Maryland: 17-year-old "Mohammed K." was collaborator with "Jihad Jane," is accused of plotting school massacre

Mohammed was "pissed off" at his classmates who were proud their parents worked for the National Security Agency and FBI. And so he spoke openly of his desire to kill them.

The system worked in efforts to stop him, thanks in large part to a tip to the FBI from The Jawa Report. After Columbine, there is no such thing as "just kidding" about school shootings, just as there is no such thing for jokes about bombs in the TSA screening line at the airport. But Mohammed K.'s family expects him to be an exception, claiming he is the victim.

"Teen tied to Jihad Jane allegedly plotted school shooting," by John Shiffman for the Philadelphia Inquirer, August 27:

The Maryland teenager secretly arrested by the FBI for allegedly conspiring with the woman from the Philadelphia suburbs known as Jihad Jane also spoke of a Columbine-style plot with a Pittsburgh-area friend in a jihadist chat room, according to sources and documents.

Disturbing on so many levels:

"I had a lot of thoughts about you today," Mohammed K. wrote to his Western Pennsylvania pen pal late last year. "About us both doing martyrdom operations together in my school. . . . It was like we both were in a big truck and had guns and we were shooting randomly at a huge crowd of kids."
The chats provide new insight into a boy who at age 15 allegedly began helping Colleen LaRose, aka "Jihad Jane," the 48-year-old Pennsburg woman who U.S. officials say represents a disturbing new face of homegrown terrorism.
Mohammed K. was 17 and a high school senior in Ellicott City, Md., when he allegedly wrote those threatening words. The Inquirer is not publishing his last name because he is a juvenile.
Mohammed's chat room friend was Emerson Begolly, a Pennsylvania State University student who was soon charged with soliciting unrelated terror attacks. Transcripts of the chats were publicly filed in that case.
During the Nov. 22, 2010, chat, Mohammed told Begolly he lived near National Security Agency headquarters in Fort Meade, Md.
"The place where I live is a HOTBED of NSA and all the security agencies of Amrika (sic)," Mohammed wrote. "And the kids who study in my school proudly state that their parents work in NSA and FBI, and even carry key chains - piss me off."
"Like Columbine?" Begolly asked.
"Na'am, lol" Mohammed wrote, using the Arabic word for "yes" and Internet slang for "laughing out loud."
It could not be determined Saturday whether the authorities took any immediate action based on the threatening remarks, which were reported to the FBI by the anti-jihadist group MyPetJawa.

Well done!

Neither Jeffrey Lindy, the Philadelphia lawyer representing Mohammed K., nor FBI spokesman J.J. Klaver would comment. Police and school officials in Howard County, Md., could not be reached.
Juvenile cases in federal court are rare, and terror cases rarer still. Federal law prohibits government officials from discussing them.
In February, LaRose pleaded guilty to terror-conspiracy charges as part of a failed plot to kill a Swedish artist whose cartoon of the prophet Muhammad with a dog's head had insulted many Muslims.

Whose prophet?

Seven alleged coconspirators were arrested in Ireland, and Jamie Pauline Ramirez of Leadville, Colo., has pleaded guilty in Philadelphia to providing support to terrorists.
The LaRose indictment does not cite Mohammed by name, but uses a code name to allege that he helped her raise money and recruit others for a jihad.
According to another court document, LaRose sent Mohammed her boyfriend's U.S. passport, which she had stolen for the jihad plot. Mohammed hid it at school.
After LaRose's arrest, Mohammed was repeatedly questioned by the FBI but not arrested until July. His detention was first made public Friday by The Inquirer.

Claiming victim status:

Relatives say the teenager was duped twice - first by LaRose and then by FBI agents. They said the FBI questioned Mohammed at least eight times without a lawyer or parent present. The boy's parents, recent immigrants from Pakistan who do not speak much English, gave permission for him to meet with the agents, but relatives now say the parents did not understand the consequences.
"He is innocent," a relative told The Inquirer last week. "He is not a criminal. Bad people on the Internet changed his mind."
The family, which lives in a modest apartment west of Baltimore, emigrated to give their four children a better education. Like his siblings, Mohammed excelled in school, winning scholarships based on his creative-writing skills, and was accepted to Johns Hopkins University.
"I really think he thought this was fantasy," a relative said. "He didn't actually do anything or hurt anybody."
His parents had chastised him for spending too much time online, worrying that he was distracted from his studies.
Mohammed appeared to allude to that during the Nov. 22 chat with Begolly, a 22-year-old former neo-Nazi who had become a jihadist....

