Christians in imminent danger across the world are refused refugee status while Muslim refugee immigration goes unimpeded

Over at Atlas Shrugs, Pamela Geller provides inside information on an all-too predictable and patently unjust Obama Administration practice:

US policy regarding the refugee resettlement program would shock most Americans if they only knew. The UN picks who becomes US refugees. Christians are being refused refugee status and face persecution and many times certain death for their religious beliefs under the sharia, while whole Muslim communities are entering the US by the tens of thousands per month despite the fact that they face no religious persecution.
It is horrifying that Afghan Christians are being refused refugee status by the UN and many Western nations, including Britain. The UN claims that Afghan Christians do not meet the criteria for refugees under Statute 6B of the UN High Commission of Refugees (UNHCR), which requires refugees to have "a well founded fear of persecution by reason of his race, religion, nationality or political opinion."

Since 1976, millions of new citizens have entered America as legal humanitarian refugees, according to reports of the US State Department. The Somalis are certified as "humanitarian refugees" under our State Department rules. Whole Muslim communities are imported into the United States, and they are supported by social services provided by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The cities who receive these huge numbers are determined by Refugee Councils. And yet back in October 2008, Muslim UN employees were "discouraging" applications for resettlement from the desperate Christian Iraqis. The Christian Iraqi population has since been decimated. By buying into the argument that Islam is a religion of peace and ignoring the penalties for apostasy, we are sentencing thousands of Christians to martyrdom and forcing others to live in the shadows in dire poverty. We need to demand that our government provide protection and asylum for Christian apostates.

It is shamefull that the US doesn't allow Iraqi Christians in to the country because unseating Saddam Hussein simply allowed unrestained violence against the tiny Christian minority. This reminant has fled the country to neighboring Syria etc where they await their fate in refugee camps. The US is thus partially responsible for this unrestianed evil against them.
The good news is that Canada is allowing 10000 Iraqi Christians into the country under sponsership of individual churches. We are expecting our refugee family NEXT WEEK!

You are perfectly correct that the criminally-negligent policies of the Bush administration, which not only deposed Saddam Hussein, but systematically destroyed all elements of social control in Iraq, is primarily to blame for the plight of the Christians in Iraq.

More generally, it is literally suicidal for the US or any Western country to surrender its sovereignty to the UN, the EU, the International Court, or any other international body. Allowing in unskilled refugees unable to cope with a modern, technological society, and schooled only in Islam, guarantees more criminal behavior and welfare dependence in the future. This does not take into account systematic violence and terrorism by Muslims following the violent doctrines of mainstream Islam.

Under Saddam Hussain,Iraqi Christians were living peacefully.Even Saddam's right hand man was a Christian. But when USA took over Iraq,and subdued Saddam,the Christians were the target of the local Sunnis and Shias.They buldozed churches,and chased away Christian families,who were living there since the time of Christ.So in fact AMERICA IS THE CAUSE FOR THE PLIGHT OF THESE CHRISTIAN CALAMITY IN IRAQ.Why the religious leaders in Amercia are of no use for these poor Christians,who are facing life threats daily in Iraq,Pakistan and now in Egypt.
Church influencial people like Paster Hagee,Benny Hinn,and the bishops of both Catholic and protestant churches should meet the white house Sultan Obama and DEMAND for the intake of these persecuted people as refugees.The Republicans in the Congress should press for the intake of Christians under refugee status. We take in Somali Muslims,who show their gratitude by acting as Enemies within,and are posing as a danger to us. At least, if we takein these Christians,they will be faithfull to the country. UN is compleatly under the Islamic influence..

This has been going on for some time. Political correctness is more important than the lives of non-Muslims. If Muslims weren't involved people would be calling the treatment of non-Muslims in Islamic countries, genocide. As it is you are called an Islamaphobe and hate monger if you bring it up. History will not look kindly on this policy, as it makes us an assessory to mass murder. One would think that we would have learned something from WWII when we sent Jews back to Nazi Germany.

One word of thanks for the Harper governmentof Canada for boldly taking in thousands of Iraq refugees into Canada.In so many respects, USA should follow the lead by Canada-let it be of Health care,or foreign polcy,or Regugee in take into Canada. Canada also rejected the statehood plan of Palestine in the UN assembly. Canadians are lucky people..

If you haven't already done so, your parish church should add three books to its library, pronto: Bat Yeor's "The Dhimmi: Jews and Christians Under Islam", and "The Decline of Eastern Christianity Under Islam", and Rev Dr Mark Durie's "The Third Choice: Islam, Dhimmitude, and Freedom". The clergy and parishioners who feel up to tackling fairly dense scholarly writing *must* read the Bat Yeor tomes; everyone in the parish aged 17 and upwards should read the Durie book, slowly and attentively, and discuss, and reflect upon it.

