Obama State Dept offers condolences to Khan family for killing al-Qaeda traitor Samir Khan

By all means send condolences to the bereaved relatives of all such traitors. The more the better.

No apologies, no compensation, and no judicial inquiries.

Well, I hope this doesn't sound contrary, but I'm far happier that the US killed Khan and offered apologies, than if it didn't kill him and didn't offer apologies.

I would not be unhappy if the US offered apologies for killing Osama bin Laden. Again, it would be far better to kill him and offer apologies than to not kill him and not apologize.

I would not be unhappy if we bombed Iran's nuclear facilities and offered apologies.

I think we should withdraw all military aid from Pakistan and apologize for it.

I think we should block all Muslim immigration, and apologize strongly for such a discriminatory act.

Did not al-qaida declare war on the big satan? If so, then what's the problem? Obviously this guy's allegiances lie elsewhere.

Perhaps the answer is for the State Dept. to issue a blanket statement, by way of public service messages in papers and over the airways, that American citizens aligned with our enemies in both their thoughts and deeds, forfeit the right for due process protection under the U.S. Constitution, and that anyone aiding or abetting such individuals (such as this miscreant's parents, lawyers and clerics) are fully culpable should said turncoat carry out an act resulting in the death of innocent Americans, either at home or abroad.

No aplologies will satisfy the Muslims until we apologize for our existence and promise to end it ASAP.

This young man became a traitor to his country. He lived here, enjoyed the benefits and decided he would rather join those who kill, steal and destroy (the work of the devil). When you join those who are sworn to kill Americans and you get killed yourself the gov't does not owe you anything. If anything, the family should apologize to every family that lost a young man or woman, or who had one that came home injured or disabled. I am sick and tired of the gov't apologizing to those who would see every man, woman and child of this great nation lying dead in the street.

When the Red Chinese Communist government executes one of its many internal "enemies" (*) it adds further humiliation to the family of the executed by sending a bill for the cost of the bullet used. And they expect to be paid.

I suggest, for at least this case, that the State Dept drop with the apologies and send a bill for $150,000 (just to choose a number) to these Muzzie parents for all the trouble their son has caused. (Likely this amount should be considerably greater; drones, ordnance, and operators aren’t cheap.}

My only question is why not send the family back the pieces of his body? Cruel you say .... not really, the "911" family members received only pieces of their loved ones back to bury. Christians in the middle east have the horror of receiving the bodies of their loved ones returned, showing the violent vicious torture and death of their loved ones. Also, Christians in Iraq had to endure not only the murder of their children, but the task of removeing their little ones bodies off of crosses they had been nailed to (in front of their homes no less). Lastly, many of our service men and women who have died in this "war on terror" only receive pieces of their loved ones to bury.

So, I ask you why the kid gloves for the parents of this muslim traitor? Who was planning with Anwar al-Awlaki and others the deaths of others, including Americans?

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Khan,

You have the dubious distinction to be parents of a traitor who incited to violence among his fellow citizens. Right-minded people in your position would be filled with shame and regret.
They might be asking themselves if their failure as parents factored into his demise.
They might be asking if the violent advancement of islam was worth their precious son's life. Where did our son go so wrong? These questions (and their obvious answers) are apparently beyond your ken.

If it's any comfort, millions of Americans are rejoicing at the demise of the traitor Al-Awlaki and his bomb-making sidekick. Even YOU are safer now, but you can't be expected to understand that.

Perhaps Obama should invite the family over to the WH for a meal and an after dinner chuckle at the ease with which the infidels can be manipulated.

I hope that Khan's family is being investigated for complicity in their son's actions. Such an investigation need not and should not be made public until all evidence has been carefully gathered.