The Internet is the infidels' invention, you clowns! We can see and hear everything you're doing. You can't operate outside of it.

These arab/subcontinental muslims were not enough that this white trash had to start this jihad. Where are we going people. This is sick

This reminds me of this one-liner from the Edinbugh Fringe funniest one-liner competition:

Tim Vine: "Crime in multi-storey car parks. That is wrong on so many different levels."

This was the winner though:

Nick Helm: "I needed a password eight characters long so I picked Snow White and the Seven Dwarves."

Sorry to go off-topic.

"I really think he thought this was fantasy," a relative said. "He didn't actually do anything or hurt anybody.""

So we're to sit back and wait until he does? Muslim terrorists have a track record of planning to kill and then following through....They threatened Theo Van Gogh, They threatened Pim Fortuyn, They threatened numerous Christian leaders, They threatened their own people...It's the Islamic modus operandi...Threaten first ...then kill...it's a proven modus operandi

As a wise man once said "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

So this means that Mohammed K. and hs family have failed the citizenship test, yes? Yes? YES???

I love it when Muslims get popped being stupid in public and watching them scramble to clean it up. Not sure how yet but I’m thinking Robert Spencer was behind this whole thing somehow.

When the U.S. government takes Islam, its tenets, the hate it so easily inspires and justifies, and its supremacist "manifest destiny" seriously, there would be no "recent" Muslim immigrants from Pakistan or other Muslim countries, and this kind of thing would not arise (from "recent" arrivals, anyway).

Stop immigration from countries that are clearly anti-american, anti-West. How much time is it going to take for the US government to understand that? There have been too many threats, incidents, deaths showing the Islamic world is at war with us.

We need a new style of society where we value families having more children (Yes I said that!) The issue is mathematic: if we do not have enough children to replace us the governments says that we need immigration and with immigration brings a lot of indesirable peoples let's be realistic here! Policing, surveilling people who want to destroy us cost at least as much money as helping families raising more children, but when we rely on our own demographic resources we have a better chance to have citizens who are well adjusted to our value system, no? The model relying on a non-Western immigration is a suicide for our society. Generations in 200 years will hate us foe what we did to them.

"Relatives say the teenager was duped twice" - projection, folks! Muslims dupe us, not the other way around.

FBI tipped off from Jawa Report? Isn't that one of them there "Islamophobic" sites? Would CAIR or the SPLC like to comment? Sure never heard the NY Times tip off anyone about preventing Islamic terrorism, but then again, the NYT is genuinely Islamophobic, as in afraid of being critical of Islam.

"Begolly, a 22-year-old former neo-Nazi who had become a jihadist..."
Mohammed K., the pakistani national, is an internet buddy with this guy?
Pretty much says it all.

"He is innocent," a relative told The Inquirer last week. "He is not a criminal. Bad people on the Internet changed his mind."

Of course, this debaucle wouldn't not be complete without the requisite mohammadan blame-everyone-but-the-perpertrator-who-was-caught-redhanded ploy.

He was the bad person on the internet, aunty. I've never been in a position to be influenced by "bad people on the internet" because I don't GO LOOKING FOR THEM.

You and your caught redhanded relative brought your hatred of the kaffir with you from crapistan. He sought out others who shared that hatred. He was influenced and fueled by you and your barbaric, hateful, racist ideology.

The relative must be tired he or she failed to throw in the requisite blame the Jews.

I'm full up to my eyeballs with muslims, their dhimmi enablers and their bullshi'ite.

Islamicists and Jihadis--two groups suffering from both unwarranted delusions of in-group grandeur and JDS (Jew Derangement Syndrome, a bacillus related to Bush Derangement Syndrome, only more ancient).

@Istanbul_Chick: "I'm full up to my eyeballs with muslims, their dhimmi enablers and their bullshi'ite."

You rang ?

His parents are recent immigrants from Pakistan and speak no English. Why were they allowed to immigrate to the USA?

