As for the press, other than a brief honest article in "la Provence", there was no mention of the "intifada" (war of stones) attacks against the Christian religious community at Nîmes.

Sounds like the U.S., where as far as the mainstream media is concerned, actual hatred and supremacism is portrayed as righteous victimhood, and freedom fighting is depicted as "hatred" and "bigotry."

Don Bosco was famous for outreach to delinquents and poor street kids, and for rehabilitating them through love and education. Somehow I doubt they would have any luck with these violent Muslim stone-throwers, though...

These young muslim immigrants can only be described as scum. Soon, very soon, the patience of the free world will reach the end point. One day when incidents of this type happen with more regularity, citizens will no longer accept such behavior.
The war will then beign. Time is growing short. Patience no longer exists.
Silence in the face of such provocation is seen by jihadis as tacit acceptance and like any bully they'll ramp up the attack until they get a reaction.

Why were not the Mohammedan stone-throwing thugs arrested?
If the authorities were afraid that arresting these Arab Muslim 'youths' would lead to Mohammedan riots, then the army should have been notified so as to be ready the moment the riots began.
Then arrest not only the young thugs but the rioters who swarm out to 'protect' and 'defend' their murder-minded spawn.
Having stopped the riots by all means necessary, the next move would be to cross-check every single item in the 'bag' for 1. identity - citizenship? immigrant? illegal immigrant? 2. presence in the social security record...double-check for fraudulent dealing 3. cross-check, for probable criminal record.
Then begin the deportations.
Stone-throwing is not trivial. It is attempted murder.
Even a very small stone, if it hits the right place - and I'll bet these Mohammedan thugs know where those places are, and aim for them - can kill.
And this should come as a surprise to anyone who has a modicum of knowledge as to how arrive as France as it has in the last 40-45 years since the end of WWII.
They the French expected to go home all these muzlum so called workers who would help them rebuild after the Third World II. This is war plain and simple. Muslims are proving over and over, ad infinitum they are not here to join our culture, they're here to destroy it and be our conquerers and overlords. Any good, wise leader would be able to see this clearly by now and start dealing very aggressively with such groups.
Unfortunately I don't think anything will be done until muslims begin killing thousands or millions of innocent people or take over the state and start imposing Islam. At that point people will do anything and everything to get 'rid' of muslims if you catch my drift.

Islam is on the path to become the most hated religion in all of history. I for one welcome this. It's so deserved and it will expedite the marginalization of this wretched religion over the course of this century to the fringes of societies where only losers and confused human beings exist. But, remember that French people gave up their rationality when they allowed muslims to have enclaves in France where non-muslims were not allowed to enter.
The French State did nothing to dismantle these enclaves and the French State will do nothing to arrest, check, deport any of these thugs.

I'm more optimistic about mankind's fate than you are, PMK. No way all the West is going to become dominated by Islam. Jeremy, just a casual look back through the Jihad Watch archives will show you that most of us here are very aware of Israel's plight, and very sympathetic to it as well.
What Dumbledore's Army says above is quite correct. The Jihad threat is global, and we are well aware that Israel is on the front lines.
