As the old saying goes, My brother against my brother, but both of us against our cousin. Rival jihad groups MILF and BIFF (ah, you can't make this stuff up) duke it out in the Philippines: "Hundreds flee Philippines violence," from Reuters, August 10 (thanks to Twostellas):
Hundreds of people fled their homes on a southern Philippine island after fighting erupted between rival Muslim rebel groups, an army spokesman said on Wednesday, raising concern peace talks with the government planned later this month could be affected.Six people were killed and an undetermined number of fighters from both sides wounded in sporadic clashes on Mindanao island since Saturday, said Colonel Prudencio Asto.
The fighting erupted between the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), a separatist group which has been negotiating with the government to end a long-running insurgency, and the breakaway Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF).
The BIFF has rejected the peace process....
Von al Haq, a MILF spokesman, said they have been trying to get the warring groups to withdraw their forces.
"This fighting was purely because of land conflict and has nothing to do with the peace process," al Haq said in a statement posted at the rebel website www.luwaran.com.
"We are confident the peace process will not be affected."
Nearly 400 families had fled the fighting, with most of them temporarily housed in school buildings at the town centre.
Once upon a time, I used to think of the Philippines as a sleepy tropical island semi-paradise...
... but that was befor I knew anything about Islam and it's relentless quest for power.
""This fighting was purely because of land conflict and has nothing to do with the peace process," al Haq said in a statement posted at the rebel website www.luwaran.com."
Islam is a land grabbing entity..
If the Philippines wants to protect their sovereignty and their culture, they are making a serious mistake when they try to negotiate with any of these jihadist groups. Whether it be the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the Bangsamoro Group,or Abu Sayef, it makes no difference. These jihadists will have a never ending determination through their Islamic Supremacist ideology to take over the infidel lands. Any appeasement or negotiating reads as weakness to the jihadists. You would think this predominately Catholic and Christian country (90 percent) would recognize this folly after dealing with these jihadists for nearly 40 years. The predominate Sunni Muslims represent around 7 to 8 percent of the Filipino Population.
So the ummah is not united? How revealing. Evil is never united but truth and true light is. Islam is a demonic house divided and no matter how it SEEMS to be advancing around the world it will be defeated when Truth and Light (ie Jesus) returns to take control of this world and destroy all evil.
Island of the Angry Philipino MILFs? I think I saw this video.
Why does it always happen that when one violent Islamic group starts negotiating another violent Islamic group sprouts out of nowhere?

Ah, that'd be because they have to keep both the jihad and the deception going. Carrot and stick. The jihad is never over but they don't want their enemies to know that, by dangling the carrot of peace they can encourage them to make consessions which will weaken them. But by whipping them with the stick of another jihadi group (who are most likely the same people operating under another name) they can demoralise them while claiming "it wasn't us, we want to make peace".
Mackie, what makes you think the Islamization of the Philippines only goes back 40 years?
Here, take a look: http://www.historyofjihad.org/philippines.html
How the animists of Philippines initially resisted the Islamic Holy Warriors from 1380 onwards and how later they managed to remain a Christian island atop a Muslim Archipelago by fighting off the Muslim incursions of the Moros from Mindanao in the Southern Philippines, especially the mayhem of the Abu Sayyaf.
One would think 100% muslims will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace -- there's supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim:
Afghanistan -- Muslim 100% Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%Somalia -- Muslim 100% Yemen -- Muslim 99.9%.
Of course, that's not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons.

Yes, indeed. Rather gives the lie to the idea of the "peace of Islam", doesn't it? Even if some dhimmi completely caves and works with MILF, along comes BIFF.

How could armed conflict *possibly* affect the peace process? Silly to even consider it...sarc/off

Good point. How common is this? Hamas became a real force when Fatah made some vague gestures toward "peace". Al-Shebab became a real force when the old "Islamic Courts" began to seem marginally less bellicose.

