Earlier this year, Hollywood cancelled making a movie in Sweden about Jews, because they estimated that "Sweden [is] a VERY unsafe place for the Jewish community due to the large and increasingly hostile community of Muslims.” During the 2nd World War, Sweden was a safe haven for Jews. Now Jews have to flee Sweden because of Muslim immigrants' hateful and violent anti-Semitism.
Finally, the Swedish government takes action. Not by limiting immigration of Islamic supremacists, but by spending a (ridiculously small) amount of money on the "protection of Jews":

I don't understand such foolishness on the part of Sweden, though it is a part to say the least. Why didn't they just purchase M-16's for the Jews to protect themselves? What they need to come to aknowledge is that it is the Muslims there that are not conducent to the Swedish way of life and stop immigration of any more possible threats to Sweden's security and stability. But then that would make them out to be Islamophobia's, right? What craziness!

The explosion of Jew hatred among ordinary Christian Scandinavians has been baffling to me.
All my life I've thought of Scandinavia as one of the world's best patches. And I've never heard of any major horrible upheaval in Scandinavian culture. The more fool I, I suppose.

There's more to the story than that.
The Scandinavians did not undergo a religious conversion between WWII and today that would account for a growth of Jew hatred.
In addition, the general trend in the Catholic church is toward greater amity with the Jews, not the other way. So it seems that developments in Scandinavia are running in the opposite direction from those in the Vatican.
I am also not sure how much of Scandinavia belongs to the Roman Catholic church. I would expect a strong protestant presence there.
Finally, European anti-semitism rarely rose to the levels that we see in the mohammedan sphere today. Was is there? Yes. Was it strong? Yes. Was it normal and respectable? Yes.
Was it sanctioned by literal directives in the basic religious canon? Absolutely not.

There's something else going on in Scandinavia that has to be accounted for. And as I said above, it's not just an influx of Jew hating barbarians. There has to be something going on among the native Scandinavian peoples and native Scandinavian culture.

Indeed it's called fear and ignorance. Sweeden is not alone in these two responses. The basic weapon of Islam is to install fear in all non-Muslim person no matter where they are.
Mix that with ignorance and you have a full blown cultural change if not war. Sweeden will likely become over 25% Islamic within 10 years. Not by choice, but by submission and appeasement. It's natural for Christians, Jews and most religions to be good nieghbors and care about one another. The problem is Islam takes that as being weak and afraid.
So the more free countries try to appease Islam, the more Islam will take that as a weakness. It only incourages them to continue with their terroristiced actions.
Bottom line is "Islam has a mission in mind. This same mission is 1400 years old. It is to conqure the world in the name of Allah, by any means neccessary". It makes no difference if you believe it, or like it, or don't like it. That is Islams mission and goal since 750 A.D..

I wonder sometimes what our medieval and classical ancestors would think at the foolishness of their descendent in dealing with an enemy. I can just imagine a gigantic Germanic warrior (or Viking, or Gothic Knight, or Condottieri or, Roman or Spartan pick your poison) just hiding their faces in shame FOR us.
My Roman history is rusty but wasn't there a dictator/tyrant who took power in a bloodbath and ended up saving Rome from itself. Eventually handing the Empire back to the Senate after 10 years and retiring? His name escapes me.
