Jihadists yet again play clueless and ignorant Westerners for fools. "Srebrenica was an Inside Job" by Andy Wilcoxson in the Balkan Report, June 15:
In the wake of the July 1995 fall of the Srebrenica enclave, thousands of Muslim soldiers and draft eligible men were killed or went missing. Some were captured and summarily executed by Bosnian-Serb forces, and others died in combat.Western governments, news media, and the U.N. War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague have assiduously misled the public about the nature of the massacre; at the same time they have remained conspicuously silent about the role U.N. officials and the Muslim regime in Sarajevo played in orchestrating the massacre.
Srebrenica's Fall Could Have Been Prevented
Yasushi Akashi, who at the time was the special envoy of the U.N. Secretary General in the former Yugoslavia, said the U.N. had "limited capabilities" and could not prevent the fall of Srebrenica. He told the Associated Press, "There was a hundred of U.N. troops versus thousands of Serb troops. What could we have done?" [1]
According to the Dutch battalion of U.N. peacekeepers who were deployed in Srebrenica, quite a bit could have been done. They were authorized to call in air strikes if the enclave was attacked, and when it was attacked they did indeed call in air strikes, but they were blocked by the U.N. until it was too late.
According to the debriefing of Dutch Battalion personnel, "The battalion was counting on massive air support...air support was requested around 10.30 hrs. [on July 11, 1995] Then, despite all of its promises, the U.N. still failed to release air power."
The Dutch Battalion's report states that, "Both the battalion staff and the rest of Dutchbat are convinced that the fall of the enclave can be attributed to a distinct lack of support from the air; the limited close air support did not arrive until the battle was actually over." [2]
Even without the U.N.'s help, Bosnian-Muslim president Alija Izetbegovic's regime could have intervened to stop the fall of the enclave and subsequent massacre, but they chose not to act either.
Sefer Halilovic was the commanding officer of the Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina during the war. He was the most senior officer in Izetbegovic's military and he testified under oath at the UN war crimes Tribunal in The Hague that "the command of the 2nd Corps and the General Staff knew when the operation on Srebrenica started, but from a series of testimonies, the people who were in Srebrenica, both from military and political structures, we can clearly see that they asked for help, both of the command of the 2nd Corps and the command of the General Staff and President Izetbegovic, but that they did not receive that assistance. To answer your question whether they had the power and materiel to help, to come to the help of Srebrenica, I think that they did." [3]
Even though Srebrenica was abandoned by its supposed protectors at the U.N. and by its own government in Sarajevo, the Muslim forces based in Srebrenica should have been able to defend the enclave themselves. Instead, on July 12, 1995, they fled the enclave with the rest of the able-bodied men and abandoned Srebrenica's women, children, and elderly to the mercy of the attacking Bosnian-Serb forces.
Although UN Military Observers (UNMOs) were uncertain of the exact number of Muslim military personnel in Srebrenica, they believed "that at least half had side arms as well as heavy machine guns, light mortars, and anti-tank weapons including rocket propelled grenades and more modern ones." [4]
The Command of the 2nd Corps of the Army of Bosnia Herzegovina (ABiH) prepared a report detailing the operation Srebrenica's men undertook to flee Srebrenica across Bosnian-Serb territory to Tuzla. Their report said, "Numbers were not established when the column was formed, but some estimates put the number in the column at 10,000 to 15,000 people, including approximately 6,000 armed soldiers, not counting soldiers from Zepa." [5]
According to UN Military Observers, at the time of the attack the Bosnian-Serb Army's "Drina Corps was known to be stretched in terms of resources" and the strength of the Bosnian-Serb units surrounding Srebrenica was "1,000 to 3,000 infantry with up to 20 tanks as well as artillery and multiple launch rocket systems." When Srebrenica fell, the UNMOs estimated that the local Bosnian-Serb brigades "probably have around 1,500 infantry in total" and together with reinforcements from units stationed in adjacent areas, the total strength of the Bosnian-Serb forces around Srebrenica was "probably no less than 2,000 infantry." [6]
Even if they hadn't been abandoned by the UN and by their own government, 6,000 armed Muslim soldiers should have been able to fight off 1,000 to 3,000 Serb infantry men.
