Durbin hearing paints Muslims as victims, ignores jihad and Islamic supremacism

Durbin sells out freedom of speech and conscience in order to get the Islamic vote.

The growth of Islam means the death of civil liberties. It's time to resist, not sell out like Durbin.

This dhimmidiot Durbin panders for the muslim votes like the indian congress party panders for the muslim vote. As long as there are a sizable bunch of muslims around there will be jihad, stealth or violent or both. The muslims will play the victims every time.

When it suits the Muslims, primarily among themselves or in Islamic countries, then Islamic UNITY and primary loyalty to the Ummah over all other loyalties is emphasized, like Ihsanoglu of the OIC did. And Mohammed before him. How can Muslims ignore this?

But most of the time, in Democratic Nations, Muslims emphasize their DIVIDEDNESS, their lack of connection to "radicals, extremists, terrorists", so their complete innocence. From there they go on to the offensive, crying foul, victimhood, hate-speech, hate-crimes, racism.

But to the heart of the matter it goes to ask ourselves what it really is Muslims expect to happen in the 21st century. I think many of the Islamic leaders still have the goal of the spread of the adherence and power of Islam. Islam which they put above everything else, certainly above the nation they live in. And if necessary and possible by violent, deceitful ways, because the end justifies the means, for them.

And almost certainly they think like Anjem Choudary speaks; that Democracy is manmade and rotten and that it should be replaced by Islamic Theocracy.

I think that they are optimistic about this goal, and that they feel they have time on their side. And that meanwhile they overwhelmingly support other Muslims when these are in conflict with other Muslims.

That is understandable, but reprehensible it is that they still are so quasi-sensitive and offended denying all this. Towards a public that is in part aware and un-aware of true Islamic anti-Democratic goals. Perhaps thinking that deceit and laying low is in order and that their desired goal, God Willing, will eventually be reached. I bet they are made more arrogant in this by rising numbers of Muslims worldwide and especially in Kufr Nations and the powerful OIC.

But the Islam-wise people should let them know that the heart of their strategy is flawed. That now that Islam and Muslims are unmasked, and firmly monitored, it is no realistic global goal anymore for Muslims to subdue Democratic Nations. Or even to hold on to present market shares around the world without changing. That time, in essence, is running out for Islam and Muslims.

Democratic people are now extremely rapidly developing extremely smart and powerful computers and robots. And very well equipped very smart very Islam-wise people, and there are many of them, and they are growing in numbers and power, will block Islam. And they very well might cause it to decline steeply later on. Because of Islam-knowledge and anti-Islam motivation and awesome technology Islam and Muslims don't stand a chance anymore to win in the long run or even to hold on to present Market-shares peoplewise.

That could be the first message to all Muslims, especially those inside Democratic Nations. The message should be: give up on your Islamic Supremacy dream. Your only choices are between confrontation and cooperation with the Democratic community.

Cooperation somehow will eventually be much better for you. so also loyalty to democratic nations and their laws and enmity to all theocratical other Muslims and their laws. Even if you have to found a new Democratic Islamic ideology to transfer this loyalty.

Once the overall goal and motivation of a substantial number of Muslims changes, that part can be exhorted to join the democratic ranks, against the theocratic ranks. But as long as they overwhelmingly have these global supremacy-illusions, most will stubbornly cling to Islam and theocratic Muslim-organisations against the interests of the Democratic states and its citizens I'm afraid.

The Republicans didn't need to show up to this farse.

It's a complete farse to suggest that this nation is Anti-Muslim, hates Muslims or that anyone is putting forth an argument in any way against Islam and by attending, even if only to ask for more Muslim participation against Islamic terrorism, they endorsed this farse.

It's bone-headedly clear we are opposed to an ideology that endorses genocide.

If someone doesn't show up, that doesn't mean they approve of anti-Muslim bias.

Durbin is a total idiot.

New study debunks American "Islamophobia" myth
Last August I dug into FBI bias crime statistics to show that there is no significant Islamophobia in America,

The Center for Security Policy has just done the same thing, just more more formally and in a 40-page report. Of course, they have the ability to send their results to every member of the Senate.

The Center for Security Policy today released a revised edition of their groundbreaking longitudinal study, Religious Bias Crimes 2000-2009: Muslim, Jewish and Christian Victims - Debunking the Myth of a Growing Trend in Muslim Victimization, based on FBI statistics reported annually in the Uniform Crime Reporting Program. The Center's study contradicts the assertions that religious bias crimes against Muslims have increased, and that the alleged cause is widespread “Islamophobia” in America. In fact, the study shows that religious bias crimes - also known as hate crimes - against Muslim Americans, measured by the categories of incidents, offenses or victims, have remained relatively low with a downward trend since 2001, and are significantly less than the numbers of bias crimes against Jewish victims.

The Center's study also contradicts the assumption of increased hate crimes against Muslims which has been asserted by Senator Richard Durbin's (D-IL) Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on the Constitution, and is the topic of hearings being held today. Printed copies of the study were delivered to each member of the U.S. Senate early this morning.