Then you will be equipped to help your Iraqi Christians. Their mental condition will be similar to that of a young girl who has been 'groomed' and enslaved by a violent S & M pimp; or that of a child or adult who has escaped a situation of severe, prolonged familial abuse. They have survived, and physically escaped; but the hard work of undoing the mental warping has barely begun. They may not necessarily be able to face up to the full extent of what they and their forebears have been through. It is at least highly probable that they may be in very deep denial about the real cause of the atrocious treatment they have suffered from Muslims in their country; let alone about the fact that that abuse has been going on - off and on, sometimes extreme, sometimes less severe - for over a millennium.

Pray for them, give them lots of nonverbal practical support, help them feel safe, make sure they *are* safe...and keep Muslims well away from them. And be prepared to listen and cry with them when the stories finally start tumbling out. If you have psychologists or counsellors in your community who have a track record of being able to help heal the survivors of severe, prolonged abuse - who know how to help battered spouses and physically/ sexually abused children - make sure you have them on standby for when they are needed.

And if your refugees feel safe enough to express *rage* at their Muslim tormentors: let them. For centuries, they were not permitted to complain, not permitted to resist, not permitted to recognise that what was being done to them was *evil*.

If and when they finally feel confident enough - as the emigre Copts in Australia are doing - to start rallying and protesting and marching and lobbying publicly on behalf of their brethren still stuck in the Predator Pit, and feel able to beard the Iraqi Ambassador in his den and ask him hard questions (the Copts in Australia have done this to the Egyptian official representatives), then **every Christian** and indeed every person, Christian or not, who cares about justice, in Canada, should be lined up right behind them.

What bothers me as a non-Christian who is worried and offended about any violations of human rights is the virtual silence with which Christians in general seem to handle the persecution of their fellow-believers.

When the Soviet Union denied Jews the right to leave the socialist paradise, or openly practice Judaism or propogate Jewish culture, Jews throughout the world applied every political and social media at hand to pressure the Evil Empire to "Let my people go!" When thirteen Jews in Shiraz, Iran were arrested and charged with "espionage" simply for operating a non-approved underground Torah study group, such a cry arose that the Iranian authorities were eventually forced to relent and let most of the accused go free.

I want to see Christians (and everyone!) put up such a huge protest against these abuses that the world will be forced to take notice. I ask Christian co-workers if their ministers and churches address these issues and I've been generally answered in the negative. One local church did invite Walid Shoebat to lecture; but that is only one church out of scores in this area.

What happens to one does indeed effect us all.

Christians around the world need to unite in fight of this blatant discrimination and apartheid practiced by the Muslims countries and UN.
Many Muslim countries had refused to sign the Universal Declaration of Human Rights since their sharia laws and dictatorial regimes are incompatible in insuring human rights to their citizens. All those countries should be expelled from the UN rather then giving them a stage to spout their vile medieval voices while enjoying the benefits of living in UN.

Also, antisemites and Holocaust deniers, such as Ahmedinijad and Mahmoud Abbas, should not be allowed US visas. US can start by refusing visas to all the diplomats from the countries that had not signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Naturally, there is also US hypocrisy because of dependence on Iranian and Saudi oil and weapons producers market for their clients in Muslims countries and others around the world who are equally responsible for the sorry state of world affairs.

When US and Europe become independent of fossil fuels from Muslim countries and other questionable regimes (Venezuela and Russia), then we have a change of solving problem of terrorism and tyrannies, which are maintained by UN and US money for oil. Only when we become completely green and sustainable, we will be able to create a just world based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and those medieval evil regimes that had made countries Juden-frei and now are cleansing Christians out, will disappear into the sand heaps of history.

Hello, Christains have been fair game for jihadists for centuries. It isn't like this just started last month. Get out of there.

I wouldn't live in an Islamic country if they told me I could be the King. After all of the beheadings, bombings, sickening treatment of women and non-Muslims there is no way I'd live in one of those countries. I'd rather march down the dividing line on the freeway singing "This land is my land, this land is your land".

How can the non-Muslims be so ignorant for for so long?

And therein lies the rub. We'd be hard pressed to find any "Profiles in Courage" in today's Congress or even among the states' and commonwealths' legisatures or courts.
As to those who see their churches sponsor people as John shares with us, that's encouraging (in face of the fact that we admitting in so many without sponsorship or even knowing what side of a struggle they were.)
UN can name someone a political refugee; then just impose them on a country's quota.
There's immigration, illegal immigration and then there's infiltration - which I find this to be.
