That frightening phrase yet again - DEVOUT MUSLIM.

Whenever you hear that description, look out below.

A "devout moslem". That statement is up there with the statement the neighbor always says after the psychopath next door goes on a rampage: "He was a quiet man, kept to himself". I thought that the Kosovo moslems were our friends! Didn't Clinton order the bombing of the Christian Serbs for them? We're finding out that was a mistake.

Where he was, no doubt, able to watch the comings and goings of American and NATO troops for quite some time.

Did he get the job at the airport with the express intention of using it as a base for Jihad, or did he—after noticing the presence of so many "Crusaders" there—realize that he was in a "target-rich" environment?

The reference to the shooter having been "radicalized over the last few weeks" suggests the latter, but who knows?

It may not even matter all that much. The Jihad imperative is strong in all too many Muslims, in any case.

Well, good for the German federal prosecutors for calling a spade a spade. Yes, the term "Islamism" is a bit squishy, but compared to the usual obfuscation we see in such cases, this is plain and hard-hitting talk.

Liberals and media outlets are now heaving a huge *sigh* of relief. He acted alone. No al-Qaeda membership was found on him, and we're stil *safe*.

Actually, these "army of one" instances are scarier than the jihad cells which are more likely to be on the radar of terror-watchers.

The "army of one" is a chilling reminder that your Muslim neighbor, clerk, student, etc. can erupt at any moment...and recent history is replete with examples. The remedy for the "acting alone devout Muslim" is to get rid of Muslims and their mosques in your country. If Germany can ban the Nazi Party and all vestiges thereof, the successor to the Nazi Party should also be banned. The stakes are too high.

Isn't that amazing, it is always a "devout" Muslim who commits these jihadi murders!!! And of course he is radicalized by going to an extremist web site!!!

Our grandparents' generation would have treated these people as hostile enemy aliens, and we should abandon all the politically correct crap and do the same. Potential jihadists must be removed from all jobs and environments where they can harm us.

Have you ever noticed "sudden jihad syndrome" occurs soon after "radicalization?" There must be something in the tea served at the mosque...

A devout Muslim, you say? How, then, did he come to misunderstand Islam so spectacularly? What are Islamic groups in Germany doing to make sure that no other young Muslim there misunderstands Islam in the same way?

I gather the second part of question is rhetorical?

There are three main components to Islam that all 'devout' Muslims must understand and obey:

1. The founder's proto-Arabian mythology parody of a Judeo-Christian monotheistic religion, dedicated to the Arabian moon-god 'Allah'.

2. The immutability of this 'religion' written into the Koran by Mohammed's successor Caliphs, disobedience of which will be punishable by death.

3. The spread of Islam by any means, by stealth and deceits or by force, including murder of the 'infidels', so-called, along with gains of Jihad glory and booty, and slaves, especially female slaves, for the procreation growth of the Muslim world.

Once you understand these three basic principles, the rest of it is merely filler, such as the five pillars, the many dietary restrictions, subservience of women to men, the Haj, etc. These are all mere technicalities, though to be obeyed in 'submission' without question. So for a "devout Muslim" to go on a jihad killing spree is not unusual, except in that it would be 'unusual' if it did not happen more often.

I wonder how many devout Christian Serbs have attacked US soldiers or personals. They have the most reason of all the different groups in the Balkans to attack the US, so many did? Where are all the mouthpieces of Islamic jihad in the Balkans who supported the kosovons?

He was probably just protesting at the humiliation and lack of respect he felt because there were no ritual foot-baths at the airport.

Actually none of them are murderers...As long as Mahoundians kill kufr for Allah, it is not murder, it is a grand and glorious action...Allah does not punish for this kind of behavior, he rewards it...Of course Allah willing the jihadi into the clutches of the kufr police and courts, is a strange kind of reward...But if Allah willed it, he/it deserves the credit...

The German authorities only reluctantly admit that this is a Muslim terrorist attack. But they can't help it, the perp admitted he'd been annoyed by the alleged behaviour of American soldiers, he'd watched some videos made up by Muslim groups. His motivation is self-evident, no doubt about that.

The Muslim answer is the correct answer to our problem.(i.e nothing that isn't Islam) We must outlaw any religion or political movement that condones Violence. We must Unite under a movement that states we will not stand for the taking of LIFE. Freedom to live without fear of injury must be everyones cause. No violence will be tolerated. Any faction, Christian Jewish Islamist Budist....(any)....will forfeit their freedom unless they are willing to denounce violence.

It's worth reading the lot; there's a fair bit of the usual obfuscation and denials from members of the jihadi assassin's family.

Most interesting snippet:

"The suspect’s uncle, Rexhep Uka, said the suspect’s grandfather was a religious leader at a mosque in a village near Mitrovica, and that Arid Uka was a devout Muslim himself."

So: this fellow did NOT come from a family of lax, nominal, 'secularised' Muslims. Not if grandad was an imam.
