Hizballah has already voiced its displeasure by causing the collapse of the Lebanese government in January, and staging "coup drills" in Beirut shortly thereafter. And that is before any information has officially been released. An update on Associated Press, March 11:
LEIDSCHENDAM, Netherlands -- The prosecutor in the assassination case of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri says he has filed an expanded indictment.
The indictment remains secret and the names of the suspects under investigation have not been released.
But Hezbollah, a powerful Shiite militia, has said it believes some of its members may be named, and has warned the case could touch off renewed bloodshed in Lebanon.
Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare filed his first indictment in January in the 2005 truck bombing in Beirut.
He said in a statement that an amendment he filed Friday "expands the scope of the indictment." He did not say how.
Special Tribunal for Lebanon spokesman Crispin Thorold says it may take months for judges to review thousands of supporting documents.
"But Hezbollah, a powerful Shiite militia, has said it believes some of its members may be named, and has warned the case could touch off renewed bloodshed in Lebanon."
We are peaceful Muslims. If you accuse us of bloodshed, there WILL BE BLOODSHED.
President Obama: Can you say "Bully 'religion'"?
"Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare filed his first indictment in January..."
Mr. Bellemare is Canadian, but I doubt that will protect him from the wrath of Hezbollah if he names names. I hope his life insurance policy is paid up.
If they were smart they send out information true or false on the people they either have proof of or are curious about and wait to see what (or whom) it brings out it might bring out some people that they are on the list but, of course it could bring some out of the woodwork that they dont then suck them in (dis-information rules) being Canadian they might opt out for arrest but might get lucky and "shot while attempting to escape" (simply apply their rules to the situation)
