Are they being released early, or after time served? If the former, then I'd have to say the UK government has lost its everloving mind. If the later, and it's a concern that they havn't changed then I don't know- maybe they shouldn't be released? Perhaps there should be some system put into place through new laws suggested to and voted on by the public to allow for the continued incarceration of those who are still threats (if there isn't such a law already, which in that case should be used).

Perhaps a release program that comes with a free body bag. No crowding space in jails, no worries about tracking terrorists and no money spent on their upkeep.

Not just the security services, but the British taxpayer funding the mahoundians' welfare checks (which also end up as remittances to their relatives in Porkistan and Somalia) and free upscale housing.

In less politically correct, much less wimpy times & places, a proven terrorist was hung, not given a few years in prison to look forward to resuming activities. A dead terrorists is not a problem. Live terrorists, like the ones described above and about to be released are a very expensive problem. But the Brits are so civilized and sensitive that instead of dead terrorists they would rather have innocent dead Brits in little blood-covered pieces. A small price to pay in their minds, I guess, to avoid all the stupid condemnations they would have to endure for disposing of caught terrorists.

As the ancient Greeks would say, "Against a man's stupidity even the gods are helpless".

I do not understand the dynamics of the British system, which gives light sentences to attempted mass murderers, and then paroles them to the street. I'm not talking about agreeing or disagreeing with it. I don't understand it.

Could someone with knowledge of the matter let me know how the British system functions like this? One can generalize about the decline of the British character, socialism, etc, but there must be some specific dynamic which mandates this type of extremely dysfunctional action by the British authority.

It would be interesting to see a list of all the "services" and the amounts that they are cut. One would think that keeping dangerous criminals locked up for their full terms would be one of the most important services that government could provide.

You all think British justis is weak and pathetic, well you need to come and see what they do to you if you drop litter on our streets, or have no road tax on your car. And watch out if you struggle to pay your council tax bill. You commit any one of these crimes and you risk losing you car your home your liberty. So don't go thinking just because none of that applys to radical muslims that we are a push over..... unless your a radical muslim.
And as for the 70 bomb jackets there releasing...it makes no differance, this country lets them in by the thousand every month. Huh whats another 70!

Also in Tower Hamlets, which is now run by an Islamic Council, street names are being changed into Urdu and homosexuals are being asked to refrain from appearing on the streets in public. Gay-free zone stickers are appearing throughout the borough, but this is not mentioned by the BBC or MSM because in the wonderfully wacky world of Political Correctness, Islam trumps homosexuality.

There should be a law in UK that stated: Any muslim who commited crime in the name of Jihad or Islam or Allah shall be punish by dead, the punishment should be conducted using gun with swine blood or swine feces covered bullets!.

No resources to protect the public from terrorists that set off bombs in public places like they did on 7/7. But they do have resources to give out parking tickets, cite pedestrians for jay-walking, or homeless people from peeing in public.

Here's hoping the cutbacks on the Probation front have equated to an investment in intelligence and remote monitoring.

The reluctance or inability of our government to legislate to protect the nation from extremists shows a serious flaw in our judicial system which is surprising when you consider that a great many parliamentarians are lawyers themselves.

The only time jihadists should ever be released from the custody of any country is after being lobotomized. Only when jihadis are reduced to drooling imbeciles will humanity be safe.
