Mistah bin Laden, he dead

Osama bin Laden is dead. So what?

Osama bin Laden has gone to claim his virgins, and while that is fine news, it really won't change anything. The role of al-Qaeda in the global jihad, and the role of Osama bin Laden in al-Qaeda, have both been wildly overstated. Al-Qaeda is not the only Islamic jihad group or Islamic supremacist group operating today, and Osama bin Laden was not some charismatic leader whose movement will collapse without him. The exaggeration of his role, in fact, was a result of the general unwillingness to face the reality that the global jihad is a movement driven by an ideology, not an outsized personality, and that that ideology is rooted in Islam.

So Osama bin Laden, after years of silence punctuated by mysterious gnomic utterances delivered (how? by whom?) to the media, finally joins Generalissimo Franco in the ranks of the still dead. I will forthwith hoist a suitably haram beverage in toast of the happy news. And then it will be back to work. The jihad will go on, and so will I, and so, I hope, will you.

"Osama bin Laden Killed by U.S. Strike," by Dean Schabner for ABC News, May 1:

Osama bin Laden, hunted as the mastermind behind the worst-ever terrorist attack on U.S. soil, has been killed, sources told ABC News.

His death brings to an end a tumultuous life that saw bin Laden go from being the carefree son of a Saudi billionaire, to terrorist leader and the most wanted man in the world.

Bin Laden created and funded the al Qaeda terror network, which was responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States. The Saudi exile had been a man on the run since the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan overthrew the ruling Taliban regime, which harbored bin Laden.

In a video filmed two months after the Sept. 11 attacks, bin Laden gloated about the attack, saying it had exceeded even his "optimistic" calculations.

"Our terrorism is against America. Our terrorism is a blessed terrorism to prevent the unjust person from committing injustice and to stop American support for Israel, which kills our sons," he said in the video.

Long before the Sept. 11 attacks, bin Laden was known as an enemy of the United States. He was suspected of playing large roles in the 1998 bombings of two U.S. Embassies in Africa and the attack on the USS Cole in the Yemeni port of Aden in October 2000....

Seriously HAPPY DANCING here!! Wow...such awesome news.
I have no illusions because of his death, but I'll certainly celebrate it.

Maybe go hand out candy.

Wow, someone should ask Petraeus if this will put our troops in danger, as much or more so than burning a Qur'an.

Yea, what you said, Robert.

So Bin Laden is dead. I suppose the U.S. could say, mission accomplished and get the hell out of all the wars, but this will never happen because Al Qaeda even if it has 10 members knows which buttons to push and draining the U.S. treasury is high on its wish list.

Thanks for the clarity Robert. You are spot on. In the grand scheme it's good news but means nothing.

Rasool Obama will undoubtedly take credit for it...The death of Osama will get mixed reviews...A lot of Mahoundians idolized him, and they will not be happy about it...No one in Gaza will be dancing in the streets of passing out candy...If Mahoundians follow their usual pattern, they will first be stunned, then enraged, then riot and attack...Batten down the hatches, there is a storm brewing...

Injoy…….but you no longer with us you sorry excuse of a man …..you will be fallowed by friends like you …still alive trying to stiil kill…kill….kill doing what you taught them and committing more killings ….say hallo to hitler

So we will see all those Muslims who sre against Muslim terrorists dancing in the streets and distributing candies as they did on 9/11. Right??? Wrong!!!!

Oh yeah, they will be coming out in the strees demonstrating against us.

This is good news, but it comes about a decade late. In all that time jihadis have had bin Laden as an inspiration to follow, thinking, perhaps, that if he can do it and live, so can they, to continue to harm our world with near impunity; and if they are caught, they become heroes; if they die, they become martyrs. No real downside to jihad when things can drag on for a decade in the case of the world's most wanted man. Who's going to worry about some small player in Nowheresvillianistan? No punishment, no penalty, no pain. These people must be laughing. Obama bows and apologises. OK. I mean the jihadis must be sick from laughing.

I'll offer again one man's opinion, knowing full well what that's worth. Jihadis care about two things, one being their religion. We seem to have little luck attacking that effectively. Thus, given any chance at all, I suggest that those who can should aim at the other thing jihadis obsess over. Going to prison means nothing to them, and dying is just as good or better than praying most of the time. Hit them where it hurts. Take the fun out of jihad. Let them live a long time and let them roam free. Shoot them between the legs. That will make the next guy nervous. Who'd follow bin Laden if he'd had his balls blown off? Men, and women, would just turn away and not want to see him at all. Better than death.

