On this occasion, I call upon all the Islamic movements fighting against the corrupt governments or the governments that serve as [foreign] agents to relinquish violence, except against foreign invaders, and to take up the path that has proven just, the path of peaceful struggle by means of marches of millions. Moreover, I call on the leaders of Al-Qaeda as well as its members not to carry out any violent actions against the Arab or Muslim peoples, or even against the European or American peoples, but to bear what the Americans did to the hero and martyr Osama bin Laden – as the path of peaceful struggle has gained international and popular legitimacy, and we must not harm it but follow this same path which has proven just..."

Yeah, I really believe that. Besides this statement containing the bread-'n-butter of Islam itself, viz., destruction and murder, it is cut from the same Iran/Khomeini imperialism.

Khomeini reiterated these views upon assuming power:
"The great prophet of Islam [Big Mo himself, -ed.] carried in one hand the Koran and in the other a sword; the sword for crushing the traitors and the Koran for guidance. … Islam is a religion of blood for the infidels but a religion of guidance for other people. … We shall export our revolution to the whole world. Until the cry “There is no God but God” resounds over the whole world, there will be struggle."

DDA, don't you think that a major problem in world politics is that leaders tend to project their own people's ways and ideas on others? I strongly suspect that one reason why American foreign policy has always been such a muddle is that we're led by people who think that it's only natural for people to put material interest first, value consensus and compromise as the heart of politics,and that nobody in his right mind has anything other than a live-and-let-live attitude towards spiritual and theistic tradition. It's why the Soviets and Chinese Communists were able to twist successive American presidents around their little fingers, and why smooth-talking Muslims are pulling the wool over so many American eyes today.
Dr Moro? I'm just curious. What's his doctoral thesis? The eternal dis-functionality of allah: A cross study of Kitman and Taqiyya in post modern Iran? I have no clue actually.
