Sitting in the carpark i noticed an obviously Muslim family playing with their little boy and for a second i despised them.This is never how i want to be and i wept there in the car before driving to the safety of home.As i get older i fear for my grandchildren growing up in this alien atmosphere.God help the young people!

One must not forget that the person who shot those innocent children is not the one playing with their child there. At the same time, there may come a day when that child holds a gun to another over some long-dead person's justification.

I doubt it. You can spin this as a "madness of mankind" sort of thing if you wish, but I would be very surprised if any of the children at the Norway Labor Party Youth Camp have been raised to indiscriminately murder people in revenge.

Watch for CAIR to go to the MSM with their usual rants that they "FEAR" backlash as the scapegoats for the perception that islam had something to do with any "Misunderstanders" of the Quran that are alleged to be tied to these slaughters of civilians.
There are 5'500'000'000 non-Muslim on Earth that are fed-up with those "FEW" misunderstanders that 1.5 billion muslims can't seem to find among themselves or in their Mosques.

Anthony, I doubt that anyone here was brought up to nurture bigotry. I've received kind treatment from Muslims during my travels, and am wary of the deport-'em-all sentiment that sometimes crops up here. I will also be the first to admit that there's a gamut of positions held by Muslims, and, given the number of Muslims serving in the US military, for example, the Maj. Nidal's, deserters to the enemy, and the like are the NEWS, not the norm.
What is happening, though, is that the actions by Islamic extremists, including the words on these internet fora where terrorist attacks on peaceful Kufr are cheered, have exposed the from the smoldering volcano that is textual, orthodox, mainstream Islamic theology. In many posts, people like Robert Spencer have demonstrated why this theology is a smoldering volcano, and have also exposed why the moral equivalence that's always trotted out is so much malarkey. Since 9/11, too many of us have gotten an unsolicited education in Islamic doctrine and theological ethics that utterly appalls and frightens us. Now, it seems to be the turn of Gamle Norge.
Islam's eruption into the West, including all the theological and ethical baggage its adherents bring, has blown the lid off of our all-too-uncritical relativism and multiculturalism.
