French journalist Caroline Fourest has published a book-length study of Tariq Ramadan's sly duplicity, Brother Tariq. Fourest concludes that this much-lionized putative Muslim Martin Luther is actually anything but a reformer: in reality, Ramadan is "remaining scrupulously faithful to the strategy mapped out by his grandfather, a strategy of advance stage by stage" toward the imposition of Islamic law in the West.
Ramadan, she explains, in his public lectures and writings invests words like "law" and "democracy" with subtle and carefully crafted new definitions, permitting him to engage in "an apparently inoffensive discourse while remaining faithful to an eminently Islamist message and without having to lie overtly -- at least not in his eyes." Ramadan, she said, "may have an influence on young Islamists and constitute a factor of incitement that could lead them to join the partisans of violence."
And remember Muhammad's old adage: "war is deceit."
“'It should be us, with our understanding of Islam, our principles, colonizing the United States of America.' – Tariq Ramadan, Dallas, July 27th 2011," Point de Bascule, August 3 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
On July 27, 2011, Tariq Ramadan gave a speech at a fundraiser organised by the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) in Dallas (TX).GMBDR describes ICNA as “a less well-known part of the Muslim Brotherhood network in the U.S., generally thought to be closely tied to the Jamaat-e-Islami organization of Southeast Asia, itself known to be allied with the Muslim Brotherhood. ICNA is particularly close to the Muslim American Society and the two organizations have been holding joint annual conventions for many years.”
The website voicesempower.com and other American websites have reported on the fact that several ticket holders, who had paid their way to listen to Ramadan in Dallas, were expelled from the conference room. In spite of that, some spectators managed to record Tariq Ramadan’s conference and made it available on YouTube.
Tariq Ramadan’s conference is available in three parts:
Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WDEfVdsr3M
Part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1ElwUjPuHE
Part 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2h5ZDiMQno
The highlight of the conference occurred at the beginning of the first part. Tariq Ramadan enjoins his listeners “not to be colonized” by the consumerist society then added that the Muslims should be the ones “positively” colonizing the United States of America “with our understanding of Islam, with our principles”.
Later, in his conference, Ramadan blamed his critics who refuse to be colonized by him and by those who share his “understanding of Islam”. “What does it mean colonizing?”, Ramadan asked the crowd.
Point de Bascule presents the transcript of the most important excerpts:
Video 1 – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WDEfVdsr3M
03:21
We should all be careful not to be colonized by something which is coming from this consumerist society…
03:37
It should be us, with our understanding of Islam, our principles, colonizing positively the United States of America.04:37
But let me tell you something. On the long run, I’m quite optimistic. I think that Inshallah (inaudible word) our future in the West is going to be a bright future, to be positive.04:52
By the way, we are not here by accident. We are not here by accident.05:54
We are learning how to be a Muslim. It’s difficult, it’s a challenge, it’s a jihad...06:18
On the long run, we also have to think about our contribution. We should be a gift to the United States of America. We should be a gift to the West.06:28
We don’t want the West to be destructed. What we want is the West to be reformed.
Not Islam to be reformed. The West to be reformed.

Who worships this Europe-based Islamic Nazi of the Muslim Brotherhood into the US, where Tariq Ramadan, is the grandson of Hasan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, who was one of Hitler's main collaborator or ADVISER? The ever stupid and evil Western Left of course!
CORRECTION: Who worships this Europe-based Islamic Nazi of the Muslim Brotherhood, where Tariq Ramadan, is the grandson of Hasan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, who was one of Hitler's main collaborator or ADVISER? The ever stupid and evil Western Left of course!
l can't wait for the obama regime to end.. and this parasite tarig ramadan ding dong will be kicked out of the US!
Love the cover photo that looks like he's picking his nose.
At least he 'allows' his photo to be taken. Perhaps he should go to Toronto and tell is misunderstanding coreligionists that it's OK.

Of course he doesn't want the West destructed, there would be no one to pay the jizya.
But if the reformer is Islam, the West reformed, is the West ruined.
Obama administration has allowed this Muslim liar and hypocrite to enter the country. Why??
Whose side this administration is - American people or its enemies? Answers are obvious!
Americans have to wake up and throw this regime out in 2012.
"06:18
On the long run, we also have to think about our contribution. We should be a gift to the United States of America. We should be a gift to the West."
Islam a gift to America and the West, my foot!
What delusion!! Doesn't he know that Islam and Muslims are scourge on humanity for last 1400 years and they need to change before it's too late!!
Colonization means sedition, subversion, sabotage, thuggery, coercion and intimidation.
