Maybe he just didn't like the food. "Bristol police charge Saudi student in bomb threat at RWU," by Donita Naylor in the Providence Journal, May 9 (thanks to Block Ness):

BRISTOL, R.I. -- The suspicious person arrested at Roger Williams University on Thursday was a Saudi Arabia man studying English, police said Monday. They had been called to investigate a possible bomb threat.

Lt. Steven Contente said Abdulrahman Khalid Althuwayb, 25, asked for food service at the dining center before it opened Thursday morning. A dining supervisor said that Althuwayb was served, and he was asked to come during business hours next time. Two university employees told police they heard Althuwayb say, "OK, don't worry, today is the last day, and tomorrow I blow the walls out."

Bristol Police took him to headquarters and charged him with making a bomb threat or similar false report. He was arraigned in District Court, Providence, on Friday. Surety bail was set at $10,000. He was unable to post 10 percent in cash or property worth the full amount. He was referred to a public defender and awaits a July 8 felony screening....

Superpowers no longer fight one another, their energy is now focused on defeating psychopathic loners. They are the drug lords and cult leaders who have at their command thousands of drug mules and suicide bombers. It is difficult ferreting them out; most super villains live in places where even roaches or rodents do not dare go.

"OK, don't worry, today is the last day, and tomorrow I blow the walls out." (The clown studying English)

But how can 'today' be his last day? He still hasn't mastered the 'will' future. It should've been, "... and tomorrow I'll blow the walls out."

(You'll notice that on his T-shirt is a picture of one of these talking eagles sent by the Israeli secret service to spy on Muslims. I wonder if the eagle's grammar is better than his. Probably!)

The Religion of Peace strikes again, with sudden Jihad. A Yemeni is banging on the cockpit door, and a Saudi student is making bomb threats: who let these Islamic turds come to the U.S. on a visa?

Saudi student?

The cost-benefit ratio of permitting immigration form islamic utopias into the states is unacceptably high.

Death to islam

A rare muslim with a sense of humor and they bust his butt.

"they heard Althuwayb say, "OK, don't worry, today is the last day, and tomorrow I blow the walls out.""

Sounds like he's been studying the Qur'an...

OHH...thanks for sharing that...

On topic...Abdulrahman must have been aware that since the Islamic idol Binni left the planet, Americans are being extra vigilant and such a remark would be taken seriously? Looks like the police did take it seriously...

The university is named after Roger Williams, an early proponent of separation of church and state. This is not compatible with islam, so any mahometan bomber would consider it a worthy target.

"a Saudi Arabia man studying English"

English Literature? Or the English language?

I hope his English studies included "Customs and traditions of the American prison system 101.

who let these Islamic turds come to the U.S. on a visa?

That would be a State Dept geek reading an application approval written by a professor. In other words, visa approval is by a globo-socialist at either end of a delivery of a letter sent via U.S. mail delivery, or an email sent via the Internet.

It's call multicultural enrichment. If you can't beat them, bring them on in and endure them. Expensive and a little dangerous, but gratifying.

............................

Typical Muslim behavior. Demanding a favor, and then following that demand with a homicidal threat.

This vile Arabic man thinks he owns the world and all humanity amidst his extreme arrogance in aping his leader, the Arabic PREDATORY Pedophile rapist, robber, slave-owner (including sexual slaves such as young Jewish captive girls), and mass murderer of the Jews, Mohammed! I hope the sentence will be heavy - unless Caliph Hussein Obama might appeal that such heavy sentence is being 'racist' and might offend his beloved Muslims, the Saudi king and Islam!

Can you say... permanent deportation?

The clueless Muslims and their lowly apologists can never wash the blood off of Muhammad's hands or scrub clean the sick evils of his politico religious cult...

Sudden Jihad Syndrome!

Glad they bagged him before switched courses to Chemistry and began acquiring the neccessaries.

. .that should have read 'before he switched'. .whatever. He'll know better in future not to jest about such things, if indeed he was jesting. .

Yeah, London. I often wonder, myself, how many "engineers" I trained at Al Faisal University will surface, hell-bent on utilizing their newly acquired Kafr learning...

