Mortenson's books and his Central Asia Institute build schools for girls in Pakistan and Afghanistan on the theory that "books not bombs" is the way to fight the Taliban and has posed for photos with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Admiral Mike Mullen at the opening of a girls' school (presumeably built by US military personnel?). Mortenson denies Krakauer assertions that much of Mortenson's best-selling book was made up.

It is time for counterattack---definitely in “terms” and perhaps even image. The enemies have been using their own terms for too long to frame this existential battle. It puts you at an initial disadvantage as you have to counter the smear which takes up precious airtime. For example, to the charge of being an extremist, counter with, “I am a radical”. To the charge of being an islamophobe, counter with, “I am an islamloathe”. N.B. Esmerelda Weatherwax - one must deduce that she has another source of information - provided some extra info on the lady who has been threatened.

"She was born in Bangladesh, is an atheist married to a Christian and her employer is Hindu. She describes the threats as jihad."

In other words, this woman, who has defected from the Ummah and happily assimilated into British society, is in trouble with the sharia pushers not just because she refuses to wear the Slave Rag, but worse, because she is a. an apostate punishable by death) and b. married to a non-Muslim (also against sharia).

Among the comments there are a couple that speak, from local knowledge, of what the sharia-pushers have already been up to in that part of London, to wit:

I have made a full copy of this article and tucked it away in the e-clippings file that I devote to the subject of the burqa.

This is a good one to throw at anybody who wants to try to pretend that all Muslim women wear the Slave Rag of their own free will, out of pure religious devotion, and that no intimidation and threats are involved in the decision making.

One thing not obvious from the story above - are they targeting only Muslim women and gays, or are they now brazen enough to threaten all women & gays? Knowing the Mohammedans, I wouldn't rule it out.

Whoa, that didn't take long, did it?

Next up: How long will it be before lawmakers start to get concerned, and want to "encourage" the populace (the female part of it, anyway) to refrain from offending the poor lambs?

Time to carry out a few deportations I guess. Those making threats, and their entire families want sending back to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia or whatever craphole they or their ancestors came from.

Time to draw a line in the sand and rid Europe of these monsters. Send them back to their sandpits and let them devour each other. No more aid, no more military protection, just a willingness to ignore them and let them destroy each other. And those who condone muslim antics should be shunned and take lessons on the evils and pitfalls of this religion that destroys all human will.

The UK will never pass a law banning the burka - they are far too dhimmified.They need a leader the likes of a Churchill to restore their balls. But they didn't listen to him until it was too late.

This should be a lesson to all the fools who comfort themselves with the thought that since most Muslims are "moderate" in any given scenario for any given location in the West, things cannot get too bad.

The militant Muslims will always intimidate the moderates and come to dominate accordingly.

It's the minority militants that ultimately count, not the moderates, who will be cowered. Thus our spineless sell-out politicians will allow this domination to occur by not limiting Muslim immigration and the political influence of the stealth jihad militants while at the same time assuring the dumb public that they are not to worry since most Muslims are peaceful and moderate.

Gee, poor poor Allah, so weak he must get deluded men to carry out his supposed laws. The stupid pig should be able to do it for itself. So why bother with getting puny humans to do it unless he is Satanic in nature and somehow feeds on the deaths, pain, and destruction like some fantastic parasite.

Sadly, it makes his followers deadly dangerous. This is true even of moderate Muslims in name only. They get a dose of the Qur'an and suddenly they're trying to kill everybody.

Yes, I'm one of the naive guys who now finds this true, especially after working several years in Saudi Arabia, the source of Islam.

Generally when you show the average Saudi respect and kindness, you are in fact showing weakness and inferiority - giving the green light to be treated as an inferior - to be 'dominated'. This may be an extension of their stark, ruthless cutural / historical background. Arabs from neighboring countries have often commented on this.