Islam can only maintain itself by terror and intimidation , with the most violent sociopaths rising to dominate their dysfunctional communities. As the cult is devoid of any rational, aesthetic, ethical or cultural content, without constant thuggery and intimidation there would be nothing left, and decent people would leave it in droves.
Quite correct, classicus. A West remade by Islam is a West that is no more the West. Let's hope that future generations of Muslims in the West see how ridiculous Islam is, what a brutal fraud Mohammed was and how horribly restrictive Islamic law is. In short, one of the keys to destroying Islam's designs for the West is to have large numbers of Muslims leave this awful religion. Western ideals must eventually trump Islamic ideals. Stopping Muslim immigration wouldn't hurt either. Much work to be done before Islam's parasitical and totalitarian designs are thwarted.
Let's hope that future generations of Muslims in the West see how ridiculous Islam is...
The prospects that the Moslem Mind Meld can be reversed is remote.
More likely they'll evolve into "cultural Moslems," which is great, but they'll still be ingrate welfare mooches who frown at the hand that feeds them.
The grand master of double-speak, Tariq Ramadan, the torchbearer and grandson of the founder of the "moderate" Muslim Brotherhood, is in good form.
He worries about the growing (and rational) perception in the West "that Islam is an alien religion" and a threat to society.
Yet, he has no problem saying:
"It should be us, with our understanding of Islam, our principles, colonizing positively the United States of America."
The future of Islam in the West may be bright, but it could also go the way of Islam in "Andalusia, Sicily, the Balkans, the Italian coast, as well as the islands of the Mediterranean;" i.e., those places Muslim armies conquered and colonized but from which they were expelled (and which your grandfather believed should be returned "to the Islamic fold" prior to contaminating all of humanity with the perversity and destructiveness of your faith).
Well, Ikhwan Tariq, some "gifts" are best left unopened or, after having been opened and found to be unhealthy, useless, and a danger, tossed in the garbage.
Puke, puke, puke. Colonization is a strong word with volatile implications. Sounds like Ramadan is encouraging sedition, although muslims need little encouragement for that. If muslims were here to be loyal American citizens, they wouldn't flock to seminars to listen to the likes of this slimeball and all the other incendiary, jihad-inciting, hardline clerics and 'scholars'. I hate islam.
And the ignorant, appeasing political 'elite' of the West will continue to defer to Mr Ramadan, whose aim is to Islamize the West, by all means possible.
As an admirer of Martin Luther (although much closer to Huldreich Zwingli, Heinrich Bullinger, Jean Calvin, and John Knox among the reformers), I think that the people who spend their time looking for a "Muslim Martin Luther" understand neither the Protestant Reformation nor Islam.
As for Muslim colonization of the Americas, I have been praying for an increasing exodus of Muslims from their ancestral cult, and that the tribe of Nabil Qureshi, Mehmet and Fatih Caner, Patrick Sookhdeo, etc. might increase and increase.
Then again, if we want a "Muslim Reformation", maybe the reformer the Muslims need is a Menno Simons.
Ramadan is no real moderate
The number of if few.By moderate I mean a person who believes in human rights(especially Freedom of Speech) with no ifs, buts,or maybes,
I know of only 2 Muslim intellectuals who would be,I think,in that group. One was the founder of the Replubican Brothers in Sudan, who was later hung for apostasy
The other is the grandson of the Ayatollah Khomeini, who wants the US to invade Iran and establish a secular government, separation f Mosque and State

OT
I got kicked out of an "Embracing Diversity" (ie Muslim da'wa) workshop for teachers yesterday. I defended a teacher who asked why, when there was only one Muslim present and he was fasting, the rest of us were given halal food to eat for lunch. He was told he had a "choice" (ie eat it or go without.) And I had already criticised a teacher who talked about "my truth" and "your truth" (you know the kind of thing.)
We were told not to argue, and he left and I kept arguing (it was lunchtime by then) and the Muslim presenter said I should go and the teachers told me I HAD TO go.
The presenter, a smooth talker not unlike Tariq Ramadan in delivery, disliked my question about what Mohammed had done about "diversity" in his region.
All very unpleasant. The teachers were tools who would probably have beaten me up if their adored Muslim "Islam educator" had asked them to.
This Muslim Brotherhood weasle has been driven out of every country he has tried to spread his poison in.
The state dept tried to prevent him from coming to this country. They knew all about him.
Paul Berman in The Flight of the Intellectuals said that once French feminists actually payed attention to what was coming out of his venemous pie hole they refused to have anything do with him.
The remaining leftists and intellectuals who do support him do so because they have only read descriptions of a few things he has said that were selectively chosen by other people. The other reason is that he comes across as sort of hip. Believe me. I've known a lot of leftists and librals and seeming hip is far far more important than what one actually says.
