A haven from jihad: Republic of South Sudan set to become a nation on Saturday

May this new nation, born out of the resistance to jihad, last 5000 years. "South Sudan Becomes New Nation Saturday," from CBNNews.com, July 8:

The Republic of South Sudan will join the community of nations on Saturday.

After the military celebrations and parades, the South will have to face up to the realities it faces.

It will be one of the most underdeveloped countries on the planet. Only 15 percent of its citizens can read and fears of renewed conflict abound.

The people of the South have endured a half century of civil war and oppression by the Islamic rulers of northern Sudan that left more than 2 million dead.

The South's population is heavily Christian and black African, two groups targeted by Omar Bashir's regime.

let me tell you something. if they sontfight among themselves it will become a great nation. you know why?
because there will be no Islam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prepare for the post-independence atrocities as Khartoum pursues its Jihad by gobbling up the oil-rich border region of the new country and cleansing it of its Christian population.

And why do I suspect that unlike Darfur, Hollywood and the media will ignore the coming humanitarian crises? The answer is simple: The victims will be Christians...and for some reason, this fact will disqualify them from the empathy and concerns of liberal activists.

A big historical experiment has started. Two nations out of the same nation. One with Islam as its reason of being the other not.

Think Pakistan and India starting at the same point of the Indian independence in 1947.

Pakistan with Islam at is core. India not.

We all know how that went.

Let see how the Islam-loving UN, EU Commission and Caliph Hussein Obama, intends to help this brave South Sudan nation and people! I don't think I've heard any words of joy from Caliph Hussein Obama on this brave new Christian-ruled Republic!

Congratulations to South Somalia, may they remain independent and non-muslim for eternity.

Hopefully G-d will look favorably on this New Nation. Christian and Animist have a history of gettin along in the South from what I've read. Hopefully any Christians left in the North will relocate South and highly encourage the Muslims to do likewise going North.

As mentioned, the oil region will be interesting. Hopefully the Red Chinese will assist the South, other than that Israel is the only other likely benifactor. We ALL know who the US will support!

A haven from jihad: Republic of South Sudan set to become a nation on Saturday
........................

I hope the new nation will indeed be a haven from Jihad. All good luck to the Republic of South Sudan!

First multiculturalism is declared DOA by the leaders of Germany and the UK, now the Sudan has decided to secede into two standalone nation stated delineated along gene pool lines.

*** 33:21 ***

The Sudan move is cuz old Holy Prophet Mohammed was a KKK-style racist when it came to black Africans. The whole thing about Moslem vs. Christian only exacerbated racial feelings among Arabs and Berbers that stretch back to days long before 610 AD.

A miracle. At long last, one nation has liberated itself from the Muslims. Another miracle is that our United States of America, England and other cowardly Western democracies did not bomb those much-suffered black Africans, as they did the Serb Christians, for defending themselves from the Muslims.

Ruslan Tokhchukov, EnragedSince1999.

A Nation is Born, this is the first defeat of Islam in a long time. It won't be the last.

HUZZAH!

HUZZAH! HUZZAH! HUZZAH!

This is glorious news and I am delighted to see the suffering of the south sudanese will soon be at an end. But this is not the end of the job.

We have a moral, and many of us a holy, duty to ensure the success of these peoples.

Some, er, poster suggested Israel would be amongst those to benifit from this. They will benifit on the world stage if they make an ally out of South Sudan and assist in the healing and development of that country. All christians and jews have a moral duty to help these people in some way to create an independant nation.

Christian Soldirity is an organization that has been buying the freedom of slaves from their muslim masters with cow vaccine. The videos I have seen of them on youtube are believable and they have put out thruroughly cited human rights reports in conjunction with respected institutions.

Please look up information about the group yourselves and if they pass your personal smell test please donate to assist these efforts.

But don't stop there!

And as for North Sudans right to the procedes from that oil...

As free people, would we prefer the procedes went to propping up a bloodthirsty and dictatorial regime that is a member of the OIC or would we prefer those procedes go the development of a new free nation AND THE FREEING OF SLAVES?

I can sum up my feelings on North Sudans feelings about this issue in four words.

Sa-Ca-Rewe them!

Is there a way to find out how we can determine and assist reputable instututions who are aiding in the development of this new nation?

If they are smart the 1st law will be to ban the building of any mosques and to ban all outward signs of Islam. These laws should be strictly and harshly enforced. They should also ban all Muslim immigration.