I think that is a big part of it, Tziona. Certainly, outfits like the "Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade" has "plausible deniability" vis-a-vis Fatah (OK, *we* don't find it plausible, but still...).
I believe there is another aspect, though.
Islam is so absolutist, that any time a Jihad group makes peaceful noises—no matter how insincere and merely strategic—that some other Jihad group has to violently oppose it, in part to prove they have even more "Islamic cred" than the other Jihadists.
If ol' Mo had had a Muslim rival faction in the early days of Islam, you might have found them violently denouncing the Treaty of Hudaibiya...
Tziona, you wrote (in answer to Truthiocity's question -

I think you're onto it. Besides carrot and stick, another way to think of it is goodcop/ badcop.
I'm sure everyone here has noticed the way that the local Ummah in, say, the UK or the USA or Australia, when there is yet another jihad plot exposed, always capitalises on it by insisting that if only everyone were nicer to the Muslim 'community', or invested more in the Muslim 'community', or changed the country's foreign policy (i.e. stopped resisting Jihad), then the 'youths' might not be 'radicalised'...which, of course, involves an implicit threat.
And pursuant to my posting above, I think it's high time that governments in Australia, the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada - and the Philippines - and India - STOPPED listening to the Muslim 'goodcops' when (in the wake of the latest jihad terror raid either attempted or achieved) they whine and whisper that all would be peaceful and nice, and the jihad plots would cease being hatched, 'if only' the Infidels would make more accommodations to Islam and Muslims.
The non-Muslim authorities should try the experiment of *ceasing*, or *reducing* their accommodation of the local Muslims, every time there is a jihad assault either attempted or achieved, on non-Muslim soil.
There should have been *less* money spent on ' the Muslim community' in Europe after the London bombings and the Madrid bombings and after the Muslim riots and car-burnings in France and the riots in Malmo.
Every foiled jihad plot in the USA, Canada and Australia should have resulted in *less* 'aid' going to Muslim countries and *less* accommodation of Muslim demands within our own borders.
And that should go for the Philippines, too.
I think the non-Muslim Filipinos - and their government - should simply stop with this farcical 'peace process'.
Tell the Muslims to their faces that they (the Filipino non-Muslims) know all about the jihad imperative, about taqiyya and kitman, about hudna and the Treaty of Hudaybiyya; and that they (the non-Muslims) are simply not going to enter into the pointless exercise of making 'treaties' with Muslims that will be breached the moment the Ummah, or some portion of it, thinks it is strong enough to go for the throat again. Tell them that the game is up, and that no further concessions will be made, nor jizya/ tribute paid, period.
That the law will be enforced.
In the long run, the Phillipines - given the grimly realistic assumption that no Muslim entity either within the Philippines or next door to it can be trusted to keep an agreement nor to be willing to live in permanent peace with the surrounding or neighbouring non-Muslims = has only two options: they will either have to give the Muslims Mindanao (whilst pulling out ALL non-Muslims from that island and requiring ALL Muslims who are elsewhere in the Philippines, such as Manila, to leave and go into the new Muslim state - population transfer, in other words; followed by rigorous and overwhelming self-defence against the jihad that will surely be launched from the newly-Islamised turf, sooner or later); or else they have to increase the turf held by dar al Harb, by driving out every last Muslim from Mindanao - because if you look at the map, you can see that Mindanoa is in fact the biggest, or the second biggest, island in the Archipelago, and its seizure by the Ummah would feed Muslim triumphalism no end and provide a launching pad for ongoing jihad against the rest of the Philippines.
UNMASKING MUHAMMAD
The False Prophet
The Koran is not just a book. Muslims believe that Allah himself wrote it and that it was dictated to Muhammad in the original version, the Umm al-Kitab, which is kept on a table in heaven. Consequently one cannot argue with the contents. Who would dare to disagree with what Allah himself has written? This explains much of Muhammadan behaviour, from the violence of jihad to the hatred and persecution of Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims and apostates. What we in the West regard as abnormal, is perfectly normal for Islam.
