Al Qaeda has explicitly called for ‘cyber-jihad’ and there have been a series of attempts by terrorists to ‘invade’ Facebook, the Government's new counter-terrorism strategy said today.
Terrorists are increasingly using online technology to plan and disguise attacks and there will be more cyber-terrorism in the future, it said.

The devil comes to "kill, steal and destroy. To expect anything more of Islam is to spit into the wind. Education programs and reports of Islamic behavior need to be widespread in our society. Well, this is not new, i have seen dozens of EDL and related FaceBook groups pages taken out by a groups of Pakistani and Turkish hackers over the last 8 months, they have tried to take over a number i admin myself.
they claimed that they were only targeting hate pages, but of course, how is a page run by an Iranian muslim related to stopping stoning also offensive to them.
i have seen some try to pass themselves off as Christian Lebanese and Egyptians or Hindus trying to gain the trust of counter jihad activists.
I believe there is a cyberwar raging specifically on FB already.
