Obama said the annual Ramadan dinner, a tradition that President Clinton began and President George W Bush continued, is quintessentially American.

So to you and your families, Ramadan Kareem," he said.

Yes, consider all that Muslim Americans have contributed to the strength and character of our country over the last ten years. The innovations in airport security! The poisoning of the public discourse with "hate" invective against anyone who opposes them! The assault on the freedom of speech! The numerous jihad plots and attacks, from Fort Hood to Times Square to Portland, Oregon to North Carolina! The ever-increasing demands for special accommodation in businesses and schools! The spurious claims of victimhood! And so much more!
Too bad our president couldn't have gone into a bit of historical background, such as our first substantial contact with Islam consisting of our paying extortion so that our citizens would not be captured and enslaved. (We eventually proceeded "to the halls of Tripoli" and made it clear we were no longer paying for "protection.")
Some day, an American President should wax on effusively in praise of the Christian ethos.

I dont call it justice to have one set of unfair laws for non-Muslims to make them feel subdued and humiliated, and one set of laws for Muslims, to make Muslims superior...and, of course, the unfair laws for women. HAhaha yeah maybe diverse races, but all Muslims, with the souteast Asian and African Muslims as the maids and servants and workers, who most of the time are treated as slaves in Saudi and elsewhere that they can get away with it. Your words do not reflect reality Obama! And anyone who looks at Muslim countries and how Muslims behave in non-Muslim countries can see that! I have never head a Muslim criticise these supremacist laws, the atrocities carried out globally by Muslim fighting for political advantage of Islam, I have never heard them honestly criticise it. Yet, they go on and on about their rights in non-Muslim countries. Something fishy there.
Furthermore, you have to earn respect to get it, and Muslims have clearly not earned it, and wish to extract it from us by force, by ensuring to criticise Islam is made a crime, or at the very least a thought-crime. And they have pretty much accomplished that, sadly.

OK, I'll admit I'm not a scholar of American history only have only recently started studying it, but apart from an occasional Morisco or two with the Spanish conquistadors who penetrated what are now Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California, and the posibility that some of the slaves sold into bondage in Africa who wound up in the USA were Muslim, I have yet to come any visible Muslim presence in American history.

What Obama is really saying, whether or not he is aware of it, is that worldwide Muslims are Dreaming of a caliphate (Economist, August 2011), to better spread their primitive (dying) Islamic theo-political ambitions, to bring Sharia for all to obey in submission. "Reflection and a time of devotion" have a sinister ring when it comes to Islam. Better keep a sharp lookout, for danger is about.

Add the pluses and minuses, and I suspect the minuses win hands down. His speech is a reality disconnect, trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Mind the fruit you bite on Ramadan, its sweet coating (and their "devotion") could be a health hazard "in all walks of life", or death.

Just one more example of how historically challenged Obama is, never mind how religiously challenged the guy is, and economically challenged (big time) and legally challenged (e.g., calling the Cambridge, Massachusetts cops "stupid" in the black Harvard professor affair before all the facts were in and before any possible trial might occur) and geographically challenged (57 states) and linguistically challenged ("I don't know what the term is in Austrian") and numerically challenged (claming ten thousand died in a Kansas tornado when, in fact, twelve died) and... Yeah, what a President. For a person who's supposed to have an outstanding intellect he sure messes up a lot. I guess Mr. Hope and Change means we hope that he doesn't change yet more facts to suit his fancy.
Again I would state that a major consideration to be taken into account in any attempt to understand Obama is that there's simply not much there there. He's an empty suit with no original ideas and almost all of his borrowed ideas are wrong. And then are all those factual mistakes of his. What a guy.
Will he ever speak this way for Christianity or Judaism?
Not being an historian, but weren't there more Native Americans (heathens/pagans-no disrespect intended) working with the colonists and throughout the rest of the US history then mus lims.
Don't forget the reduction of unemployment, so many new jobs in Homeland Security are all due to Muslims, and providing them with special accomodations creates new jobs, too, they do a lot for the economy, lol.

I never refer to "Allah" as my Father or Creator. I am Christian and I never heard any other Christian say we are the sons of Allah. Allah considers Christians and Jews as unbelievers as well as apes and pigs.
