in the USA" is a negation of facts amply established in the 'Holy Land Foundation' trial and elsewhere. The front groups clearly exist - CAIR, the MSA, and the ISNA among others - and their policies and views clearly dovetail with those of the MB's. They continue to work tirelessly to "sabotage" our "miserable house"...just as the captured documents read.

Khan's denial is itself a proof of sorts...of his own perfidy and deception. Let's hope David has started something here that will develop an irresistible momentum...and that Khan - and perhaps even his mentor, Grover Norquist, will soon become personna non grata in the conservative fold.

Khan (aka Con-job Khan) continued to give non-answers and change the channel to wrap himself in the Flag which is usually the last refuge for sa scoundral.

Khan doesn't seem to care about his Mother's safety while she's at CAIR with all those Whahhabi thugs and Hamas supporters. So by default he's really saying that he's very happy for her and won't be harmed as if she one of them to be protected.
I love how he drags in Christians and Jews as if that will make his credibility valid , reminds me of the Bigot
and racist that claims they are one because they employ two minority people to do their gardening and house cleaning.....or that their sister is married to one.

Lots of people in 1857 had said they opposed the Courts ruling that Slavery could be Legally expanded to the all the 13 Colonies in the Union, but how many stepped forward to die for the Abolishion movement to end ALL slavery.
But I wonder what side Khan would have been on because he now washes his hands of CAIR and claims that "IF" CAIR has illegal issue or have broken the Law they should be Charged.

Nihad Awad is till on a CAIR video where he declares his support for the Arar's, but why wouldn't he...Maher's wife is a Palestinian with realtative in Tunisia that had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Maher was linked to the Boston Al-Qaeda friendly Mosque and had a 2nd home near the 9/11 Airport used that day.

The good news is that all those useful idiots that fall for Kahn's Con will be the first ones walking into the Slaughter House as they follow the Taqqiyah crumbs like sheep. This will help purge the gene-pool of the weak DNA's that are void of the Survival Spirit to be on guard to protect the Future by preserving the Freedoms and Liberties handed down by past generations .

CAIR and ISCA in Canada have loose ties to the Toronto-18 terrorist that wanted to slaughetr 1000's because the AMosques that produce them was near the INCA Office and that CAIR would NOT denouce them when Arrested, CAIR jumped to claim it was Racial-Profiling or just kids that would have never killed canadians.
But CAIR has a track record of only denying the Terrorist are Muslims after they get Convicted and are in jail.

If Grover Norquist married a "conservative" Muslim, he must have converted to Islam. Will some one ask Grover Norquist point blank if he is a Muslim?
