WASHINGTON -- A Marine Corps reservist arrested for suspicious activity near the Pentagon last week has been charged in connection with a spate of shootings at military sites in the Washington, D.C., area last fall, federal officials said Thursday.Yonathan Melaku videotaped himself shouting "allahu Akbar" after firing shots at the US Marine Corps museum and documents concerning bomb-making were found in his home, FOX News reported....
The 22-year-old Marine Corps reservist, who is a Muslim believed to be a naturalized US citizen originally from Ethiopia, was arrested by US Park Police last week with a backpack full of suspicious items.
Melaku fled from law enforcement when he was approached at Arlington National cemetery early Friday. During the chase, he dropped a backpack, which contained spent 9mm shell casings, clear plastic bags containing a powdery substance, spray paint, and a spiral notebook containing references to the Taliban, al Qaeda and Usama bin Laden, among other references to terrorism.
An FBI chemist found that the powdery substance was mostly ammonium nitrate, FOX said.
A search of his home turned up a list of items used to make an improvised explosive device, or IED, as well as a laptop computer holding documents concerning bomb-making, FOX reported. Officials also found a videotape showing Melaku repeatedly firing a handgun while driving near the National Museum of the Marine Corps.
According to FOX, he says in the video: "That's what they get. That's my target. That's the military building. It's going to be attacked." He also yells, "allahu Akbar" repeatedly after firing.
Forensic evidence linked him to five shootings at four military buildings in October and November of 2010, FOX News reported Wednesday.
The D.C.-area shootings occurred at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Marine Corps recruiting centers, and at the Pentagon, where windows were shattered just before 5:00am on Oct. 19, 2010.
FOX reported that the cost to repair the windows and exterior of the Pentagon after the Oct. 19 shooting totaled $15,144. Damage resulting from two shootings at the National Museum of the Marine Corps was $83,985.
Meanwhile, the US Marine Corps announced Thursday that Melaku, who held the rank of Lance Corporal, will be processed for "administrative separation" from the Marine Forces Reserve due to an unrelated "grand larceny" charge....
The statement noted that Melaku had no record of misconduct when he was admitted into the Marine Corps....
And no one would have dreamed about questioning him about his beliefs and loyalties. That would have been "Islamophobic."

Through the prism of the opinion programming news entertainment industry, allahu Akbar means "God is Great" and does not mean "Allah is Greater" cuz the former is more palatable to the obsequious posture maintained by the Bill "Taking Care of the Folks" O'Reillys of the world.
This is a key operational distinction for them. To name is to know, to know is to control. To inaccurately name is to lose control, and our news entertainers do NOT want any control around exposing Moslems for what they are.

How much more proof our politicians,law enforcement and MSM need that one can't trust any Muslim. They may live in USA but they have no allegiance to this country. They come here from all those Islamic hell holes as immigrants or as asylum seekers and once they are here they become citizens of this country in due time and then they start their real purpose of being here which is to terrorize and kill non-Muslims. We see this pattern in all these attackers or would be attackers and yet our clueless politicians and MSM are not willing to do anything about it.
Send all these people back to where they came from. If they can't live like civilized human beings, they have no place in our country. If our politicians and MSM don't like this policy they can also move to these hell holes. I am sure we will all be glad to raise money to buy one tickets for all of them!!!

I wonder whether any of the reporters covering this case will do some digging to find out when, exactly, he took out citizenship?
And it would be worth knowing what mosque or mosques he has frequented in the course of his time in the United States, starting from the day he stepped off the plane.
Ideally, his citizenship - he obviously swore a false oath, just like the Times Square would-be jihad bomber - would be revoked, and after serving whatever jail sentence is imposed for his assorted crimes, he would be sent back to dar al Islam - though I wouldn't send him back to majority non-Muslim Ethiopia where their large Muslim minority are already causing far, far too much trouble for the resident non-Muslims as it is. Somalia or Northern Sudan, that would do nicely.

On second thoughts, given that he's a Muslim from Ethiopia, North Sudan and Somalia are too close to home for him; he would probably try to return to whatever Islamified sub-district of Ethiopia he originally came from, so as to go on waging Jihad.
Drop him off in Afghanistan in the clothes he stands up in (after his jail time is finished), sans passport (that American citizenship he obviously despises, should be cancelled), and leave him to the tender mercies of his dear brothers in the ummah, to find his own way home, IF he can.
And just to make sure, give all his identifying details to the non-Muslim authorities in Ethiopia, and advise them that if, like a bad penny, he turns up, they would be best off NOT to let him back in. They can use their discretion as to ways and means of preventing that re-entry.

Having shot at buildings, and having had plans to attack the Pentagon, he should be tried in a military court. IF found guilty, he should be summarily executed.. by hanging on a pig fat laden rope until dead as an example to all these treasonous people. This should be viewed by all muslims who are now put on notice here, Europe and elsewhere that we have had a enough.
He probably filmed himself because he was making a home movie, to do some show and tell for his house guests:

With a name like Yonathan, I suspect that this guy converted from the Coptic Church to Islam. Send him back to the Amharic parts of Ethiopia, and see how he is received. Something tells me that Amhara Copts don't look too kindly on apostates, either. If Melaku heads for the Ogaden, I doubt that the Somali nomads will be too nice to him, either. After all, see how nicely Muslim Arabs and Fur treat each other in Sudan. In China, Uighurs and Hui cordially hate each other. The Fox news article has a couple of quotes from the FBI which shows the level of contempt it has for intelligent Americans and of its own covering up for the Islamic cartel:
