WASHINGTON (AP) _ The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee says more than 40 Americans have been recruited by al-Qaida-linked terrorists in Somalia and have gone there to fight.
U.S. counterterrorism officials have not reported such high numbers of Americans joining the Somali terror organization, al-Shabab. The government has said at least 21 Somali-Americans are believed to have traveled to Somalia to join the terror group in what began as a push to expel Ethiopian soldiers. Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the double suicide bomb attack in Uganda's capital last year, and members have aligned themselves with other anti-Western terror groups.
New York Republican Rep. Peter King's findings are based on his committee's investigation into the threat.
King plans to address the problem Wednesday during his third congressional hearing on Muslim radicalization.
I wonder what reading material could have molded them to want to do such things. I'm sure the New York Times, Aftenblad, and the BBC will be right on it.
It is likely that the numbers are much higher. Anti Americanism is high among those ingrates. In fact, some hold barbecues on the anniversary of that day when Mogadishu pigs slaughtered US troops, hacked off pieces of their rorpses, roasted same and then danced while holding American flesh on sticks. US big-media has never played that video.

Strip them of their citizenship. If their families and associates canbe shown to have known about their intentions, strip them of their citizenship as well and repatriate them to their countries of origin.
Repeat with vigor, as necessary.

The meretricious Keith Ellison was on Keith Olbermann's new show, slamming Congressman King and ludicrously nattering on about the wonderful "Somali community"—which Keith, of course, accepted entirely uncritically.

Translation: "Muslims with American passports".
Or, in most if not all cases (for there have been, I think, recruitments of Muslims who are not ethnically Somal), "Somali Muslims with American passports".
