I've noticed that virtually all Islamic jihad murderers and would be murderers say pretty much exactly the same thing. Of course it's because they're all following the same playbook -- which is available for all to see, plain and clear. The only variable is how much the mainstream media either tries to avoid reporting it or whitewash it.

Because of the tireless efforts of Robert Spencer and company, and the overwhelming, ongoing jihad that cannot be distorted by political correctness because of its volume, it seems that at least we've moved away from the bizarro world mainstream media black-outs of just a few years ago. It is interesting what he says. How he interprets the Koran. And that he seems to be telling the world what Islam is, what tenets it has and what religious duties that gives to Muslims. He seems to be one of the very many Muslims who think that there is only one True Islam and not a variety of legitimate interpretations/ versions of Islam. Otherwise he would have said something like: "according to my version of Islam I believed ..... and therefore acted as I did."

We counterjihadist know all the Islamic holy texts too. They are unchangeable. But then we have the interpretation of them by the Islamic schools of thought and the late mr Awlaki. We know all of that too. And they indeed are like the underwear bomber.

But, when questioned, the Muslims, the apologists and even many leftist and christian defenders of Muslims AND Islam keep saying that this sort of texts and fanatics there are also inside Christianity and every religion.

They mean that these Christians and other religious people have interpreted these horrible anti-democratic texts in a beneficial way, perhaps by ignoring the horrible parts, that there are different legitimate interpretations in Christianity + other religions.

And that it is the same with Muslims. All depends on interpretation, the defenders of Muslims and Islam say. and they assume most interpretations are absolutely neutral.

But the first question I want to ask from these Muslim- + Islam-defenders is: Do you still defend the idea that there is only "one true Islam" as opposed to the idea that there are diverse legitimate versions of Islam.

Because if people accept that there is only "one true Islam" then it should not be interpreted in soooo many different ways. But it is and either the so-called peaceful moderate Muslims are interpreting Islam right or the Jihadists like the schools of thought, Awlaki and Umar here are.

And the misunderstanding of this true Islam is then monumental, either way; there are far too many jihadists or, if they are the right believers, there are far too many lax, misunderstanding peaceful Muslims.

We must pressurize Muslims into the admittance that there may be divers legitimate versions of Islam. And not let them get away unchallenged with any of them saying: "Islam means this, Islam demands this, prohibits that" in an absolute way. No Muslim should be allowed to speak thus on behalf of all the other Muslims. Because then Islam is ludicrously misunderstood and therefore really criminally unclear.

But if it is acknowledged there are divers Islam-versions than one version can be demanded from Muslims that actually makes true that Muslims from at least one version are democraticy-compatible.

And it is the responsibility of democratic citizens to demand the formation of such a democracy-compatible Islam-version. So, that if Muslims can't or won't comply, then other Westerners can see more clearly how hypocritical and wrong Muslims and defenders of Muslims and Islam really are.

IMO the best way to counter this militancy is to discredit the absurd Koran itself. I think it's easy, you just have to be ready for the lame explanations of the fact that:

The Qur'an teaches that the sun, like the moon, orbits the earth! (Q 21:33 and Q 36:40)
That the earth is flat with mountains simply placed on it (Q 15:19 – forget plate tectonics)!
That the sun goes down in a muddy lake surrounded by a mystery population (muddy sun worshipers?) Q 18:83-86
That sperm originates between the back and the ribs (Q 86:6-7), not the testis.

The interesting thing about this, is that despite the horror that would have ensued had the bomb worked as intended, the vulgar Western mind is convulsed with laughter at the mental image of flaming and exploding underpants (and the poetic justice of the plot's *failing*, roasting and toasting only the would-be mass-murderer's own masculine attributes, adds to the entertainment). So what are we to believe that Islam is the religion of peace, or the above teachings of the Koran?

The ideology of Islam is a dual belief where both are true. Islam always has an answer to our questions because Islam has been doing this for 1400 years.

There are two laws, one is the law of the nation or state. While the other is the Law of Sharia. Sharia always is the only law Islam will obey. Let me say that again, Islam will only obey Sharia Law no matter what....

The first part is a description of Jihad being "Fard Ayn", or incumbent on every able-bodied Muslim to kill Infidels—rather than merely "Fard Kalifa", which means it is enough if *some* members of the Ummah are killing Infidels.

And the second part of this is Qur'an 9:5, the infamous "Sura of the Sword":