I agree, so what, I mean, the Koran is not dead, or should I say the violent passages are not dead, or should I say the violent-passages-that-have-never-been-refuted-and-made-obsolete-by-a-verified-islamic-revelation-of-grace-love-and-forgiveness-to-ALL-people (and never will be refuted in the islamic context). May I remind everyone that the "violent" "verses" in the Old Testament are a RECORD of what happened, not an overt command to current day New Testament followers, in contrast to the Koran. Only if the Koran is completely reformed or made universally illegal (which is not going to happen) could we even BEGIN to say the Osama Bin Ladens of the world are dead. In other words keep pullin' weeds while the vast quantity of dandelion seeds continue to blow over from your neighbors yard and see how far you get. But for the P.C. it's "mission accomplished" nothing to see here, move along.

Obama is on now taking credit since he made this "a top priority" since taking office. Just ask Lyin' Panetta.

Obama, the senator famous for voting "present," voted against this war. He campaigned on ending both fronts in the war, and renamed it, dropping the word 'terror.' He vowed to close GITMO since it gave our enemies an excuse to hate us.

Now he's trying to jack up his ratings. He even had the audacity to call Pok-ee-ston our ally. What a fop.

What a great news ten years after 9/11!!

Bin there, done that.....wow what a way to end the weekend!

I want to hear the reactions and statements from the moderate muslims in the US, since they are every bit as American as Thomas Jefferson. I won't hold my breath though.

I knew Rasool would take credit...He also said again, that we are not at war with Islam, only Al-Qaeda...He also turned what should have been a short announcement into a campaign speech...

I don't know, I call bullshit.

It seems a little too convenient, if it's true, that the golfer-in-chief is taking credit for this when Bush couldn't find him for all those years. And like I told everyone of my kids who text-ed and then called me with the news in the last twenty minutes, it doesn't matter because tomorrow morning at 8:00am sharp there will be 500 guys waiting in line to audition to take his place.

'Sorry if I seem a little skeptical. But then the Gospel at mass today was on doubting Thomas.

Oh yeah, life is good in Napakistan!!!!

Touche, Medina.

Wish I had thought of that!

Bin there, done that.....wow what a way to end the weekend!

He also turned what should have been a short announcement into a campaign speech...
^^^^^^
For crying out loud, what was he whining about in that diatribe, somebody missed their free breakfast or something? This mistake has to end.

If we had a real general, this thing would have been over and won years ago and gas would be $2 a gallon.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: "Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Pakistan. a small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability."

Bullshit. Let me see the body. I want dental records too, if it's not too much trouble and it doesn't take 2.5 years, Mr. B.O.

Just imagine the surprise on ol' Osama's face when he realizes that Allah promised him "Virginians," not "virgins," and he gets his behind whooped on by 70 of them, beginning with Thomas jefferson and to the list's end.

Just imagine the surprise on ol' Osama's face when he realizes that Allah promised him "Virginians," not "virgins," and he gets his behind whooped on by 70 of them, beginning with Thomas jefferson and to the list's end.

Great news! But I want to know how the Muslims of the world are really reacting. How are the American Muslims truly reacting? How are the European Muslims reacting? Will they celebrate with us? Will they congratulate the US military? Some yes, but overall I have my doubts.

Obama says again that we are not at war with Islam. But I still say Islam, through its ideology and through most of its true believers, is at war with us, with our freedom of speech in particular, and with Western Civilization in general.

I wouldn't be surprised if Muslims rejoice over the news. After all, they do believe that he's just been sent to eternal paradise by the enemy (ie. us).

I wrote a similar article at http://thenewknighthood.blogspot.com as soon as I heard the good news. I was even going to use the Wizard of Oz song, but decided against it. Of course, I was humming it the whole time I was writing.

I have to say that one of the most disconcerting things about this whole affair was President Obama's address to the nation. He went out of his way to distance bin Laden from Islam (as if bin Laden was a closet Pentacostal, or something). No explanation was given for bin Laden's constant use of the Koran to justify his attacks, and I doubt that anyone in the media will be asking for one.

Watching Fox...is that what is called a flash mob? Strange thought...does the dancing in the street makes us just like the islamists who did the same following 9/11? Also, how is it possible that this news remained under wraps for a week when a little 'ol pastor in FL who burns a quran is front page news in afghanistan within moments?

And why announce on Sunday at 11:30 p.m.? Am I the only one with questions?

Osama bin Laden is dead. So what?

Couldn't agree more!!!

While Osama is busy taking credit for this, anybody wonder how he happened to be in a mansion outside Islamabad? After all, he was supposed to be @ large, fleeing from the Paki government, our 'ally' against 'terror'. So shouldn't he have been somewhere in Waziristan or Tora Bora, rather than in a mansion outside Islamabad? I remember this joke that Indians used to make about Osama residing in Musharraf's house. Okay, not exactly, but he's close enough to be a guest of some Paki bigwig or another.

Oh, and wait for Paki pols, including Imran Khan, to condemn this US attack on Paki territory, just like they condemned the drone attacks. I know this won't be the reaction, but the US should respond by bombing the homes of any Paki pols who condemn this US attack that took out Obama.

Whatever the future holds, I am savoring the moment now. Vengeance is an important part of justice. My sincere thanks to all our troops for their tireless efforts over ten years, culminating in this: we killed the rat bastard back.

This is great news....it is so satisfying to know it was our people who put a bullet in his head. For all the jihadist reading this right now I have only one thing to say....

LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note get ready for all hell to break out in the Islamic world. They don't want to admit it openly but Osama was deep down their hero, they are going to go nuts!!!!

Robert, will you now give al-Zawahri a promotion from second banana?

I wouldn't be surprised if Muslims rejoice over the news. After all, they do believe that he's just been sent to eternal paradise by the enemy (ie. us).

Bin there, done that.....wow what a way to end the weekend!

In his speech to the nation, Obama downplayed Osama's being a Muslim leader, and lied through his teeth, when he declared, with a straight face, that Osama had killed thousands of Muslims overseas and here.

Obama will always shill for Muslims, even while our proud nation is applauding our brave men in uniform who took a head-shot to a devil-incarnate Muslim who openly waged war with America. Obama did not utter a word of praise for our boys, but he did praise the duplicitous Pakis who were hiding Osama in the first place.

Even though Muslims repeatedly assert that they are at war with America, Obama, in his speech, went out of his way to say that America is not at war with Muslims, making us look like sissies. But, what else can you expect from a stealth-muslim like Obama?

I wrote a similar article at http://thenewknighthood.blogspot.com as soon as I heard the good news. I was even going to use the Wizard of Oz song, but decided against it. Of course, I was humming it the whole time I was writing.

Our Bonehead-in-Chief continues to get it wrong. Obama reiterated tonite that this is not a war against Islam. And newscasters are speculating that because the killing occured in Pakistan, this will create "problems" for that country.

Now if Obama is correct that bin Laden was merely "a psychopath", then that means Pakistan is a nation of psychopaths... and all Muslims who commit murders throughout the world AND the Muslim people who support them by deed or by silence are also "psychopaths".

How convenient, this obfuscation about all the millions of "misunderstanders"... but also how dangerous for us in the future of certain retaliation because our Boy-Blunder remains dishonest in saying who is against Western civilization and why...

We still have to get Zawahiri.

Beyond that, we should fear a return to pre-9/11 complacency. As Robert and others have pointed out, this changes jihad about as much as the deaths of 19th century jihadists at the hands of Europeans did. At best you get a truce for a little while.

Duh Swami is also correct on another point: Al-Qaeda is widely admired, and in Pakistan this will likely further destabilize the government there.

you think jones got a rise out of them when he burned the cur'an, watch this. these overgrown children are going to rage for days, and our troops over in the middle east are going to come under horrendous attack. all americans in islamist countries should be in fear for their lives. glad he's dead and am prepared for the blowback

Folks it is important. I don't want to defend Obama, he is a loser of epic proportions, but it does matter that we killed this man. We just killed their hero, we punked him in the land of Islam....and best yet we got his body! LOL! Muslims around the world will think we are doing all sort of "infidel" things to it, you know the imagination can do all sorts of tricks to a poor jihadi on days like these....

This is a big victory in the same way The Doolittle Raid was a victory in WWII.

And Buraq Hussein has already babbled AGAIN about how America isn't at war with mahoundianism, and that bin Laden ain't a real mahoundian, just a mass-murderer. Never mind that bin Laden lived as Mein Qurampf 33:21 instructs good mahoundians to live.

Buraq Hussein's thinking that America isn't at war with mahoundianism doesn't change mahoundians' absolute certainty that they're at war not only with America, but with everyone on this planet who can be referred to as a human being (an infidel, that is.) Over 200 ago, John Quincy Adams wrote about it with an accuracy that still applies to mahoundianism to this day:

... this was John Quincy Adams on Islam:

"Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST; TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE (Capitals in original)...Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. The war is yet flagrant...While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men."