As a new country I hope they are wise enough to ban Muslim immigration.

Hopefully we'll switch to buying our oil from South Sudan.

The revenue they earn will help them to resist any incursions by Muslims from the North.

And crucially, the less oil we buy from the Saudis the less money they have to build their supremacist mosques in the West and fund jihad in general.

The big historical experiment occurred when British colonialism lumped the two areas into one territory and, in the era of de-colonization, tried to make one nation out of them. The modern Thirty Years' War which preceded the independence of South Sudan shows how dismally that experiment failed.

MAC, don't invest much in hoping that Communist China will help South Sudan. They want the oil, which the North will probably control (indeed, Beijing is exploring for oil 90 miles off our shores, while our "intelligent" president want to gut the entire fossil fuel industry in our own country). Moreover, official China is against "splittism" everywhere, if for no other reason than their own inability to work out a decent social contract with their own peripheries has resulted in enormous separatist problems in China itself. I doubt that China can sympathize with Christian "splittists" separating themselves from a Muslim-dominated state any more than they can sympathize with Muslim and Lama Buddhist "splittists" in Sharki Turkistan or Tibet. Add to the fact that South Sudanese people are black will get them only contempt from Beijing, for much as I respect the Chinese culture and am kin to it myself, I have to admit that its racism can be as bad as anything you might have seen in the USA back when I was a kid. Indeed, it's even worse, since the official Chinese conscience is informed by the "scientific" anthropology of a 19th century American ethnologist named Morgan, whose theories about cultural evolution happened to get echoed by Marx rather than any pre-modern, "unscientific" sentimentality about everyone sharing the same divine image or being recipients of the same saving grace.

Ya, I figured it was a long shot, but the Red Chinese are the only one that would have the guts to assist them. Hopefully Israel will assit them since they need the oil and could use some point with southern African nations.

There is an underlying racial hatred in Islamic doctrine that makes non-Arab people vulnerable to Muslim attacks, especially by their fellow non-Arabs desperate to fit in with the "cool kids" of Islam. The people of Sudan have lived under cruel conditions for years. Part three of my series "Slavery and Islam" at http://thenewknighthood.blogspot.com places particular focus on the troubled history of this region and the struggles of the south.

Well done to the people of South Sudan who would not bend their backs to the whip. Best of luck to them in forming a new nation lucky enough to have no Muslims and no Islam.

I support the new nation completely. I hope the Indian government spends half as much effort in building relationship with South Sudan as it does not "normalizing" relationship with Pakistan.

If only this new nation can sustain democracy, it will be a great achievement and potentially a great friend of all anti - jihadists.

And we need as many modern, secular anti - jihadists outside of western world as possible.

Sanjay

Congratulations to South Sudan!

Now if they are smart, they should kick out all the muslims living in the new country, and as some suggested, ban the mosques, ban muslim immigration, and maybe even ban Islam.

Keeping Islam and muslims away will save them a lot of trouble for many many generations.

Good luck to the new nation :)

The borders with Islam always tinged red was Churchill's summing up and how prophetic?

Both India and Israel share this unenviable role and now South Sudan, after decades of unimaginable persecution joins the ranks.

These lands, in truth are our canary in the coalmine and an example of the reality of life abutting Islam.

That the 'Religion of Peace' has caused such pain, misery, death and destruction is a stark lesson to us all.

Meanwhile they are relentlessly colonising the west via the immigration weapon, proving that this oh so obvious lesson is falling upon stony ground amongst our so called leaders.

What actually will it take for these appeaseniks to realise that Islam is a moveable feast and that wherever they go their painting by Arabic numbers masterpieces (and as we learned, obviously no portraits of Mohammed) are replicated dot by dot in precisely the same fashion?

PS

Has Obama made mention of this emergent new state yet?

The new country is landlocked, so hopefully, they set up a transit route through Ethiopia & Kenya to get their oil to ships transporting them abroad. No reason why Khartoum should control it.

Hopefully, they can sell their oil to Israel, India, the US amongst others, and reduce some of the Jihad revenues

Beijing assists nobody unless there's a chance to further isolate Taibei. If, after gaining a UN seat and international recognition, South Sudan sets up relations with Taiwan, then Beijing will get lavish with promises of aid. Further, if South Sudan's independence angers the Arab and Muslim worlds, Beijing will do the math and figure who's got the guns, money, and oil.

