Tunisia: Jihadists murder Catholic priest

“‘These extremists are taking advantage of an exceptional situation to disturb national security and plunge our country into violence,’ the ministry statement said. It did not say what form of extremism it suspected.” Militant Christian fundamentalists, no doubt.

“Polish priest killed by Tunisian extremists-media,” from Reuters, February 18 (thanks to David):

TUNIS (Reuters) – A Polish priest was murdered in the Tunisian capital Friday, state media cited the Interior Ministry as saying, the latest sign of rising religious tension since last month’s revolution.

Mark Marios Rebaski was found dead at the School of Our Lady in Manouba where he worked, Tunisia Africa Press reported. His throat had been cut.

“The Ministry of the Interior condemns this act and regrets the death. Based on results of the preliminary investigation, including the method of assassination, it believes a group of terrorist fascists with extremist tendencies was behind this crime,” it said.

Protests against the authorities swelled into a popular revolt last month that created turmoil in Tunisia, forced President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali to flee to Saudi Arabia and encouraged a similar revolution in Egypt.

Ben Ali, who took power in predominantly Muslim Tunisia in 1987, had cracked down on the Islamist movement and political opponents and was seen by many as an oppressive ruler. Elections to replace him are expected by July or August.

“These extremists are taking advantage of an exceptional situation to disturb national security and plunge our country into violence,” the ministry statement said. It did not say what form of extremism it suspected.

This doesn’t come as a surprise to people who are following the progress of Islam in the Middle East and throughout the world. Knowing the last 1400 year of history tells you that democracy CANNOT come to Islam or Islamic countries. The culture and beliefs of Islam cannot accommodate the civilization of the Judeo-Christian west, it’s just as simple as that.

… a group of terrorist fascists with extremist tendencies was behind this crime.

In other words, a gang of activated and therefore agitated Moslems.

But that’s alrigiht, cuz after all, when Judeo-Christians get activated and therefore agitated, they immediate drive to someplace like Eden Prairie MN and snuff an Imam or two.

    …………………….

This makes no sense unless you acknowledge the role of Islam with these “terrorist fascists with extremist tendencies”.

All fascists are a violent, ugly bunch, but only Islamic Jihadists target Christian clerics, and consider throat-cutting a particularly sanctified form of murder.

Catholics get the worst of it everytime! They saved Europe century after century, and no one remembers or is grateful, and the very word ‘crusader’ has become a bad word (such is the power of oil money propaganda). Let us just say, without pointing the finger at exactly who the Crusader Haters are, that no good deed goes unpunished no matter how great the good deed done is.

“rising religious tension” occurs every time Muslims become dominant in the neighborhood…why is that?….Probably because the Qur’an tells them to do so…

“rising religious tension” seems to be occuring in Africa, Indo-China, Indonesia, Australia, Europe, South America, the Middle East, Russia, and North America…

When Muslims get involved in “rising religious tension” as so often is the case…violence is soon to follow..It’s an Islamic thing. Islam just cannot tolerate religious plurality and therefore all other religions must go…Islam will try to pursuade the non believers to leave through the use of violence and “rising religious tension”…

“rising religious tension” ….Islam turning the heat up…

These same Tunisian koranimals who go around slitting the throats of kaffirs and in particular a Catholic priest have the cheek to seek asylum in a Catholic country like Italy. The Italians should sink every boat that lands these koranimals on Italian soil so that they can’t go back and pick more of them.

I pray for that man…he was a brave soul.

When the hell are the Christian leaders around the world going to get out in front of this and get LOUD.
Here in America they are too busy hiding the State Legislators in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Sooner or later…a flash point. This I believe will occur when the polls show Obama having no chance of re-election. Islam will act then knowing it is their most opportune time.

    Praise the Lord–pass the ammo

I have read that Tunisia has a large Italian community, due to its proximity to Sicily. There must be a large Catholic minority, a point ignored by the MSM when reporting on “Arab” countries.

I had an aunt who was Sicilian and immigrated to the USA as a child. I later read in her obituary that my aunt was born in Tunis, Tunisia, to Sicilian parents.

There are also stories of a wave of boat people escaping Tunisia to Italian islands. Some people are not happy with the “revolution”.

Ah, he means Islam, you know, those blood cult worshippers of their moon-god Al-ilah, nom de plume, ‘Allah’, who are “terrorist fascists with extremist tendencies”.

Another Christian martyr falls to the evil god, and counting, as they had fallen for 1400 years. How many millions does it take before their ‘radical’ evil god Allah is damned?

“Extremist tendencies . . .” Those who tend to “religiously” follow the violent teaching of the Quran. Those who tend to take the Quran and the Sunnah/Haddith seriously. Those who tend to enforce Sharia law, which is a requirement on all Muslims unless there are not enough Muslims/Muslims in power to be able to enforce it with immunity. Those who tend to demand the supremacy, privilege, and plunder promised under Islamic rule (Sharia). Those “jihadists” who all other Muslims are required to support either violently, financially, or passively.

One of the first rules of war, which has been declared by the global jihad, is to know your enemy.

Notice this is almost exactly the phrasing you heard from Egyptian officials after the bombing of the Coptic church in Alexandria and other attacks on Christians.

No sympathy for the individual victims or the Christian community, but just a vague indication that such acts make the Muslim state ‘look bad’.
