Aslan poses as a modern, moderate Muslim, and fools many; in reality, however, he is a...JIHADIST...

There is no good reason to expose school children to his taqiyya...it is a form of psychological child abuse, and should not be allowed...

Oh, I also e-mailed Lowe's thanking them for discontinuing their ads on the repellent propaganda "Muslim" show. We do shop at Lowe's a lot so yeah we're very glad they pulled their ads.

Interesting that they have divided their institution into Spanish and (I suppose) "non-Spanish". One more demonstration of the contempt our intellectual "elite" has for their own country and culture. No wonder they've invited this character to speak.

Please reconsider having this speaker who is an advocate for the Republic of Iran. In the republic of Iran every Friday they chant "Death to America".

Aslan has even praised the jihad terror group Hizballah as "the most dynamic political and social organization in Lebanon," as well as the Jew-hating, women-hating, kuffar-hating Muslim Brotherhood, which is dedicated in its own words to "eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within." Aslan wrote: "The Muslim Brotherhood will have a significant role to play in post-Mubarak Egypt. And that is good thing." If, in 1932, someone had written that "the National Socialist Party will have a significant role to play in post-Weimar Germany, and that is a good thing," he would have rightly been called a Nazi sympathizer.

I don't believe our children should be hearing the lies of such people.

At least, have the decency to also have someone that will present an alternate point of view.

I sent Mercersburg a little information..I used some information gleened from Jidhad Watch which I hope will inform the Mercersburg staff of what they are getting themselves into...

I have read that you are making it a required attendance event for the Mercersburg faculty and students to attend a lecture given by Reza Aslan....I do hope you have also scheduled a pro-freedom and pro America speaker as well. If you knew anything about Reza Aslans' agenda and background you would cancel the forced attendance to listen to his lies and deceptions. Did you or any of your staff seriously investigate his background and agenda? He will, no doubt,lie and project Muslim victimhood, he will bring out charges of Islamophobia, which by the way, is an invented term invented by the Muslim Brotherhood designed to silence freedom of speech and criticism of the not so secret intent of Islam to eradicate Christians and non-Muslims from the face of the earth. Are you aware that Islam is attacking Christians in many areas, burning and looting their churches and properties and killing them? Reza Aslan supports this Ideology and will try to falsely present Islam as a religion of peace. Perhaps you would like a little background on Reza Aslan.

Emerson produced copies of the rag showing Lekovic's name on the masthead as editor on the very same page on which the praise for Osama appeared."

Please reconsider your decision to forcibly make it mandatory for faculty and student to attend this lecture given by a man who has designs to remove you from the planet...and to take away your freedoms. In Islam, Infidels (that would be non-Muslims such as yourself) three choices...One...you are invited to convert to Islam...two If you refuse to convert you are asked to pay the Jizyah (that is a tax imposed upon only non-Muslims to allow them to live under whatever conditions the Muslims impose upon you...and should you refuse that then the Muslims will kill you. This is what is happening in todays' world in many places, you have but to read about the plight of Christians in Pakistan, Iran, Somalia, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Saudia Arabia and many other places...Christians are being slaughtered by the very "religion" that Reza Aslan will present to you.

I hope you make the right decision.

Students should learn to recognize propaganda and to deconstruct it.

How would the Iranian agent react if the presentation was framed as follows:

"This presentation is about skillful lying. Ordinary politicians lie about a lot of stuff, but Islamist liars have refined the technique over many centuries into a fine art. Let me introduce * * *"
[insert speech]
"Don't sweat it if you did not spot every lie because most adults have a hard time even recognizing when they lie to themselves."

Folks, Mercersburg Academy was originally one of those liberal Protestant institutions which today would not be caught dead inviting a speaker who sincerely and honestly accepted the views of redemption, God, and Scripture taught by such people as Zwingli, Luther, Calvin, or Ursinus.

And, the faculty sponsors of this event probably don't see themselves as forcing propaganda on their charges. They probably see themselves as enlightened, broad-minded, tolerant, and "multi-cultural" by allowing the Ithna'ashariyya Shi'ite Muslim supremacist to speak.