Also, Beijing doesn't have "guts". Yes, they got pretty tough with the Uighurs and the Tibetans. But I think that their behavior towards dissident religious groups that speak Chinese is more instructive. Back in the 1990's, when Hui Muslims went on a rampage in Qinghai over some perceived insult to Islam, the PRC government got very conciliatory. They've been rather aquiescent in the spread of a deepening Islamic identity among Hui in places like Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, and Yunnan. Yet at the same time, the PRC government is a lion to unregistered Christians in Henan and Fujian. The Communists know that the Christians aren't going to burn down a police station and Communist Party HQ anywhere. Further, I suspect that when the Hui in Qinghai rioted, the PRC government was scared stiff when the Hui pointedly avoided any conflict with the local ethnic Tibetans (their hereditary enemies) and remained cordial with foreigner "experts" known to be sub rosa Christian missionaries.

The U.S. should pull out of Afghanistan immediately and build a quick-strike-force base in the South Sudan thereby establishing defensive position on the edge of Islam while providing jobs and income for the new nation and protecting them from the barbarians to the north.

About 4 or 5 years ago the Wiggers started a rebelion and killed 30 Hun Chinese and decapulated them. The Chi-Coms came in and beheaded something like 300 of their top Islamic seperatist. Tehn they built them a few Mosques with THEIR(Commie) approved Inmans. LOL!

India was a good idea. They need oil but they probably too afraid to piss off Pakistan. We can only hope someone makes some treaties with them!

HAIL SOUTH SUDAN!!! It will be extremely interesting to see how these 2 countries progress side by side--I'm the sure the South Sudan will leave the North in the dust in every conceivable field.

HAPPY 1ST DAY SOUTH SUDAN REPUBLIC.

May your people live happly and free from jihad.

We are prepared to spend billions and shed our blood defending Islam in Pakistan, but we have done little or nothing to support Christianity in South Sudan. Get the troops out of Afghanistan and send 20% of them to defend, arm and train the Sudanese Christians. The U.K gave £650,000,000 for education in Pakistan. What have we given to South Sudan ?

And yet I do not see U.S. troops "patrolling" South Sudan or riding South Sudan of terrorists. They are too busy being picked off in Afghanistan and now Libya.

I've been out and about, celebrating southern Sudan's independence, so my comment is late.
But I will be quick,as there is more celebration afoot tonight; so just a few points;
The Chinese like the northern Sudanese for a particular reason, and for this reason they visit all the Mahdi tourist spots in Omdurman. The Sudanese killed Gordon; that makes them admirable to the Chinese, who were not impressed with "Chinese Gordon."
The British, far from lumping the north and south into one area, divided the country into northern Muslim and non-Muslim south, for one reason: to stop the slave trade and protect the southern people. Even Muslim clothing was banned in the south.
This has not always earned them thanks. I have even heard southerners say that the British "divide and rule" policy was bad for the south, and northerners say that the policy prevented the development of a "normal" relationship between the two groups. (Well, they might see it as "normal" for themselves to raid, rape enslave and forcibly convert non-Muslims.)
The northerners persuaded the southerners to help them oust the British, promising representation, equality etc, but many southerners (not enough) were doubtful and of course, the Muslims were true to type instead of being true to their word.
Hey presto, attempted Arabization, Islamisation and ultimately jihad. This was spelled out very clearly last night in the speeches made by southern Sudanese elders, who said most did not want the British to go. I hope the invited politicians were listening.
The Chinese, said Riek Machar to me, know the south has the wealth but think Khartoum has the power, and will try to keep the status quo. They are not troubled by human rights considerations. That was 2007 but Khartoum still has far too much power to destabilise the south.
And I believe you are right; the Chinese are going soft on Islam within China, and this means something in international terms.
(But how will it be later when the Muslim and Chinese worlds battle over the carcase of the West?!)
I say to the southern Sudanese,"Don't cry over Chinese environmental damage to the south. You have the whip hand, as they want your resources. Make them pay, and make them clean up after themselves or not be allowed back. And whatever you do, don't sell your land to them, as we foolish Australians are doing."

Excelent post. I didn't think of the Gordon tie. No one can say the Chinese do not have a LONG memory. LOL!

And a Christian South Sudan shall now have the freedom to rise higher and higher to eventually surpass North Sudan, and once again show the world the stark differences between free Christian nations and those which are Islam (who can deny this - just look at a world map). Without oil those now prosperous Muslim lands would just be poor and repressed stink holes...

I LOVE what I am hearing from Americans, Israelis and Indians about this!