According to the Center's analysis, in 2009, Jewish victims of hate crimes outnumbered Muslim victims by more than 8 to 1 (1,132 Jewish victims to 132 Muslim victims). From 2000 through 2009, for every one hate crime incident against a Muslim, there were six hate crime incidents against Jewish victims (1,580 Muslim incidents versus 9,692 Jewish incidents). Even in 2001 when religious bias crimes against Muslims increased briefly for a nine-week period, total anti-Muslim incidents, offenses and victims remained approximately half of the corresponding anti-Jewish totals.

The study provides hard data that disproves the counterfactual statements made by a small number of highly vocal Muslim lobbying groups, many linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as leftwing activists. Citing these false assumptions concerning America’s alleged “Islamophobia” and a supposed rising trend in hate crimes against Muslim Americans, these organizations argued against holding the March 10, 2011 House Committee on Homeland Security hearings on Muslim American radicalization, and have argued for today's hearings in the Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on the Constitution. The study shows that these arguments against the March 10 hearings, and for today's March 29 hearings, are not based on facts but rather on a political agenda.

I watched the entire 2 hours of Durbin's hearing and it was a boring love fest that answered no questions and sought no substantive answers on Islam in America.

It was clearly a leftwing propaganda puff piece that allowed for a few sad stories and did not address any issues head on at all. Durbin's propaganda show was literally void of the pertinent issues and problems that America is facing within on every front.

There was no follow up on almost all comments made by the carefully selected dhimmi witnesses who have obviously been subjected to the taquiya and kitman charm offensive by Muslims.

Any informed viewer must have considered this hearing literally a waste of tax payer's money. It offered up nothing of interest that one could even wrap their mind around whatsoever.

One of Durbin's witnesses is Cardinal Theodore McCarrick. He's as spineless as they come. His inclusion as an "expert" should tell anyone familiar with him that this will be a biased and unrealistic exercise in appeasing the politically correct bloc.

Since when did burning a Qu'ran represent anti-Muslim *violence*? While I am no fan of book burning, this *hardly* constitutes *violence*. It cheapens the severity of the word to use it here.

Durbin only cites Pastor Jones' Qu'ran bbq because he cannot point to any incidents of *actual* violence against Muslims.

Moreover, Durbin appears to understand *nothing* about the Bill of Rights—surely a disturbing thing in not just an American senator, but in the Senate Majority Leader.

The Bill of Rights is meant to prevent organized discrimination *by the government*—not to monitor the opinions of private citizens.

In fact, it is Pastor Jones' actions that are protected as a form of expression under the First Amendment, not the sensibilities of others who might be offended by such actions.

Durbin's whole exercise is a cruel farce.

As U.S. citizens we are guaranteed equal protection under U.S. law. The goal is not to conform our Constitution and Bill of Rights to Sharia law so as to allow Muslim privilege, but to give Muslims the same rights as every other U.S. citizen equally. People in the U.S. are free to believe whatever they choose, even supremacist ideologies, but they are expected as citizens to obey U.S. law. That means all citizens are to be equally prosecuted for committing crimes, crimes as defined by U.S. law, not Sharia law.

Under Sharia law it is "legal" for non-Muslims to be considered and treated as second-class citizens, to be taxed more than Muslims via jizya (infidel tax), to be denied employment with authority over Muslims, to be denied the right to marry Muslims, for women to be beaten by their husbands and sexually harassed/abused by Muslim men if their dress and behavior does not conform to Islamic principles, and the list goes on and on. These are merely Islamic principles codified and enforced by Sharia law. Islamic principles are derived from Muhammad's dictated Quran and his actions and sayings in the Haddith/Sunnah. Muhammad is the standard of Sharia law, whereas reasonableness is the standard of U.S. law. Therein lies the difference and the problem.

Whether we want to admit it or not, there is a global jihad declared by the "Muslim world," which seeks to conquer the U.S. for Islam. That means the imposition of Sharia law, enforcing Islamic principles on Muslims and non-Muslims alike. We have heard declaration after declaration by imams and Islamic leaders and jihadists warning the U.S. to submit to Islam one way or another and threatening destruction (conversion by the Sword as stated in the Quran and as Muhammad did it). Islam means "submission" and all Muslims are obligated to submit to Sharia law and seek to enforce it. When the global jihad finally declares the U.S. conquered for Islam (perhaps after destruction of major cities), all U.S. Muslims will be obligated by Sharia to enforce Sharia, just as all Muslims are obligated to support jihad either violently, financially (Muslim charities can only support Muslims and Muslim "causes" - jihad), or passively. Muslims who now only read, quote, and abide by the peaceful-sounding parts of the Quran and ignore Muhammad's example will then be obliged to follow the entire Quran and Haddith/Sunnah. Sharia law will enforce it.

U.S. citizens have every right to hate Islamic principles, they do not have the right to commit crimes against Muslims. Muslims have every right to believe in a supremacist "religion" of conquest, they do not have the right to commit jihad crimes (lawful under Sharia law but illegal under U.S. law) against non-Muslims. What U.S. citizens need to do is fight to preserve U.S. law against accommodation of Sharia law.

Is it discrimination to request to know how many immigrants,as pertaining to religion,are immigrating here in the west? I really do think it's time not to discriminate,per se,but to be discriminating in our (the west's) resolve of this barbarian vindictiveness..They made their bed,let them sleep in it..
