Maldives: Silent protest for religious tolerance attacked with stones, bricks, participants threatened with death

As our Fearless Fuehrer recently proclaimed about the Ft. Hood slaughter: "This is just another incident of workplace violence."

Religious intolerance is a part of Islam. As long as Islamist are around other religions don't have a "prayer". Anything that is seen as a threat to Islam will be destroyed (as we see in the above article). The religion of "peace" is only that as long as there are no other viewpoints. Tolerance is a pipe dream and does not exist in Islamic countries. Other religions are forced out, or are on there way to being forced out as demonstrated by the Copts in Egypt.

"This was another protest in need of a "Thank You for Proving Our Point" sign. "

Or an "Islam: say it's peaceful or we will kill you" sign.

Here's a few deep red flags in the quoted statements:

- "rising religious intolerance in the Maldives"

- "the increasing use being made of Islam as a tool of political power."

(1) This is not about "religious" intolerance. This is, or should be, about the inherently violent nature of the Islamic cult.

(2) The suggestion here is, that Islam per se is a benign "religion", hijacked for political purposes. That's nonsense, no: that's nonsense on stilts. Islam's policy IS violence.

The best thing one can say about this Silent Solidarity group, is that within an Islamic context, they're self-deceiving Muslims, not martyrs for freedom.

No one needs to vacation in the Maldives. Westerners could kill the tourist business there in a few months. For the sake of real tolerance, Westerners should do just that.

Just say NO to the Maldives. In fact, say NO to each and every Islamic country. After all, why should we enrich our sworn enemies?

Westerners need to wake up.

Most intolerant religion ever concocted with the possible exception of the heart plucking pagan Aztecs. Most hypocritical too as they try to bully Western nations into outlawing criticism of Islam. While they bully and kill nonMuslims in Muslim lands.

The body count of the false prophet is the highest. Forget Mao, Stalin, Hitler, amateurs all.

No doubt the devout Muslims throwing the stones and issuing the threats firmly believe that Islam is a "religon of peace, tolerance and justice." Once again, proof that the meaning is not shared with how non-Muslims the world over would interpret those words. President Obama, maybe you should take a vacation in the Maldives and get a reality check?

Allah does not know the word 'tolerant'...What is tolerant about, 'do as I say or I will burn your skin off a million times', or the penalty for warring (dis-believing, dis-obeying)with him is amputation of fingers and limbs, crucifixion, or beheading, not necessarily in that order...Is there something intolerant about that? Lashings and stoning of women and hanging of gays, is tolerance?...Islam in order to be consistent with it's god, has to be intolerant, sharia reflects it perfectly...Aggressive hegemony, by creep or jihad, has nothing to do with 'tolerance'...Because Allah is himself intolerant, we can expect no tolerance from Islam...
Which is why we have to drive the bully off our block, and reclaim the neighborhood...

Only a completely naive fool would not be able to read the significance of the "guidance" comment, or the "fled in terror rather than be interviewed by an infidel and a woman.

One thing that surprised me was that regular comments for this column were disabled. You can comment ONLY on Mr. Kristof's blog, but not on the NY Times pages. Nice touch of out of sight-out of mind by the NY Times. Maybe they are afraid of the backlash of plenty of readers to this article; as was the case with Mr. Kristof's previous "soft sale of Islam" column about the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt:

Maybe Mr. Kristof forgot Daniel Pearl, who got butchered by Al Qaeda in Pakistan

Does he mean the continual usage of Islam as a political tool? Like the Shii-Sunni divide? The Caliphate? Muhammad's "Constitution of Mecca"? The Muslim Brotherhood? Anybody know what I am talking about?

The Maldives are pretty isolated, so I think that they would make a great place for a filibuster by counter-jihadists to liberate. A private army should be organized for the purpose. I bet some rich Texans or Russians would be interested in contributing money for arms.
