Shocker: Muslim Brotherhood has big lead in elections, Salafists making strong showing

Buying votes and setting up their own stations at polling places to "show people how to vote" has probably helped. "Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood in the lead, press," from ANSAMed, November 30:

(ANSAmed) - CAIRO - The Muslim Brotherhood are the top party in Egypt according to the first reports by local press outlets. While vote counting continues for the uninominal part of the first post-Mubarak parliamentary elections, indications show that the Freedom and Justice party, which is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Salafi party coalition Al Nour are in the lead in six governorates, according to the daily paper Al Ahram. According to the daily Al Shouruk, Freedom and Justice raked in 47% of the votes while the secular and moderate Egyptian Bloc coalition received 22%. In the first round of voting, which ended yesterday, the residents of nine governorates cast their votes, including those in Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Asyut and Port Said.(ANSAmed).

A democracy is only as good as the values that inform its participants.

Isn't it sadly ironic that Hosni Mubarak, born less than two months from the birth of the Moslem Brotherhood, said that he was the only alternative to the Moslem Brotherhood rule of Egypt?

According to the daily Al Shouruk, Freedom and Justice raked in 47% of the votes while the secular and moderate Egyptian Bloc coalition received 22%.

Is anybody here at JW surprised? It was so predictable, Egyptians voted only thing they knew, Islam. Democracy, constitutional rule of law, protection of human rights, freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, gender equality, all are forbidden under Islam. Sharia is where all this has to go. There is no other option in Islamic 'democracy'. Not at all surprised by this, if you read the book. I wonder how the MSM will spin it now? Calling Muslim Brotherhood's Sharia "moderate" is like calling Iran's Ayatollahs "tolerant". Watch and learn... MSM has a huge learning curve ahead. "Freedom and Justice" have a very different meaning in Muslim Islam-speak than what we of the West know it t mean.

What happens to the Copts? What is the fate of the descendants of the pyramind builders?

What your point they have than free election. This remind me of than time that than non-communist non-party man won than election for major every rightwing caries in the west said he will not be allow to take office, guess who swore hin into office the Secrate General of the communist party in the USSR.

The Copts better wind up their affairs en mass. Things are destined to get ugly.

We ought to accept them by the millions with open arms. The Arabic language skills of the Copts will be invaluable in terms of translating documents and audio for DHS. Their experience with Islam will be invaluable in terms of helping to awaken our broader society from its multicultural slumber.

Yes... We all want to spoil the elections for everyone. That's our goal...

Not really, we are just doing what this website claims to do, post information relating to jihad, which Hassan al-Banna the Muslim Brotherhoods's leader and founder said:

"Islam and National Greatness
The upcoming nations need to find pride in their na- tionalism just as a superior nation does with its own merits
and history, so that their image be imprinted on the minds of their sons, and they offer their blood and lives on behalf of this glory and nobility. So that they work for the welfare of the Homeland, for its pride and prosperity. We will not see in any other regime, an ideal, more just, more virtuous, and more merciful as in True Islam. For the nation that knows that its nobility and honor have been sanctified by Allah in His foresight, and that He has registered it in His Masterful Book, for as He, the Blessed and Almighty, says:
’You are the best nation which has been brought forth for mankind.’ (Surah-aal-Imran (3), ayah 110)
and in the words of the Almighty:
’Thus have We made you a middle nation, that you may be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger a wit- ness over you.’ (Surah-al-Baqarah (2), ayah 143)
’Greatness belongs to Allah, and to His Apostle, and to the believers.’ (Surah-al-Munaafiqun (63), ayah 8)
is the most worthy nation to sacrifice the world and all that it contains for its God given honor.
The modern nations have labored to foster this image firmly in the minds of their youth, men and boys alike. thus we hear: ”Germany above all!” and ”Italy above all!” and ”Rule, Britannia!” But the difference between the feelings which the Islamic ideology fosters, and the feelings fostered by these slogans and ideologies, is that a Muslim seeks to rise and connect with Allah, while the a non-Muslim does not go beyond the literal meaning of these words. Fur- thermore, in creating such sentiments, Islam has defined its goal, and made it a stringent duty to keep to it, clar- ifying that it is not a matter of extreme chauvinism or false pride, but of leading the world to the common good. Concerning this, He, (SWT), says:
’You command the good and forbid the evil, and believe in Allah.’ (Surah-aal-Imran (3), ayah 110)
In other words, it aims for high values, combating evil and a reverence for the ideal while performing any act. It is with these very sentiments that the early Muslims, reached the highest level of justice and mercy ever reported of any nation. On the other hand, the ideology of domination in the minds of the Western nations could not define its goal without being deceivingly fanatical and therefore the result was a bloody war against the weak nations. In this respect, the Islamic ideology adopted the best course, and sought to instill this into its people, turning them away from anything characterized by wickedness and oppression. Islam has extended the frontiers of the Islamic Homeland, and has ordained toil for its welfare and self sacrifice for the sake of its freedom and greatness. According to the Islamic understanding, the Homeland comprises of
(1) the country itself.
(2) the other Islamic countries, for all of them are seen as a home nation and an abode for the Muslim.
(3) This extends to the first Islamic Empire which the Pious Ancestors built with their dear and precious blood,
3
and over which they raised the banner of Allah. The im- pression that they left still calls out to their past glory and excellence. The Muslim will be asked before Allah (SWT) why he did not work to restore its lands.
(4) Then the Homeland of the Muslim expands to en- compass the entire world. Do you not hear the words of Allah (SWT):
’And fight them until there is no more oppression, and the religion all of it is Allah’s’ (Surah-al-Baqarah (2), ayah 193 )
Thus did Islam reconcile the sentiments of local na- tionalism with that of a common nationalism, in all that is good for mankind:
’O mankind, We created you male and female, and We created you peoples and tribes, that you might know one another.’ (Surah-al-Hujuraat (49), ayah 13)"