When the Bosnian-Serbs attacked the enclave, UN Military Observers were stunned that the Muslim army didn't attempt to defend it. In their report they state: "The ABiH had the force ratios to defend the enclave particularly considering its hilly, wooded nature." They went on to write, "The advantages militarily seem to have been with the [Muslim] defenders to at least hold out for longer and have inflicted greater losses on the Bosnian-Serb Army than believed. However, the ABiH leadership seems to have actually acted against their own interests to carryout a successful defense." [7]
Dutch Battalion personnel in Srebrenica were surprised when Muslim troops in the enclave did not avail themselves of the weapons they were offered. On the morning of July 6th 1995 battalion personnel "Informed the Bosnian government forces that, if the Bosnian-Serb Army crossed the enclave boundary, the arms in the weapon collection point in Srebrenica would be released. Later, when this situation did indeed occur, the Bosnian government forces did not avail themselves of this opportunity." [8]...
There is much more. Read it all.
UN documents praise Serbia for engaging in the Dayton process, after the Srebrenica incident (ICJ records no mass grave with more than 20 deceased, many of whom could have been killed in action). Summary Justice is permitted during war, and was widely practised by bosnia-muslims and their al-qaeda allies. As for the alleged massacre, foreign media record senior Serb officials supervising a process of placing muslims on buses for removal from the combat zone. At most there were a handful of Summary executions of suspect terrorists. The Clintons later used Srebrinica atrocity propaganda as a pretext for "pre-emptive" war. American media never challenged the official story.
On a personal note: I had a Serbian landlord at the time of the Kosovo insanity, and was warned that if the muslims were served, they would both set up a narco terror base aimed at destroying the Euros who aided them, and destroy Serb and Christian artifacts. Both occurred. We fought for the wrong side. Terrorism? A US smart bomb destroyed a passenger train, and killed hundreds of Serbs.
The Obama administration's Justice Dept. is pursuing our own CIA operatives and hasn't a clue as to what went on in the Srebrenica incident? What a scam.
The article is very disturbing, and begs the question of what the motivation was for Clinton to have intervened so strongly in favor of the Bosnians. Is there an irresistible urge for US presidents to use military power during their office, or is there a more direct reason? Clinton was a rogue, but I don't see the political or personal profit for him to have carried out military actions in Serbia and Bosnia, so I am genuinely perplexed.
I always knew... I always knew... yet Hollywood & U2 immediately threw their propaganda in full swing in the 90s and made the Christians out to be the horrific killers. The Muslims... all along... the Muslims.
"We fought for the wrong side."
Exactly so, Rob. We can thank Pres. Bill Clinton, Sec. of State Warren Christopher, Dayton negotiator Richard Holbrooke, and General Wesley Clark (later rewarded by being appointed to be the NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe) for dragging NATO (which means the U.S.) into this.
Madeleine Albright, as conflicted and nasty a human being as ever there was, also played a pivotal role in this conflict by egging NATO into the fight, and is famous for saying "What’s the point of you saving this superb military [of NATO] for, Colin [Powell], if we can't use it [referring to its use against Bosnian Serbs]?" And so they did - and got not only a Muslim Bosnia, but a Muslim Kosovo carved out of the heart of historical Serbia, as well. The machinery was also set up to whitewash Albanian Muslim atrocities during the conflict, and to demonize and prosecute Serbian nationalists as war criminals. And we see how all that is working out, don't we?
One can only hope that a day will come in the constant churn of Balkan politics when the historical Serbian homeland will come together again, inspired and protected by the strong arms of Orthodox Christianity. There's nothing written in the stars that says that the outcome of the Battle of Kosovo on the Field of Blackbirds in 1389 isn't reversible.
I thought this was old news. What is missing is that it was muzlims that attacked the village, NOT Serbs as thought. I have friends that were nearby and state it was common knowledge that the muzlims murdered their own to get German help. It worked. The muzlims have a word for it, the art/act of deception and just used that here. A few dead women and babies has no meaning to them that butcher their own daughters.