And Adams concluded:

"As the essential principle of his [Muhammad's] faith is the subjugation of others by the sword; it is only by force, that his false doctrines can be dispelled, and his power annihilated."

This is great news of course. But I can't help thinking how much time was lost, how many Americans, Canadians, Brits and all other allies lives were lost - it shouldn't have taken so long - if in the days after 9/11 the entire Af-Pak border and its mountainous areas should have been bombed and flattened up and down over and over - this is where so many of those izlumic rat bastards were plotting and hiding and carrying out their murderous missions, maybe some of this loss could have been spared - but this is just my opinion

Booyah, Booyah---------See Yah!! Seal teams rock!!!----NEXT!!!

here here. Well stated Robert. Knock one back and see you at work tomorrow. Those of us who depend on you expect nothing less.

it shouldn't have taken so long - if in the days after 9/11 the entire Af-Pak border and its mountainous areas should have been bombed and flattened up and down over and over - this is where so many of those izlumic rat bastards were plotting and hiding and carrying out their murderous missions, maybe some of this loss could have been spared - but this is just my opinion

^^^^^^^
I second the opinion. Instead of protecting mosques, rebuilding mosques, holding phony elections, writing sharia constitutions, training the enemy--we should have been KILLING the enemy.

And anyone left alive could deliver their surrender to us, as the last Moorish kings submitted to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain. They wrote the game plan. Why couldn't we follow it?

Bury him in pigshite!

It's too bad that today isn't April Fools' Day. If it was, Robert could have written that the vast majority of US muslims, they being moderate muslims and outstanding Americans according to Rep King, poured out onto the streets celebrating and handing out sweets to all at this great news--bin Laden is dead!
One stick broken, one billion to go.

"But, what else can you expect from a stealth-muslim like Obama? "

I dont know, maybe order the operation to go ahead?

Increase the number of drone attacks in the tribal areas?

You know, crazy stealth Muslim stuff.

Seriously, can you people get any more stupid?

Obama was a bit late for his speech to the nation, because he was inconsolable and fighting back tears in the green room.

Some say Obama was late for the speech because he had to first make condolence calls to the leaders of the Ummah.

Hermes, you said:
"Obama was a bit late for his speech to the nation, because he was inconsolable and fighting back tears in the green room."
I'll buy that. What's done is done and Obama cried. What to do now? Taqiyya time.

I've heard that the body will not be returned, nor will there be a funeral or an identifiable gravesite.

I say we should bury him beneath an anonymous Iowa pigsty with his butt pointing toward Mecca and a slice of ham between his teeth.

RE: "Seriously, can you people get any more stupid?"

It is NOT stupid to point out that stealth-muslim Obama was actually downplaying the fact that Osama carried his 2 WTC attacks in the name of Islam, often quoting from Koran.

Hello flarov222. You axed,
"Seriously, can you people get any more stupid?"
Not the people here at JW. But there are "unwitting" dhimmis. Here is the response of Mr Sanity and myself.

The death of Osama bin Laden will certainly do nothing to slow down the global jihad. In fact it may motivate the Islamists to kill more furiously for “Allah” and make them strive even harder to institute and enforce the evils and injustices of the sharia around the globe...

Unfortunately, Osama was merely a devout Muslim who understood his religion perfectly. Al-Qaeda and other jihadi groups are by no means perverting “the religion of peace.” Islam itself is perverted religion of hatred and violence. The cult of Mohammedanism is sick and evil because Muhammad was sick and evil. Fortunately millions upon millions of people are discovering this fact with each passing year.

Now watch for the Muslims to try and twist and turn and take full advantage of this incident in the PC media. Those Muslims defending and promoting Islam are either tactically lying, or they are living in ignorance of their religion. There is no third category of Muslims...

The most disheartening thing is that some people are actually convinced this is a blow - let alone a finishing blow - to Islamic terrorism, as though we've defeated Hitler and his army is collapsing, as though the "war on terror" is now over.

I can't help but notice that Bin Laden wasn't hunted down in some damp cave in Southern Afghanistan - he was killed in a raid on a luxury mansion just 45km north of Islamabad.

Who knows how many other luxury mansions in Pakistan harbor similar thugs?