The reason he left France is because people finally stopped listening to what others were claiming he said and started paying attention to what he was actually saying. After that...
For a time he also was in Rotterdam. In 2005 he was in attendance for conferences held on the problems of Islam, organised by people of the same persuasion as Geert Wilders, so examining Islam critically but still openly enough to allow Tariq Ramadan. I was there, I noticed a huge crowd of Rotterdam's Muslims, about a 1000 maybe. I remember that Ramadan encouraged them to feel "Not Moroccan or Turkish, but Dutch". And letting children go to the mainstream schools and not promoting "Islamic schools". So he sounded like a bridgebuilder then. And later on, he promoted the same attitude towards a group of students, primarily Muslims in Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
Where he later became some paid adviser or expert on bridgebuiling between the Islamic culture and the West. But he was sent packing when he became controversial, first by working for the Iranian TV (on which he claimed to have a moderating influence) and later by revelation of his tapes with his attitude towards homosexuals. Dutch homosexuals wrote vehemently against him. And he was let go.
At first he seemed like a good bridgebuilder to me and many, but later on I and others came to see that he really never gave up on any solid Islamic principle and that he really was a disappointment for helping Muslims really integrate well. He never really "delivered", only obfuscated, he was always only being an apologist. Douglas Murray and Ayaan Hirsi Ali debated against him very well.
I don't think he'd be allowed into Canada that easily anymore!
Seems to me that Canada is getting wiser to the BS these types Of A-holes are pushing! We have 4 years to clean things up in Canada....let's get going with first having the Islamic Pseudo-religion being called what it is...a seditious political party!
PJG
good on you.
At least you tried.
And you never know. Maybe some of the things you said will stick in the minds of the others there, and come back to them in future. By the grace of the real God, they may wake up after all.
Keep trying and don't give up.
I clicked on the link provided, and read the lot.
Y'know, I think the rise of the Islam-resisters in Europe - the people like Geert Wilders - has got him rattled.
Excerpt:
"This is the narrative behind. This is the narrative behind. The rationale behind is to make it clear: Islam is not a Western religion. You are the other. And this is what we have been facing.
"And in fact, for years we had the populists and we had the far-right parties saying this. The problem and be careful is not only the rise of the populist parties. The problem that we are facing in Europe is the normalization of this discourse among all the other parties.
01:40 What yesterday was said by the far-right parties and the populists now is said by all the parties.
"That Islam is an alien religion. That, as Muslims, what you want is to colonize the country. You want to change the very essence of our culture as Westerners and Western countries. This is the rationale of all the discourses.
02:03 And it spreads around fears. People are full of mistrust with Muslims. 75% of the French when they hear Islam, they think about violence. Now, this is what we are facing."
In other words: our cover's been blown, in Europe. The game may well be up...
More. Read his take on Breivik very carefully. It's rattled him. Remember, he is talking to *Muslims* at an event that is largely 'in-house'.
[Then Tariq Ramadan referred to the Norway massacre and implied that those who criticize Islam are paving the way for more killings.]
"The atmosphere is negative. So, anyone who is following the trend could do something which is extreme, extremist and he can kill."
At one level he seems to be speaking in an aside to those criticising Islam; but it can be read another way - he's telling *Muslims* that it's getting dangerous. Again, he's rattled.
Europe isn't proving to be quite the pushover he and his mates thought it would be...
And America is toughening up, too.
"In eighteen (U.S.) states, and now up to twenty-two, we have people who want bills against the sharia implementation. You might think that they are not going to win and in many states they are not going to win. But in fact, they don’t want to win. This is not the purpose. The purpose is to spread around the fact that Islam is a danger. There is a threat so the atmosphere is there."
END QUOTES.
My comment - to all you folks in the USA, Canada, continental Europe, the UK, who have been feeling discouraged, and wondering if it's worth it to keep trying, keep raising the alarm...DON'T BE . Keep at it. Be louder. Hold your rallies. Write to your politicians. Talk to your neighbours and your family and your friends and your workmates and the people you worship with and the people you play sport with. It *is* worth it. It *is* making a difference.
Because your enemy, Tariq Ramadan, can feel the turn of the tide of the times, the hanging of the wind, and it's *worrying* him.
Correction to the above. Typo.
For "the turn of the tide of the times, the hanging of the wind" read "the turn of the tide of the times, the changing of the wind...".
Much more dangerous even than Tariq Ramadan is one Fethullah Gulen, who's been cosily ensconced in the lap of luxury in a very nice rural estate in the USA for **years**.
**He's ** the one whose immediate deportation U S citizens should be demanding.
He's **dangerous**.
