An al-Qaeda manual captured in 2006 discussed at great length the ways in which a jihadist ought to cover his tracks by appearing non-observant, from shaving his beard to indulging in alcohol and promiscuity. It would all be overlooked in the end in Allah's promise of paradise to those who "slay and are slain" fighting in his cause (Qur'an 9:111).

A new terror training manual tells Islamic extremists to lie about their sexuality if a woman approaches them in case she is a “honeytrap” spy sent by security services.
The handbook, which was uncovered by a Sunday Mirror investigation, says: “Many hotels – especially in busy UK cities – have women hanging around the lobby areas in order to attract men.
“A young beautiful woman may come and talk to you. The first thing you do to protect yourself from such a situation is to make dua (prayers) to Allah for steadfastness.
“The second thing is to find an excuse to get away from her that is realistic and sensible, such as you having a girlfriend for the past few years and you are loyal to her or you are homosexual.”
The suggestion is one of many tips in the manual, called Class Notes From The Security and Intelligence Course.
The 64-page guide, all in English, was written to try to stop the police and MI5 uncovering the identity of terrorists plotting attacks on British soil.
It was produced by Taliban warlords in Afghanistan and was discovered by Sunday Mirror investigators on a password-protected Jihadist website used by UK cells. It has emerged just months after MI5 launched a recruitment drive for women to work as spies.
The guide was placed online after Osama Bin Laden was killed, suggesting Al Qaeda and Taliban leaders are determined to launch revenge attacks on the UK.
Its introduction says: “Our aim is to publish an English version of a training course to provide basic principles of security for working brothers in Europe.”
Other advice warns fanatics not to mix with neighbours too much and to wear sunglasses to make themselves harder to identify. There are also tips on driving a getaway car during a terror plot.

Well, as almost anyone who has traveled to Muslim countries (either under Uncle Sam's bill or as an independent traveler) knows, opportunistic homosexuality is rampant in Muslim lands, just as it is in prisons.
It was on Ummah.com I followed a survey among the Muslimas: "would you ever marry a man without the full beard?"
They would not.
Those were heady days on Ummah.com.
At the same time I was following a discussion - or an exchange of declarations rather - where the moderators were speaking in favour of slavery under Islam.
Other forums there were of similar highly strange content, and in the end I had to give up on Ummah.com before I lost all faith in my fellow man. I must admit to looking warily at that long beard ever since - especially if dyed red - and I would imagine only a woman from one of the respective Security Services would ever smile endearingly at it .....which should cause some suspicion in itself.
I spoke to an American soldier last year who served in Iraq. We discussed many things about his tour of duty but what he conveyed to me that was most surprising to him was how many Iraqi men were doing the Big Nasty to other men.
I'm not surprised when the muslim men pretty much fear women and are taught that women are vile and disgusting beings. It's hard to imagine that a muslim man would actually feel love for a women when they are brought up this way. In afghanistan, many older men take younger boys which they are said to prefer. This way they aren't doing anything illegal with regards to the Koran (nevermind that homosexuality is supposed to be illegal in the Koran also).
It might actually be BOTH.

The situation seems to be that if the homosexual sex is unequal—coerced, rape, abuse of a young boy—then it is completely Halal.
If, however, there is any genuine affection—anything from an affable one-night stand to a life-long love—then it is Haram and the perpetrators deserve to be stoned or thrown from tall buildings.