WOW

I can not believe the hate I am seeing ageist a humen being just done something [ he or some one else ] at least should be considered …good , right …no it is not done ….can't we celebrate before we start eating the flesh.

he is the siting president ….I am convinced now that no matter what obama done and will do it is always will deemed to be wrong in here ……

I wont to ask ….what will be the one thing that he might do to make people here at least say …..we do not despise him.

i think even if came out and said….Islam is a lie ….death to Islam…. burn Quran ….people here will find something to distrust and hate ….the disappointment is really overwhelming .

I say burn Osama's sorry ass in the Times Square, declare a national holiday, and pass out free beer to the crowd that comes to participate in the festivities, + let's invite some "carnival barkers" (that Obama talked about) to enhance the atmosphere of merry making: let's have some fun!

Naah, do what was done to Adolf Eichmann - cremate him, and scatter his ashes over some unidentified area of the Atlantic, so that Mohammedans have no place to go and pay homage!!!

But good decision not to return his body!!!

So, we are not at war with islam, fine.

Next up, Zawahiri.

Nothing is over, until islam is destroyed. J.Q. Adams had it right, and the current leadership had better take his advice. This will get serious fast, revenge is going to be the call from the followers of islam.

Hello fineliving56:
He is a man who has said Islam is a religion of peace. He also said that no religion condones beheading while beheading stares us in the face with Islam. He is stuffing the administration with muslims and willing dhimmis, and it seems he is loading up Homeland Security with muslims. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is a....DUCK. Do you want a lesson in tequila taqiyya?

Sanman

In fact, this is a part of a larger trend. Except Mohammed Atef, who was killed during the initial US attacks on Afghanistan, outside Khowst, all major al-Qaeda leutenants had been captured or killed in Pakistan!!! No, not in some ‘lawless, tribal, wild-west’ area in Waziristan or Pakhtoonistan, but in major Paki cities. Abu Zubaida was captured in Faisalabad, Ramzi bin al Shibh in Karachi and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in Rawalpindi (which is to Islamabad what Minneapolis is to St Paul). Now Osama in the capital Islamabad. All of these were in the top al Qaeda chain of command, and all of them were hunted down not in the areas that the Paki army claims is inaccessible (inaccessible, my @$$ – they have no problems having troops in NW Kashmir, which is geographically as hostile) but in the top Pak cities. Anybody thinks the Pakis would have had any problems hunting him down much earlier?

Exit question: How about having a prediction contest – which city do you think Ayman al Zawahiri will be captured/killed in?

(a) Islamabad/Rawalpindi
(b) Lahore
(c) Karachi
(d) Quetta
(e) Peshawar
(f) Faisalabad
(g) Gujranwala
(h) Multan
(i) Mardan
(j) Waziristan
(k) Other – none of the above, and maybe not even in Pakistan

So much for conspiracy theories - like that of Mansoor Ijaz - that he was hiding in Iran.

More importantly - the Osama compound was only a few kilometers (miles) away from a critical Pakistani military academy at Kakul.

Also, the compound was surrounded by the homes of retired military officials - in a city of about 1 million people.

"does the dancing in the street makes us just like the islamists who did the same following 9/11?"

No, it does not.

kuranimal civilians celebrated the murder of non-combatant civilians at the hands of their fellow kuranimals because the murdered were kaffrs.

American kaffr civilians celebrated the combat death of a self declared kuranimal combatant who was the mastermind of the murder of non-combatant non-kuranimal civilians and the inspiration for many more murders of non-combatant civilian kaffrs at the hands of his fellow kuranimal mujhadeens.

Fox news reporting that his (OBL) location inside Pakistan was known by our leadership from last August, and he was in a HUGE complex at that location.

So Mr. President, with the death of Bin Laden, does this mean we don't have to worry about you raising gas prices to $5 a gallon?

Fineliving, nobama is a socialist/marxist indoctrinated tool. He counts Bill Ayers as a close personal friend.

Bill Ayers was one of the leaders of a TERRORIST group called the weather underground that operated in the late 1960's here in the United States.

CLOSER PERSONAL FRIEND. I would hold any of my own family members with the same amount of contempt I hold for nobama if they counted TERRORISTS among their group of CLOSE PERSONAL FRIENDS.

Here is a transcript of an interview with a CIA agent who infiltrated this group:

http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=175213.0;wap2

Better yet, here's the video of the interview:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWMIwziGrAQ

After watching and reading keep in mind that I and my family would probably be among the "10% who didn't comply" and then come back and tell me why I should like anything about nobama who has called the man who would murder me and my family a "close personal friend."

And nobama did not kill bin laden. U.S. Special Forces with the aid of intelligence provided by England, Germany, France and Italy killed him.