Cheers!!

I wondered about that, too, Tom. What was Abdulrahman Khalid Althuwayb even doing at a university named after the founder of the first Baptist church in America and an ardent champion of the separation of church and state? One wonders at the circumstances of his being there. It's difficult to imagine that Althuwayb, a Saudi, would have chosen this particular university of his own accord, so how did he end up there? Was he perhaps recruited by the university in some sort of perverse attempt at religious outreach? Maybe they thought that the environment at RWU would be conducive to conversion. If so, the trustees should earnestly pray and ask God's forgiveness for being such idiots.

Slightly OT, but I wonder: Can insurance be obtained against Islamic terrorism? Does anyone know? Insurance companies are among the most hard headed realists when it comes to assessing risk, which is determined according to fact-based statistics. Insurance can be obtained against all sorts of natural and man made disasters, so why not material damage cause by Islamic terrorism?

Check out the local paper's whining Muslim defender:

American Arab said:
1. I find it very hard to believe that an ELS (English Language Student) would be able to formulate such an "Americans' way of speaking" sentence like ""OK, don't worry, today is the last day, and tomorrow I blow the walls out."" It just sounds like it came straight out of a video game by a really evil character.

2. As an American (and Saudi) myself, I know that most of these Saudi students try hard to integrate themselves into the American culture, learn to speak without an accent, and socialize with others.. They really do try VERY HARD to have others look at them as who they truly are, not like what the media tells them to.. (news articles like this, maybe?) that brainwash others to believe that each one of them is a "potential" terrorist?

I cannot simply digest the fact that this guy could have expressed anything like that in any way. I feel like I'd want to laugh, but again, I see someone behind the bars cause he shares my skin color. Don't we all play Call of Duty and shoot the brown people? Heck, I do too!

3. Did someone simply not "like" him? Was he harassed or did he step up to defend some right of his? Something tells me this "verbal threat" had been fabricated as a form of revenge..

4. Someone in law enforcement is looking for a raise! They know he's no terrorist, but if he ends up even falsely ruled as one, there ya go, it's on their record! A lot of these students are under surveillance them moment they step foot into the airport.. They know NONE of them are terrorists the moment they apply for their student visas.

5. Why is his mug shot made available to the press right now? Is he "ALREADY" deemed as terrorist? What if the court rules he's innocent of all charges?

And my response:

"American Arab

It does not surprise me in the least that you would think this speech is normal, American vernacular:

"OK, don't worry, today is the last day, and tomorrow I blow the walls out."

First, take your little tin foil conspiracy hat off (you too, Harold J), he really did say those things, and there was probable cause to arrest him.

Second, he is a Muslim. He may try hard to integrate, or, better said, try to appear as American as the next guy, but he knows that non-Muslims are not as good as Muslims and the staff of the dining hall, and probably women, to boot, were obviously worthy of his blustering derision and parting shot. Notoriously thin-skinned.

More tin-foil kuffar-hating nuttery. Now the simple dining hall workers simply didn't like him, and harbored some lasting grudge against him, which caused them to (no!) serve him food anyway and then advise him to come during business hours. Call the Hate Crime Police!

...or are the Hate Crime Police just out looking for a raise, too?

You don't belong in this country, I don't care how American your paperwork is. You don't think like an American. Everybody here can see this guy didn't like being told what to do and lost it, trying to scare them all so he could show them how he'd been humiliated by their simple instruction. You, however, seem to think that people just have it in for the Saudis somehow. Sounds like a really nice guy. Can't wait for him to go home.

And here's a clarification so you stop using the "we're not all terrorists" line: We don't like arrogant supremacist racist thugs, boors and fools. We don't like people who look down on us because we're kuffar. We don't like meeting people who think nothing of insisting their female family members live under black tents and don't get to leave the house without a male family member and further, do nothing to protest or change that dynamic. So, no, we don't think you're all terrorists. But I don't like meeting Ku Klux Klan members, either. They may never lift a finger against me, but I wholly reject their ideology.

They don't tell you that to you face in your town, do they?"
