Morris, you are correct in noting that bin Laden is but one of the heads of the Islamist hydra, but don't lump anti-globalist nationalists in with Muslim nutjobs. I'm a democrat, not an advocate of oligarchical global dictatorship which you seem to be suggesting is a good thing.
It's excellent news that al-Qaeda's head has been lopped off, but this is merely a symbolic, and somewhat empty victory. Just a couple of hours ago I was still nursing my baby daughter when my wife told me Obama(yes, Ob- not Os-) is dead, killed by U.S soldier she said, I was thinking finally there is an American soldier who loves his country more than his president, but it turned out my wife read the wrong name LOL, but I honestly think the death of either of them would be a good news to the world...

It's nothing, it's just my wife can't differ the name Obama and Osama. We live in Indonesia, you see, and so far she does not interested with any terrorist news or news about USA, so when the news of Osama death comes out in the internet instead of reading Osama bin Laden she (I dont blame her though, she had have a couple of hard days handling my kids) read it as Obama bin Laden, and she told me briefly: Obama is dead, killed by US soldier... and I just went: HAH?. LOL

Durotigan, you are assuming that "Morris Wise" is here being earnest—I can assure you, he is *anything but*. He is a notorious Muslim apologist who pops up periodically, then disappears for months at a time.
In the last few days he has been spamming the threads with posts implying that any standing for democracy and freedom and against Jihad is just a ploy to make money and spread "pornography" throughout the Muslim world.
Given that the Ikhwan is the parent organization of al Qaeda, what is surprising is not the Ikhwan condemning Osama's killing, but rather, a good portion of the West assuming a month ago that there's no problem w/ them being a part of the ruling establishment in Egypt.

The Muslim Brotherhood is *moderate* compared to the Salafists in Egypt. Luckily, the latter group is relatively small right now. True, the MB is no fan of the US. But that sentiment comes with the territory in the Arab world.
And I condemn the giving of financial aid to Egyptian and indeed Muslim ingratiates. You're not worth a single brass farthing from any infidel for your evil, misogynistic, barbaric and biogoted ways.