Watch the video of nobama's speech about the death of bin laden. Watch closely his face when he claims he feels sadness every time he writes a letter to a family of a fallen soldier or has to look in the eyes a soldier who's been wounded. Watch his mouth. See the quick as a flash baring of teeth and snarl. It is contempt, not regret or sadness or truthfulness. It is contempt at having to hide his true feelings.

Correction:

Larry Grathwohl was an FBI informant, not CIA.

I think everyone is CIA except for Mulder and Scully, they're the only FBI agents.:)

"And nobama did not kill bin laden. U.S. Special Forces with the aid of intelligence provided by England, Germany, France and Italy killed him. "

Oh man, just when you thought it couldnt possibly be worse. Are there any sane jihadwatchers? This woman makes pamela geller look like a rational commentator.

Are you able to really believe that this happened and at the same time think the president was against it?

From the BBC news report "The US official said that intelligence had been tracking a "trusted courier" of Bin Laden for many years. The courier's identity was discovered four years ago, his area of operation two years ago and then, last August, his residence in Abbottabad was found, triggering the start of the mission."... Why did it take 9 months to gather a team to storm the place?

Could the fact that the Pakistani authorities were not informed about this imply there was something more insidious about just how "secret" the compound was?

The place where he was staying is just 200 metres from the Pakistan Military Academy - the country's equivalent of West Point or Sandhurst. There is no way on earth that the Pakistani government didn't know EXACTLY where he was.

What an insult to pig farmers everywhere!! Just joking--I used to drive by several stinking pigstys about 50 years ago and now will consider one of those the perfect resting place for his holiness. I rarely consume pork anymore but your description of him with a slice of ham in his mouth will remain as a visual imagined for a long time.

So what? Adolf Eichmann was irrelevant, obsolete, bypassed by events. He was STILL killed by the people he had wronged. What bin laden's death accomplished is, he has set Americans dancing in the streets for the first time in living memory. For THAT, I thank him. Now, if I can only find a mohammadan to offer some candy to. For some reason, there aren't many walking the streets of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA this morning.

Who then, collects the $5M or $10M bounty that was placed on his head late in 2001?

And yet, the throngs of the "majority of global Muslim moderates" remain conspicuously subdued on this day...

When ! Oh When ! Are Western politicians going to summon up the courage to actually challenge the false beliefs, aims and practices of Islam and Muhammad. When is one of them a going to say to Islam, "Your Allah was created in the mind of your delusional Prophet. The Quran is nonsense dreamed up in the mind of Muhammad" etc, etc, etc ?

Osama bin Laden was a poster-boy for the global jihad. His father's construction company funded his activities. The global jihad leaders despised Osama's playboy ways. If it really was him they took out (let's hope it was not just a relative double and he or the double will be found climbing out of the well to be the political Mahdi), it does not mean the war is over. It just means Osama's political usefulness ran out.

We forget that the global jihad is global and includes all those in power in the "Muslim world."

"Our terrorism is against America. Our terrorism is a blessed terrorism..."
...........................

Ah, yes—"blessed terrorism". And would that the barbaric Osama bin Laden were the only Muslim who believes Jihad terror to be "blessed", but he is not—far from it.

More:

The jihad will go on, and so will I, and so, I hope, will you.
...........................

Quite so. And yet—the fact that the architect of 9/11 had never been apprehended, and that he was still periodically issuing taunting communiqués—was always a major thorn in the side of the anti-Jihad.

The fact that we had ordinary Americans spontaneously gathering at Times Square, outside the White House, and at Ground Zero to celebrate cheered me.

That the crowd in Washington, DC included many University students from Georgetown and surrounding colleges cheered me, as well.

I had feared that many of them might spend their time following such an event "deconstructing the geopolitical repercussions of post colonial blah blah blah" or even demonstrating with the MSA *against* the actions of the brave Navy Seal team—to see them out in the streets, cheering and chanting "USA! USA!" has heartened me no end.

So—I believe this *is* a great moment. Yes, it's only a moment—but it is still great.

Bullshit. Let me see the body. I want dental records too, if it's not too much trouble and it doesn't take 2.5 years, Mr. B.O.

There has been a picture of the dead Osama online for about 36 hours. It certainly looks like him. This time the lying african is telling the truth. BTW: Don't think for a moment the Sp Op's team could chose when to take the shot. They took it when it was available and got almost directly between the eyes. Then they got out of there.

Join the Crusade and rid the world of pests. God gave of the atom for a purpose.