As to clintoons need to become involved I have heard that the Saudi's have some incredibly incriminating tapes that old billy performed in on a visit to the pedophile kingdom. Who knows. Look at the decadence in his appointees.
The evidence is there never war a Srebrenica massacre of 8,000 Muslim civilians.

> "We fought for the wrong side."
I've been saying that for years... ever since the TRUE reports of the war started trickling out via conservative blogs.
When this war was going on, I found it confusing and hard to decide why we were in the war. But I realize now, a lot of the confusion was due to the constant stream of lies we were being fed by the U.N., U.S. Government (Clinton) and the Media.
Now we know that, like Afghanistan, we were arming and/or fighting for the Muslim groups that would eventually be shown to be connected to Al Queda/OBL and would be in direct war against the West and U.S.
And our traitorous president is now involving us in another similar war in support of Islamists fighting Qadafi in Libya. There are no "good guys" in this fight, and we should have sat back and let both sides weaken themselves. Instead we have chosen to fight for the Al Queda backed rebels.
The "Arab Spring" in general will not bring true democracy to the region, but will simply enable Muslim Brotherhood and Jihadist groups to have stronger influence/control over these nations/governments.
When will we learn?
The unspeakable evil England, US and other Western democracies did unto the Serb Christians. The evil.

This would be almost laughable if it were not so disgusting and disingenuous! I just thank God that none of you are in a position of real influence. Denying the Srebrenica Massacre is just as disgusting as Ahmadinejad denying the Holocaust. Why don't you guys actually try reading a reputable book on the breakup of Yugoslavia and stop reading kook conspiracy theorists.
Great great work from Andy Wilcoxson. None are as knowledgeable on this subject. The only comment I would make is that "breakthrough attempt" and not "fled" is the correct way to describe the column's movement from Susnjari to Nezuk/Baljkovica as this was a military manoeuvre. At one point, the column posed a terrible threat to the town of Zvornik and every able bodied person was armed by the town's authorities.
My tuppenny-ha'penny's worth
Some of the attempts to crowbar the "genocide" myth into the events concerning Srebrenica/1995July take on the truly bizarre.
Firstly, it became paramount to play down the casualties of the column, made up of about 15,000 men of fighting age, that launched a military manoeuvre, a "breakthrough" attempt, through Bosnian Serb territory at the same time as the women, children and elderly had made their way to the UN base at Potocari.
Estimates, immediately after the remnants of this column had made it to "free territory" in Tuzla, of the casualties suffered put it in the 3,000 region. Now whatever the casualties were they have to be deducted from the total missing which has been put in the 7,000 ballpark.
If you look closely at the numerous ambushes the column suffered and you can put it far higher than 3,000. The ICTY has done basically no research into this aspect of the fall of the town and put the casualties at less than 2,000. No surprise there.
These casualties were legitimate of course as admitted by the numerous ICTY employees in the Srebrenica trials at the Hague.
To give an idea of how horrendous it must have been on this column
a) The men had enough food and water for a couple of days. This military manoeuvre took over 5 days and many took several weeks.
b) The path took almost 100km through dense forest, mountains, deep ravines. Most of the men had no idea about where they were going as they were not from this part of Bosnia
c) The column was hopelessly divided. The leadership of the 28th division ( that's the division that was based in Srebrenica ) had left the town some weeks prior and discipline and morale had plummeted. Not only did the military and civilian sections of the column start killing each other but the numerous brigades within the 28t division started to kill each other too. So bad was the feeling that even today, many of the civillians are convinced that the army got them lost on purpose and had made sure that the civillians half of the column had become stranded behind the Nova Kasaba to Konjevic Polje road.
d) Manymany decided to kill themselves rather that surrender. A Bosnian Serb soldier who helped clean up the area, termed "asanacija" in Serbian military terminology, spoke of the trees being full of Bosnian men who'd hung themselves.
e) Mine fields were everywhere, having been laid by both sides.
f) The Bosnian Serb artillery used the motarollas that the column were using to rain down deadly accurate fire onto them
g) At Baljkovica, on the border between the Bosnian Serb Drina Corps and the Bosnian Muslim 2nd Corps, the column tried unsuccessfully to breakthrough by launching human waves of starving soldiers at the dug in elite Zvornik Brigade soldiers. Finally the Zornik commander Vinko Pandurevic humanely allowed the front section of the column through.
