What crap. Until quite recently, the Muslim world barely felt the existence of big corporations at all—and Muslim societies were *still* poor as dirt except for a tiny group of Caliphs, kings, warlords, and courtiers.

It has in fact been the growth of such that has—for good or ill—allowed some wealth in the region, either through oil or "foreign aid"—both sources of which lie in the civilized West.

In Afghanistan, for instance, after *ten years* of Americans and other Westerners' attempts to build infrastructure and encourage trade, *97%* of that country's economy is American aid.

Those protests were organized by Stanley Greenberg, a democratic strategist.

They appeared to be secularists and it appears to not have anything directly to do with the Palestinian issue. So "whatevah".

The Pro GZM protest last year was organized by a Democratic Strategist and proffessional astroturfer who had worked for democratic presidents.

There is something to this story. There is a segment of Wall Street protesters who have been documented making anti-semitic comments. Nothing stirs a muslims' loin faster that somebody bashing the Jews. Does the majority feel that way? No, I don't think so but those who are there certainly aren't keeping the anti-semitism on the down low.

Either way, both the protestors and the islamists want the same thing, to bring the West to their knees and make them submit. They just have a different vision of the end game, neither good.

The reference to "solitary confinement conditions" is to the Pelican Bay facility, where California prisoners who have proven themselves *too hard-core for San Quentin* are housed. These are prisoners so violent that they cannot refrain from attacking their own guards and fellow prisoners.

This is what these foolish Hikers are comparing to their own conditions as innocent hostages in tyrannical Iran. Idiocy.

I am extremely glad that these Americans are no longer rotting in an Iranian prison under the Mullahs.

But there is no doubt that this trio are the worst sort of tools. What an embarrassment.