The average westerner of course expects kindness and respect to be returned, and is surprised when it isn't. Of course, all cultures have their negative 'traits' but there seems to be an oversupply of aloof, evasive elusive individuals in Saudi Arabia. I did particularly note (from my own experience at least) that Saudis can change their loyalties from moment to moment - and that they rarely admitted a mistake when making one - perhaps to do so is a sign of weakness.

The Koran, and the conceived object of worship, Allah, embody all these traits; both are an extension of the norms, conventions, culture and character of the people in the region.

Hence the need to obey Allah - to get on all fours and bow repeatedly- Allah the master and believers the slaves. So, to state the obvious, it's not a matter of one's life being enhanced for the better when putting faith in the Koran and Allah - it's simply a matter of "You aknowledge Allah as your master, or else".

[Somehow, along the line, through delusions of the mind, Allah's resolve to enforce his will, his power, his armies, his desire to dominate,to destroy enemies, to subdue etc have been equated as 'compassion & virtue'].

This seems to be the mindset behind the enforced imposition of Islam in the West...and this 'wear a veil or else' etc seems to be just another example of this mentality.

In the absence of any proven, concrete existence of Allah, (the lives of millions of practicing Muslims have hardly been blessed, at the personal or societal level..the lives of militant Muslims have hardly been endowed with virtue and compassion, Allah has not presented himself and access to him is via appointed clerics, Mullahs etc) it seems the more militant Muslims are driven to act through a complex interplay of anger (at having devoted themselves obsessionally to unatural religious practice through thick and thin when the 'merits of practice' have not been realized) deprivation (through the outlawing of social, sporting, intellectual activities etc), envy (at seeing how westerners can become happy & prosperous without Allah's permission)deluded thinking,(from incessant religious practice) and to some extent arrogance, whereby they must prove in one way or another that they are superior.

Of course, thinking that the west is somehow responsible for the state of life they themselves have created, there must be an element of revenge residing there as well.

As mentioned in one of the earlier threads, pandering to them simply gives them the go ahead - the sign of weakness, submission.

The prime point I guess, is that there is no intervention of any Holy presence figuring in any of this. It is purely human behaviour, and behaviour at its lowest ebb. The attrocities committed against innocent lives is the reality, not the violation of the will of any conceived Allah, which ultimately has no substance at the level of phenomena.

There is no honour killing - just killing. There is no killing in the name of Allah..just killing. Has everyone become blind to this fact I wonder.

It's interesting to note what might happen if Islam is finally spread throughout the world.
I suspect everyone would not be living in peace and harmony as possibly expected, if everyone was regarded as equals. The militant Muslim would no longer have a purpose, to impose his will on another. His function is to dominate and subdue... and when all have been dominated and subdued, I suspect he will not feel fulfilled until he finds others to dominate and subdue. Whilst there is opposition, they have a role to play...once the opposition succumbs, then what. I suspect new branches, sects, factions etc would break free which would be regarded as being superior to others. To show superiority, one needs those considered inferior. Maybe the mission of worlwide domination of islam will bring about its own downfall, its own defeat.

In the photo accompying the article I noticed that Muslimahs were wearing headscarfs with colorful prints. There are websites that offer to print custom designs on the fabric of your choice. I wonder what the London Muzzies would think of one fashioned with quotes from the Koran and the Hadith concerning women? Say, women's testimony being worth half a man's, being deficient in intellect, wife beating, and so on. You could fill a burqa's worth of quotes, in a field of Islamic green dotted with the crescent moons and stars. Put them in their place with some stylish lace. Think the pharmacy would bring her back from holiday having met their demands sporting this garb? I would be willing to design the print in Adobe Illustrator, pay for the cost of the print, and fashioning it into a scarf, but need a little help compiling the quotes. Don't want to leave anything out. I have seen lists but they only scratch the surface.

the UK cops should go undercover, dressed as gays, and take care of the attacks on them. women cops should dress casually and wait for something to happen to them. I say make arrests and deport the slimeballs to afstinkestan
