Allthough on this blog one does not hear much about Shoebat, I think smear campains against anti-jihadist such as Shoebat should be fought against. Whether one likes (I do) Shoebat and his christian convictions or not, wrong is wrong and right is right, facts are facts and we should go for the truth and against smear campains and who knows who is the text target of CAIR, it could be YOU!

Robert; I find myself having trouble with the vision here, although agree with the basis of your argument.
It is not just sharia, many aspects of islam itself would also fail to pass the test of our Constitution (death to those who leave islam, etc).
My position is that islam is followed entirely( a requirement) by those who claim this faith as their own. This means a call by outsiders to seperate that which will not pass our laws here is doomed to fail. This approach to extract islam of the troubling aspects is also in conflict of our Constitution, as such it opens the country up to peril as the battle over the faith's teaching, vs where following the right of freedom of Religion makes the faith itself off limits to attack and outside directive.
It is a issue that must be exposed, islam itself can not be allowed to hold both sides of the stick, and balance in the middle as well. However ,by trying to argue only against sharia, instead of islam as a whole, opens the path for the faith to claim first ammendment rights, and protection.
I'm sure others here could state my meaning better, but in any case it must be exposed.

Read the frickin arab-quran if you think all those savages want is "equality." The OIC supports "territorial integrity" when a muslim tyranny wants sovereignty over oppressed minorities, and "self-determination" where muslims want to separate into a jihad state. Ergo: trust the beast-from-the-east as far as you can spit against a hurricane.
As for media, last night CNN blasted Walid Shoebat for supporting Justice System profiling of muslims, and for refusal to disclose which oppressed Christians he seeks to protect. I don't know about his accounting, but I know that concealment would be the better option. As for profiling, we need to treat different anyone whose cult decrees hate for other religions and who is bound by this decree: "jihad is prescribed to you." I would put them all on a leash, pending their removal outside of Civilization.
As far as Shoebats support for persecuted christians is concerned I know for sure that he is telling the truth, because I personally know one of those families he is helping, i know how they look like, when they are born, hell, I even have their passport copies. Why do I know, because 4 german offcial churches (in one of it my father worked/works as a pastor) officially also helping one particular family who also receives help from Walid Shoebat and I spoke to them and they told me they receive money from the walid shoebat foundation for some years now.
Now of cousre the informations of them can NOT be revealed, since that would put them in danger, but CNN obviously cant understand this, since they seam to believe islam is a peaceful religion and christians in muslim countries live practically in paradise. yeah right.
I also called CNN and turner, anderson coopers office and wrote some emails and offered them to confirm Shoebats claims as long as it does not indanger the persecuted christian family, but nobody cared for that information!
In matter of fact, CNN did NOT want to know anything, it did not matter that I can prove (beyond the shaddow of a doubt) Shoebats claims about his foundation etc.
To me it is crystal clear that CNN launched a smear campain against Shoebat and my guess is, since they dont want a confirmation about his foundation, they dont want any confirmation about the other points (him being jailed & an ex-terorist back then etc.) they question.
We all know that the MSM is biased, but that they now willfully seam to start smearing campains against others, takes the cake, thats down right evil and cant be excused at all. Journalist have the duty to publish the facts, sure their opinions would mirror in their work and a little bias here and there is understandable, but to entirely invent stuff and lying through their teeth is a scandal!
