As we have noted before, al-Shabaab has seen in the Somali famine an opportunity to starve its enemies and erode the general population's will to resist. Christians are all the more a target of the group's macabre calculations in its attempt to control the flow of aid, in a famine whose existence it officially continues to deny. The Islamist terrorist group al Shabab is intentionally starving Somali Christians in territory it controls. It's just the latest incident in the terror group's systematic efforts to eradicate all of Somalia's Christians.
According to the International Christian Concern (ICC), al Shabab's intentional denial of humanitarian aid has resulted in the deliberate starvation of 18 Christians in the Somali cities of Afgoye, Baidawa, and Kismayo. As ICC spokesman Jonathan Racho said, "Any Somali that is suspected of being a Christian, or a friend of a Christian, does not receive any food aid."
Unfortunately, the ongoing and purposeful elimination of the small Somali Christian community at the hands of al Shabab has gone largely unrecognized and unreported, eclipsed by the other horrors of rape, torture and murder perpetrated upon most of Somalia's Muslim population by the Islamist terrorist group.
It goes without saying that al Shabab's brutality has been well documented, most recently in a report issued by Human Rights Watch, which found the terror group continuing to carry out public beheadings and floggings; forced recruitment of children into its forces; and the denial of humanitarian assistance to the 2.2 million starving Somalis in al Shabab-controlled territory.
So, it shouldn't surprise that al Shabab, which has openly professed its intention to rid Somalia of a Christian presence, is focusing its particular brand of barbarity on Somali Christians. After all, this is the same group that in August 2010 banned three Christian Aid Groups that it stated were "acting as missionaries under the guise of humanitarian work" while at the same time spreading what they termed as "corrupted ideologies in order to taint the pure creed of the Muslims in Somalia."
Of course, it should be noted that the persecution of Christian Somalis pre-dates the rise of al Shabab. That assault arose from the outset of Somalia's 1991 civil war and has gone unabated ever since. During that time it is estimated that over a thousand Somali Christian adults have been killed in this overwhelmingly Muslim country, with thousands of others forced to either flee Somalia or deny their faith to save their lives....
Damn Christians! Always ruining it for everybody.
Wait! What? It's the Muslims? Oh, they must be misunderstanders.

Guess it doesn't matter that the food aid comes mostly from Christians...
And yet another genocidal jihad going on in Africa and ignored by the West. When will be throw off oil dependence and stop being morally compromised? When will we admit that the Crusades were defensive wars which confronted barbaric Islamic conquests such as this, with genocide, forced slavery, rape, murder, and plunder? When will we shake off the false guilt and ridiculous, lame, ignorant lethargy and oppose such evil? When will we finally stop sending our soldiers to the distraction of Afghanistan, where are troops are simply picked off and weakened (for ten years already!!) by the global jihad? When will we wake up to the reality that Islamic conquest is similar to Nazi conquest and cannot be stopped by mere "dialogue?"
Oh that our so-called "President" would immediately STOP all food aid to Somalia in such an event. Who am I kidding? It's already been clear that Christians are not given aid in Somalia or other African islamic nations with any kind of equality compared with muslims.
I know... Let's just send pork products!! Lard, baking mix loaded with lard, sausages, canned meat, even gelatin desserts. MAYBE then the Christians can get some food...
The somalian christians won't eat pork either though. MANY of us christians don't eat pork. God's dietary laws STILL apply.
Some years back I read in a medical journal that 50% of ALL bodies autopsied in the US had trichonosis (can't spell). And of those people that were found to have the parasite, over half of them were misdiagnosed with some form of arthritis. God didn't say to stay away from pork or shell fish until you have a way to cook it to death. God is constant and doesn't change His mind. If he DID change His mind that would mean that his original position was incorrect which would never happen.
Otherwise, we can say that God only meant not to have sex outside of marriage because condoms weren't invented yet.
Back in '85, when I told people about this, no-one believed me. Back then it was just Ethiopia, Eritrea and the Sudan. Starvation is cheaper than bullets, and 100% effective, when left to run it's course.
