You guys have a license to be studying the koran? Go down to Room 223 at the State Dept. and ask for Hillary. That'll start the red tape.

Unauthorized reading of muslim materials can get you killed around these parts. Not reading it in the original arabic and taking all those verses out of context is unislamic. What's more, infidels are not allowed to read the koran or hadiths without an iman who is there to tell you that what you just read is not what it seems.

No, this is Infidels - savvy, wary, with commonsense firmly switched ON - studying the Quran.

And not only the Quran, but in many cases the Sira, swathes of the Hadith, the books of and about sharia, and a whole slew of history, Old Books by non-Muslims as well as Old Books written by Muslims but translated for Infidels by clever, sceptical Infidels.

The 'history boys' (and girls) are hard at work, unsupervised by Muslim spin-doctors and da'wa artists, examining the Muslim texts, and Muslim history, and drawing their own conclusions.

Learning the truth, a low tech solution, seems like the most cost effective and efficient protection from Islamization -- but doesn't appear the popular route.

Homeland security has become a popular — and well-funded — area of study. The change has meant new courses, new life for old disciplines, and jobs for graduates.

Frankly, the poetry found in the Koran is not a redeeming enough attribute for any rational person to respect it, no more than should be the poetry found in the Bible. I wish I could live long enough to see the day when men would regard either document with astonished incredulity. “People really believed this stuff?”