We should all pressure our countries to assist in the education, infrastructure and development of this new free country!

The Holy Bible says\:".Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Galatians 6:10 - LET THE NEW NATION TAKE CARE OF THE RIGHTS OF THE MUCH PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS FIRST AND FOREMOST.

Two Christian organisations that are worth supporting are 1. the Barnabas Fund (which is concentrating on educating and training the pastors and priests - and let me tell you, Barnabas being founded by an apostate from Islam is making sure these priests know *exactly* what Islam is all about, including all the nasty bits; and 2. the Mothers' Union, a venerable world-wide Anglican women's organisation, much of whose modern membership is black African Christian women who do lots of good work. There are lots of black Anglicans in the Sudan and a huge Mothers' Union membership. They focus on educating girls (basic literacy and life skills), teaching the art of good parenting, and generally promoting a stable, violence-free and healthy family life.

Of course, the South Sudanese will also need a good supply of modern weaponry to fend off the jihad: but the sort of work that MU and Barnabas do helps build what I would call civil society. The stronger *that* is, the better their soldiers will be able to fight.

Incidentally, Barnabas also teaches the Christians how to go about the challenging task of evangelising Muslims (Sookhdeo knows what works, because he knows what worked for *him*)...and they have some success at it. The more of the residual Muslim presence in S Sudan becomes solidly Christian, the better.

Here is one news report which includes mention of how the South Sudanese community in Australia celebrated the liberation of their homeland.

You will note that church services are mentioned.

Jubilation as South Sudan marks independence

"Large celebrations are being held across Melbourne to mark South Sudan's independence.
Because of international time zones, the first vote in the world-wide January referendum was cast in Melbourne, with people travelling to Victoria from South Australia, the Northern Territory and Tasmania to access polling booths.

Rita Padang from the Abyei Women's Group says large parties and church services are being held across Melbourne over the weekend to mark the historic occasion."

"I couldn't believe it is today because I couldn't sleep. One-hundred-and-ninety years we [were] suffering ... dying, the houses they [i.e the Muslims - dda] are burning, they [i.e. the Muslims - dda] looted and they [i.e. the Muslis - dda] take everything. That is why we are here in Australia and we are happy today."
The Southern Sudanese community in Adelaide [in South Australia - dda] will also join global celebrations to formally recognise the independence of their homeland.
David Jock from the local chapter of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement says independence marks a moment in history for his people.

"I was one of the Lost Boys of Sudan and I left my country when I was nine years old and this day is more, is significant day for me and not for me alone, and is for all the people of Southern Sudan," he said.

'A morning church service at St Peters Cathedral [that is, the Anglican Cathedral in Adelaide] will be followed by a celebration at the Woodville Community hall this afternoon."

There are two countries that all decent non-Muslim countries should support to the hilt.

Timor Lorosae/ East Timor, born in 1990, after its Melanesian Catholic and animist population endured some three decades of mass-murderous Jihad under the domination of Muslim Indonesia.

And, now, South Sudan, born in 2011, after its black African animist and Christian population endured and resisted some 60 years of mass-murder, gang rape, mass enslavement, torture, and daylight robbery - in other words - full-on JIHAD - inflicted upon them by the 'Arab' Muslims of the North.

Both are starting from nothing and less than nothing, all their infrastructure having been pretty much systematically and deliberately wrecked by the Muslims who ruled them, and large parts of their population traumatised or driven into exile.

And both will be assailed by full-on Jihad invasion, and also attacked by Mohammedan deceit and 'split the camp' sh*t-stirring from within.

They need our help and encouragement - military, economic, psychological and spiritual - so that they can hold what they have gained.

For they represent turf clawed back from the Ummah, at immense cost. They represent a pushing back of the boundaries of the Empire of Islam. Their victory should be celebrated as *our* victory, as a small win for ALL non-Muslims on planet earth. We have a vested interest in their surviving and their thriving.

(Similarly, we non-Muslims have a huge vested interest in the surviving and thriving of Israel and India, which *also* represent defeat for the Empire of Islam).

And it should be our business - and of free non-Muslim governments - to do all we can to ensure that Ethiopia does not fall to Islam, and that Thailand and the Philippines defeat the jihad waged in their southern provinces.

And, frankly, a LOT more help quietly given under the table to the Melanesian Christians and animists of West Papua, who should NEVER have been handed over to the murderous Muslim imperialists of Indonesia, would be in order, too.