From the article, this -

"The boy's parents, recent immigrants from Pakistan who do not speak much English..."

and this

"Relatives say the teenager was duped twice - first by LaRose and then by FBI agents. They said the FBI questioned Mohammed at least eight times without a lawyer or parent present. The boy's parents...gave permission for him to meet with the agents, but relatives now say the parents did not understand the consequences...

"He is innocent," a relative told The Inquirer last week. "He is not a criminal. Bad people on the Internet changed his mind."...

""I really think he thought this was fantasy," a relative [the same one quoted earlier? - or a different person? - dda] said. "He didn't actually do anything or hurt anybody."

Just how many members of this Pakistani Muslim clan have established themselves in the United States? We don't just have mum dad and four kids including Mohammed (betcha the 'K' is for 'Khan') - we have an unspecified number of 'relatives' of whom one or more is busy spinning as hard as they can in defence of the indefensible.

This is not at all the first time that a Muslim from Pakistan has been caught plotting jihad on United States soil.

I am with Chatillon, above, who inquired, "So this means that Mohammed K. and hs family have failed the citizenship test, yes? Yes? YES???"

and with Elias X, who stated -

"When the U.S. government takes Islam, its tenets, the hate it so easily inspires and justifies, and its supremacist "manifest destiny" seriously, there would be no "recent" Muslim immigrants from Pakistan or other Muslim countries"

and with Isabella, who said - "Stop immigration from countries that are clearly anti-american, anti-West."

Pakistani Muslims have caused enough trouble already, that there seems to me to be an excellent case for ALL countries within the as-yet-relatively-free world to put a flat ban on the admission of even one more Pakistani Muslim onto their soil; and what is more, to begin resolutely deporting back to Pakistan all those who are caught causing trouble, whether by engaging in 'honor' murders and other illegal and immoral sharia-condoned activities, or by engaging in (or abetting) flagrant crime (such as the 'grooming' of underage girls for prostitution - as in the UK), or by fomenting and/ or plotting jihad.

This Mohammed K's family - including those 'relatives' from his extended family who are so busy making excuses for him - should not be granted citizenship, or if they have it, it should be stripped from them. There is no way that they did not have some kind of an idea of what he was up to; not in these sorts of intermarried inbred clans where everybody lives in everybody else's pockets and everyone has his or her nose firmly inserted in everybody else's business, all the time. NOBODY from within his circle dropped the smallest hint to the authorities.

When he's tried, and has served his time, he should be deported, sans citizenship (does he have it? he was not born in America - "The family...emigrated to give their four children a better education") and the entire clan should go with him.

Back to Pakistan with the lot of them. They're too much of a liability. If one member of the clan - at 17! - is already plotting mass-murderous jihad, who knows what other members of the clan may get up to?

Further thought.

Everyone's blaming - and focusing on - the internet.

But I think it would also be worth knowing what mosque his family - including the extended family, those unnamed 'relatives' who feature in the report - attended, or attend, and how devotedly.

From the article:

"Like his siblings, Mohammed excelled in school, winning scholarships based on his creative-writing skills, and was accepted to Johns Hopkins University."

What course was he planning to take?

Would he have linked up with a Muslim Students' Association?

If he hadn't decided - being a hotheaded teenager - to opt for Fast Jihad, what damage might he have later gone on to do, had he acquired good English (or at least, colloquial modern studentspeak) and an outwardly westernised appearance?

I have more questions.

The three siblings - are they boys, girls, a boy and girls or a girl and boys? Are they younger than our would-be jihadist Mohammed, or older?

If older, what are they doing? If he has a nubile sister or sisters are they married, and to whom?

And yet more questions, for the reporters investigating this story.

Do Mohammed K's mum and dad and the 'relatives' wear western dress, or Pakistani Muslim dress?

Does his dad have a beard? Does his dad have a zebibah - the bruise/ callosity on the forehead caused by enthusiastic five-times-a-day headbanging? (Same question applies to brother/s and other male relatives - uncles, cousins).

Does his mum wear the Slave Hood, and if so, what degree of 'cover' is involved? (just the scarf, or the full body-wrap/ face mask?). If he has a sister or sisters, do *they* wear the Slave Hood? Again, take a squiz at any known female relatives in the extended family - how are *they* dressed?

These questions matter.
