While I agree that the birther controversy was a red herring of the first order (I speak as someone who once had to administer US immigration and nationality law for a living, and to prove Obama was anything other than a naatural-born citizen, they would have had to have proved that Stanley Ann Dunham was not his real mother), and would have rejoiced regardless of whose watch it was on that OBL got whacked, I doubt that I will vote for Obama.
A bigger worry for me is that our great ally Pakistan apparently gave our most wanted criminal a fine, big house right under the noses of all of its retired generals, admirals, and colonels in Abottabad; and that getting OBL was apparently an all-American effort without squat from the Pakistanis. As long as our campaign depends on such "allies", we'd best get out of Afghanistan ASAP now that OBL sleeps with the fishes.

In some way or many ways, every Muslim is a personification of Mohammed; OBL is just the most widely known. So, of course, Muslims are going to riot.
Because of their false belief system, every Muslim is an enemy of freedom. We just took out their top anti-freedom fighter. But in the grand scheme of things, it was just a knockdown; we need a knockout, and that fight begins at the root cause.
The war IS with Islam, no matter what our gutless politicians assert. Islam is our enemy. Islam is humanity's enemy. We need politicians/leaders who won't hesitate to state that fact openly and honestly.

In my case, it's complicated a bit more by the brittle internet connection I have, so that sometimes, while posting, the connection goes off. So I do a refresh, and if it doesn't show up, I paste and re-submit. The secret of this is a variation of Murphy's law - when you copy, things run smoothly, but when you don't, you sometimes lose it all.

Hmm, well: 800 protesting Pakistanis and a few Arabs in Jerusalem throwing stones certainly sounds like a very tiny minority of the 1.5 billion Muslims on the planet to me, Robert, so I don't quite see your point.
Don't be fooled . . . We will never know the identities of the members of Seal Team Six for their own sake and that of their families. They operate in total secrecy. Pamela has a great picture of their patch but they are not officially considered to exist.
