Excellent news! And I'm sure that Imam Rauf, Honest Ibe and the boy Reza will whoop with joy over a sinner who has been sent direct to Hell for besmirching the 'religion of peace'.

Journalists these days are not allowed to describe the alleged perp or convicted criminal as a Muslim, let alone say he is a jihadi. Although according to Mitt Romney, jihad is not an essential or integral part of Islam. So I suppose if Romney is elected president we will be able to openly name jihadis as such. Jihad will no longer be considered a part of Islam by presidential order. Heck, it's such a great idea Obama might borrow it.

That will really piss off the jihadis, won't it? But will it be considered hate speech?

It's obviously not a movie shoot. Hollywood would never have a gun-firing terrorist shout Allahu Akbar.

On the bright side for Hollywood, anyone killed in this incident will still vote for Obama.

He's been promoted from gunman to suicidal Latino. He'll definitely be on the voter list and making his mark for Obama. Since I'm not home, I will probably be voting for Obama.

These muslims need to learn some new words. Everytime I watch a video of muslims murdering someone they're always shouting allahu akbar.

Obama will dismiss the entire incident as a case of "workplace violence."

Gosh, how times have changed for the worse. .I remember been taken, as a house-guest of the score-writer, to watch the premiere of Xanadu at the ArcLight . .all them years ago. .Sheesh, I pray that the guy who caught the bullet in the jaw pulls thru.

Thank goodness there's that latest Virginia Tech shooting - the media can safely swarm over that and ignore this one....

Clearly, the re-education of American journalists is working as intended. Nothing like objective Political Correctness. Now, if the Department of Justice can just do the same with the national security establishment and law enforcement, everything will be perfect. No, not really, they'll have to re-educate our children next. And the rest of us can go to re-education camps so we understand clearly what Liberty, free speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of conscience mean.

When a Moslem jihadist in the act of killing shouts "allahu akbar" he's stating his absolute, undying faith in the Koran (Islam's book of war), and declaring for all to hear that Islam's god (a projection of Mohammed's will to power and hatred of unbelievers) is the great slayer and conqeror of infidels.

Apparently the shooters mother has been notified and says she will say more today after she tells his sisters and brothers about what happened. At least KTLA did have the one Asian witness (not removed) who said emphatically that he heard the 26 year old suspect yelling "allahu akbar" as a starting reference point on what should be revealed later today regarding the shooter.

I Spend considerable time trying to find any reference to "allahu akbar" in any MSM articles-- none,nada as of yet-- blogs are putting it out there however so far.

How ridiculous. I live in L.A., this was on all TV channels yesterday, and there was NO mention of anyone yelling Allah Hu Akbar.

It was a "Suicide By Cop", the nut's name was Tyler Brehm.

There are at least two videos with audio of the guy standing in the street yelling.

hmmmm, a man shooting at innocent people while he is screaming "allahu akbar".....hmmm, I wonder....we'll have to wait for the discovery period...what are the odds?..

Why did this killer go on a rampage? If he was yelling alluhu akbar he was on Islamic jihad against non-Muslims. One of the elements of such a crime is intent. He was deliberately and callously intending to murder people because they were non-Muslims. That makes it First Degree Murder. Stop trying to prevent that element (motivation for the crime) from being used as evidence by ignoring evidence of it and pretending it is not!

In situations like that, with cops on the way, a reasonable man or woman might end the danger by running over the shooter, whatever he or she may be shouting.

Game over.

Only slightly off-topic—I just finished my sketches for a scene in my graphic novel set at the famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine, just blocks from where this Jihadist went on his rampage.

More and more, Jihadists are targeting famous landmarks in Dar-al-Harb for terror attacks.

Of course, there was the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 9/11, with the likely third target either the Capitol or the White House.

In London, Jihadists attacked the tube and a red double-decker bus. In Mumbai, Jihadists attacked the famous Taj Mahal Hotel and other famous landmarks. In Russia, there was the Moscow Theater hostage crisis.

Then there have been failed attacks or plots against New York's Times Square and Paris' Eiffel Tower.

I can no longer think of Times Square as just the center of New York's theater district or location of the most famous New Year's Eve party in the world—now I have to think of it as the site of a near-miss Jihad bombing, as well.

Of course, this aspect pales before the carnage and violence of Jihad attacks. I pray that the man shot in the jaw recovers completely.

But taking our positive memories of the great locations of the World and replacing them with recollections of Jihad violence is *very much* a part of Jihad terror.

Next time I hear a reference to this part of Hollywood, I won't just be thinking movie premiers or great films like "Sunset Boulevard" or "Hollywood and Vine"—I'll also be thinking about Jihad shooting sprees.

Another reason to hate Islam...