(Towards the Light)

As I write a completely nuclearized islamic world - with nuclear tipped ICBMs targeted at the US Homeland - can be prevented.

So why have hundreds of billions of dollars been spent nation-building in those cockroach nests?

I agree with you. I think if muslims want to vote for Sharia law, and Islamic nut-jobs who will destroy the country, good luck to 'em. At least they can say they voted for it. And we'll know for sure who our enemies are, instead of the duplicitous crap we have now.

I couldn't care less what muslims do in muslim countries. They can chop each other up (and probably will) for all I care.

And if you are concerned about them not selling their oil and gas to the world, don't be; it's all they have, they have to sell it. There are few dhimmis to milk, and they can't survive on the money that dried figs and carpets brings in, which is chump change. And the more Islamic they become, the smaller their tourist industries, where they actually exist, will become. As currently evidenced by Egypt, the economy of which is going down the toilet, and is close to total collapse; Somalia-on-the-Nile beckons. Iran is also on the brink. Take away oil and gas, and muslim countries have nothing, zero, zilch.

Re: "I wonder how the MSM will spin it now?"

Partial answer:
Yesterday I channel hopped quickly for a few moments to Canada's CTV News. In relation to elections and "democracy" in Egypt the host's (moron? liar?) desription was: "The venerable Musim Brotherhood."

[Venerable: Rendered sacred by religious or other associations; that should be regarded with awe and treated with reverence; deserving of honor and respect.]

No one at JW is surprised.

(Time for another shower - I still feel dirty for having watched even a small bit of MSM's duplicitous crud. How long they can keep at these reprehensible lies?)

WE ARE AT WAR!

Did you not read my comment?

Hasan al Banna, leader of the Muslim Brotherhood: "The Homeland of the Muslim expands to encompass the entire world. Do you not hear the words of Allah (SWT):'And fight them until there is no more oppression, and the religion all of it is Allah’s (2:193)"

Amercia and the west should spop importing the arogant Somalis and Pakistanis as refugees and in their place, the much persequted Coptic Christians and Pakistan
Christians should be accepted as refugees(in fact, they are the real refugees.)

Yes, I did. I know all that - been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I know the deal with Islam.

The first paragraph of this CBS news story pretty much sums up for me how its going to go for the "Arab Spring" in Egypt. Robert was right; he told you so.

A cold, dark islamist winter of discontent is on the way....

Yup, Hamas won the same way. They showered 'aid' on the poor, told them how to vote, and today they control Gaza. The Brotherhood is paying attention to detail in this 'democratic' election. Unfortunately, the people get the government they deserve. A long, cold, dark "winter of discontent" is right. So sorry, but that's Egypt's reality same as Gaza's. And when the foreign aids gets cut off (we can't afford it anymore), they will see how cold it can get.

OIC - The largest Islamic body, with such emminent members as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Libya condemn Syria for human rights violations

The pot calling the kettle black?

"Saudi Arabia accused of repression after Arab Spring

In a report, the human rights group said thousands of people had been arrested, [in Saudi Arabia] many of them without charge or trial."

The brothers or the Army thats the question......

Tunis, Lybia, Egypt, Gaza and Northarn Sudan.... allready thats nearly the borders of the Fatimid Khalifate in its good early days.... Add Syria and Lebanon and you have its borders in its best days.....

And what about the Copts? They are going to be victimized even more brutally than previously under the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafists.

And what about Israel? Many of the Egyptian Islamists have already admitted they plan to violate the treaty and attack Israel once they are firmly in power. With the assault on the Israeli embassy in Cairo, they have already begun.

It's not as though these vicious Muslims are on some desert island, where they can only savage each other...
