July has seen an uptick in the number of rockets and other projectiles fired at Israel from Gaza after several months of calm following a flare-up of violence in April, when an anti-tank missile fired from Gaza hit an Israeli school bus, killing a teenager.
Israel responded to that attack with a series of air strikes that killed at least 19 Palestinians in the deadliest violence since Israel's devastating 22-day assault on Gaza in 2008-2009.
The violence had raised fears of another similar offensive, but on April 10 Gaza's Hamas rulers declared a return to the truce that ended Israel's Operation Cast Lead in January 2009.
It took a few days for everyone to make up their minds, as rockets continued flying from Hamas after the first call for a ceasefire. And Islamic Jihad never signed on, of course.

From the Hamas perspective, a measly 26 rockets in a 31-day month, less than one a day, fired at those they call "sons of pigs and apes," qualifies as "moderation." And so also to their poodles in the international leftist community, who, when not engaging in serial blood libels against Israel (the 2000 shooting of the Palestinian boy which 'launched' Intifada II, but was in fact done by friendly fire from the Pal. side; the 2002 'massacre' in Jenin which, whoops, was not a massacre; 2008-09 Cast Lead operation which 'targeted Gaza civilians,' only, whoops, it didn't, etc., ad nauseam) are singing the praises of the Palestinian 'resistance.' But then, it doesn't count. After all, it's only the Jews who are targeted.

There is absolutely no justification for firing 26 rockets into Israel. It is utterly reprehensible. With that being said let's take a look at some statistics shall we:
Between September 2000- and march 2008:
Palestinians killed by Israelis: 4608 Israelis killed by Palestinians: 67
Palestinians killed by settlers: 144. Israelis killed by Pals civilians: 0
Number of displaced Palestinian refugees registered in camps: 1,327,772
Total number of displaced Palestinian refugees: 4, 448,446
Since its creation Israel has shamelessly displayed its undemocratic and racist policies towards its Arab citizens. More recently through the passing of the "boycott law" that prohibits freedom of speech and expressing one's political convictions through calls for boycott. This law is so undemocratic that even ABRAHAM FOXMAN, president of the ADL who is usually tremendously supportive of Israeli policies condemned the law and said it hurts Israeli "democracy" .
Now I ask you, who are the real terrorists?

The rocket attacks will continue in line with all other forms of Islamic terror - and imho deservedly - until Israel matures to the point of deciding to stop them. The way to do this - which happens to also be the only way the West could ever hope to stem the tide of Islamic terrorism - is through retaliation using tactics as prescribed by the Koran.
They fire a rocket into Israel - Israel deletes the block from which it was launched. Allah's Finest hijack a plane - we delete an Islamic airport. A suicide bomber murders a dozen civilians as his key to glory, and the host nation deletes an entire Muslim town of thousands.

In the days of Menachem Begin, he gave the formula to calming down terrorist attacks. If they strike at us, we will immediately retaliate with firepower and strike back at the terrorists. This is the only thing they understand. I'm glad that Israel isn't fully chained from reacting to her existence, due to the worldwide cancer of political correctness.
