John, I just hope the money we are pouring into this country is somehow linked to a strategy of getting these human beings to reverse the course they are embarked on before they reach the inevitable dead end. Civilization won't be able to pull them out of the hell they are creating for themselves and they will be buried. If that is our strategy than it's worth a few billion. I believe it is the idea, but Pakistan are fully aware of it, and are only interested in putting up a pretense of alliance against militant islam. This pretense is getting flimsier and flimsier by the day, and these blustering outbursts will become more common until we finally stop paying them "aid", and then I fear fireworks will start flying

There is only a few ways out of this crazy situation -
- if Pakies keep the Nuks, the talibans/Mullahs are ready to ignite them in a heart beat if given a chance;
- the ways out are .
. take each of their Nuk installation out using precision and surgical strikes: dangerous but it can be done by two countries Israel and us with very little risk;
. a Nuk war between India and Pakistan
the second option involves catastrophic effects to the world but the first option is less risky.
I would like to make a few points here:
A-> Pakistan is the easternmost frontier of the contiguous Islamic world.
B-> Islamic world has been aggressively expansionist for 1400 years
C-> Is it any surprise that they cant tolerate a certain entity called India that has the gall to even HAVE THE strength to fight off Mohammedans all the way to Arabia? Or Israel? Shouldn't non-Mohammedans be passive and roll over?
This whole thing is a civilizational struggle. Kashmir and Palestine are just excuses.
This will go on for years, and years, and years.... unless the scourge of Islam (not just Pakistan, the Arab states, mind you!) is exterminated.
There will come a time when Mecca will have to be bombed into oblivion, I am afraid. It is only looking increasingly likely because of Muslim aggression towards free people of the world.
We live in an age where information is available in real time, unlike the Middle Ages where the free world couldn't come On time to the aid of a civilization under seize from the Mohammedans (Byzentium, Persia, Balkans, India...).
Nor were they informed of Muslim atrocities in faraway lands to understand that Islam is completely removed from all human decency and genuinely fear for their own prospects.
Is it any wonder that Europe didn't come to the aid of Christian Byzantium? Or that the powerful Hindu states of India dint come to each other's aid and let Arabian Islam plunder them, one by one?

there's no answer for Pakistan. If you defund or otherwise cut off relations then the troops in Afghan have their supply route cut off and the 100+ nukes in Pak are up for grabs. Until the troops are pulled out of Afghan the U.S. is trapped as is.