A second insuperable problem with Islam is the figure of Muhammad. He is not just anyone. He is al-insan al-kamil, the perfect man. To become a Muslim one must pronounce the Shahada (the Muslim creed). By pronouncing the Shahada one testifies that there is no god that can be worshipped except Allah, and one testifies that Muhammad is his servant and messenger.
The Koran, and hence Allah, lays down that Muhammad’s life must be imitated. The consequences of this are horrendous and can be witnessed on a daily basis.
There has been much analysis of Muhammad’s mental sanity. In spite of all the available research, it is rarely mentioned or debated. It is a taboo to discuss the true nature of the man whom one and a half billion Muslims around the world regard as a holy prophet and example to be followed. That taboo must be breached in the West, and here in the Netherlands.
Ali Sina is an Iranian ex-Muslim who established the organisation for apostates of Islam Faith Freedom International. In his latest book he posits that Muhammad is a narcissist, a paedophile, a mass murderer, a terrorist, a misogynist, a lecher, a cult leader, a madman, a rapist, a torturer, an assassin and a looter (*). Sina has offered 50,000 dollars for the one who can prove otherwise. Nobody has claimed the reward as yet. And no wonder, as the description is based on the Islamic texts themselves, such as the hadiths, the descriptions of Muhammad’s life from testimonies of contemporaries.
The historical Muhammad was the savage leader of a gang of robbers from Medina. Without scruples they looted, raped and murdered. The sources describe orgies of savagery where hundreds of people’s throats were cut, hands and feet chopped off, eyes cut out, entire tribes massacred. An example is the extinction of the jewish Kurayza tribe in Medina in 627. One of those who chopped off their heads was Muhammad. The women and children were sold as slaves. Confronted with the lunacy of Islamic terrorists today, it is not hard to find out where the lunacy comes from.
In Vienna the women’s rights activist Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff was recently sentenced to paying a fine for insulting a religion by calling Muhammad a paedophile. However, that is the truth. Numerous hadiths contain testimonies by Muhammad’s favourite wife, the child wife Aisha. Aisha literally says: “The prophet married me when I was six years old, and had intercourse with me when I was nine.”
According to the historian Theophanes (752-817) Muhammad was an epileptic. Epileptic crises are sometimes accompanied by hallucinations, perspiration form the forehead and foaming at the mouth, the very symptoms which Muhammad displayed during his visions.
In his book “The other Muhammad” (1992) the Flemish psychologist dr. Herman Somers concludes that in his forties the “prophet” began to suffer from acromegaly, a condition caused by a tumor in the pituitary gland, a small organ that is situated just below the brain. When the tumor in the pituitary gland causes too much pressure in the brain, people start to see and hear things that are not there. Somers’s psychopathological diagnosis of Muhammad’s condition is: organic hallucinatory affliction with paranoid characteristics.
The German medical historian Armin Geus speaks of a paranoid hallucinatory schizophrenia. A similar analysis can be found in the book “The Medical Case of Muhammad” by the physician Dede Korkut.
In his book “Psychology of Mohammed: Inside the Brain of a Prophet” Dr. Masud Ansari calls Muhammad “the perfect personification of a psychopath in power.” Muhammad had a unhinged paranoid personality with an inferiority complex and megalomaniac tendencies. In his forties he starts having visions that lead him to believe he has a cosmic mission, and there is no stopping him.
The truth is not always pleasant or politically correct. On the basis of the research referred to above it can be argued that the Islamic creed obliges one and a half billion people around the world, including the one million living in the Netherlands, to take Muhammad as their example. There is no turning back once one has become a Muslim. For even though article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that every person has the right to “change his religion or belief,” in Islam there is a death penalty for leaving the faith.
Anyone who voices criticism of Islam and Muhammad is in grave personal danger – as I have experienced. And whoever attempts to escape from the influence of Islam and Muhammad risks death. We cannot continue to accept this state of affairs. A public debate about the true nature and character of Muhammad can provide insight and support to Muslims all over the world who wish to leave Islam.
Apostates are heroes and more than ever they deserve the support of freedom loving people all over the world. Party politics should not be at play in this matter. It is time for us to help these people by exposing Muhammad.
Geert Wilders is an MP in the Netherlands. He is the Chairman of the Party for Freedom (PVV)