And so on and so on.
No wonder the ICTY just didn't want to know the true casualty rates of the column.
By the way, the demograhics of the town's Muslim missing were found used a system that had never been used before. And it's never been used since. Now why go and do something like that? That 7,000 number is highly suspect.
And here's where the funny side of the prosecution case comes in.
The most important pillar of the prosecution's case was the intercepts they claimed the Bosnian forces ( largely Army but the Bosnian Secret Service, the AID supposedly eavesdropped too )
Put simply the eavesdroppers
a) recorded interesting conversations onto tape
then
b) wrote down these conversations onto paper
and from then
c) finally onto computer.
Now think of those TV shows, "Law and Order", "CSI", etc where even the samllest hole in the evidence gets the whole case thrown out, when you read the following.
The most important thing you've already noticed is that this evidence was collected by the Bosnian Serb's sworn enemy. Not some impartial third party aloof source. Now the Bosnian Muslims slaughtered their own civillians in Sarajevo just so they could get a couple of sympathetic lines in the MSM so what are the odds of them forging/tampering this evidence?
a) the 100 odd notebooks that the eavesdroppers wrote what had been recorded have absolutely no chain of evidence. For three whole years.
I'll say that again. From 1995 to 1998 nobody has the slightest clue where these notebooks had been, who had authority over them etc. These notebooks represented the middle part - b) part - of the eavesdropping process that linked the taped conversations with the final computer version, Not only that but they were found in a warehouse in a cupboard. Nobody knows how they got there who put them there, etc.
Can you imagine that in one of those forensic drama shows?
This evidence of course was all accepted by the court. No problems.
b) The tapes used were already 10 years old. They were in such short supply that they were reused over and over again so much so that previously recorded conversations could be heard over later recordings. The quality was all but horrific.
c) They were so short of the most basic equipment, one group of eavesdroppers testified that he'd use pieces of paper and was quite jealous of the AID eavesdroppers because they had notebooks.
d) The antennae had been fashioned out of road signs and plastic drainpipes. Oh yes it had.
e) There was so much animosity between the military and secret service eavesdroppers that the AID personnel were convinced that the Bosnian Muslim soldiers were vandalising/sabotaging their equipment. The ABiH ( soldiers ) on the other hand were sure that the AID were there just to spy on them.
f) Because the recordings very rarely captured the Bosnian Serb officers giving their names, the eavesdroppers would sort of guess who was speaking. One testified that he did this by the particular sound a certain telephone would make. Others noted the crackle a particular line would make. Many would claim to be so knowledgeable of the various senior Bosnian Serb officers voices they would make the ID on the sound of the voice. On one of the most important conversations used in the trials was one made of Lt Col Beara ( Very senior intelligence/security officer for the VRS Main Staff ). Now the particular eavesdropper had ID'd Lt Col Beara from his voice only and had claimed he knew this officer's voice like he knows his mother's. Now Lt Col Beara hails from the Dalamation coast along the Adriatic and they used many Italian words when they speak. They should obviously stand out a mile. Yes, you guessed it, the eavesdroppers was completley unaware that Lt Col Beara spoke like this. Completley unaware.
g) These eavesdroppers had were almost all untrained or had the most rudimentary training, with virtually no experience of this kind of work, were terribly overworked working insane shifts and were terribly undermanned. The NIOD Dutch report into Srebrenica calculated tha the most basic skeleton staff needed would have been over 100 yet the Bosnian Muslims numbered a mere handful.
So the next time you watch "Law and Order" and the prosecution team are all getting worked up because the chain of evidence is not quite complete just let out a derisive laugh.
Silly me. Ljubisa Beara was a Colonel not a Lieutenant Colonel.
