Muslim Brotherhood Calls for a “United Arab States” with Jerusalem as its Capital

Time and time again, we see how Western concepts, when articulated through an Islamic framework, lead to results antithetical to the West. For instance, “democracy” and “elections”—which in the West suggest “freedom,” “human rights,” “liberty,” etc.—are today being used to bring Sharia law, the antithesis of Western law, to power.

In this recent video, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Dr. Safwat Hegazy, a popular preacher, talks about how he yearns to see Arab nations become “like the United States”—for them to unify into the “United Arab States.” While that may sound like an admirable (or at least neutral) goal, bear in mind what he is alluding to: the resurrection of a caliphate—which by nature exists to expand, including through jihad.

Moreover, Hegazy made clear that his interest in seeing the “United Arab States” has less to do with Arab solidarity (nationalism) and more to do with Islamic allegiance (religion). As he gushed about how wonderful it would be for Arab nations to unite into one bloc, the secular and skeptical host interviewing him reluctantly agreed, “so long as the capital is Cairo,” that is, so long as Egypt’s integrity remains. To this, Hegazy replied: “No, I say the capital is Jerusalem, Allah willing.”

Thus, just as that sacrosanct word “democracy” is being used to establish fascist rule in the Muslim world, so too is the notion of a “United Arab States” fraught with problems—from the elimination of Israel to the establishment of an expansionist caliphate on its remains.

It will be a cold day in Hell and there will be 10 feet of snow in Mecca before Jerusalem is the capitol of the Muslim Caliphate.

There is one way, and one way only, to deal with Islam: FORCE.
First step: Arrest Obama for high treason.

“As the essential principle of his [Muhammad’s] faith is the subjugation of others by the sword; it is only by FORCE, that his false doctrines can be dispelled, and his power annihilated.” John Quincy Adams

http://crossmuslims.blogspot.com/2010/12/perfect-man-of-islam.html

Just one thing the shallow thinking Dr. Safwat Hegazy has forgotten...in fact, quite a few things!

One of the many reasons why the USA became a world power was because of its powerful economy. And its powerful economy was a result of the Christian work ethic.

Islam's insh'allah sit-on-your-butt and do nothing all day won't create a powerful economy.

And, due entirely to Islam, there is no freedom in Islamic countries. They are open prisons. A woman can't even drive a car in Saudi, for God's sake.

How does this clown think a United Arab States is going to make its way in the world? Rely entirely on oil? And when it runs out, or we switch to green alternatives oil there is a fall in demand for oil?

He's a clown!

“As the essential principle of his [Muhammad’s] faith is the subjugation of others by the sword; it is only by FORCE, that his false doctrines can be dispelled, and his power annihilated.” - John Quincy Adams

That's what it's going to come down to eventually.

Hey, now wait a minute. Do Caliph's get elected by the general public? I thought it was all about democracy. And also, why not Baghdad as the capitol? Too many Jews in Jerusalem, no Jews in Baghdad anymore. That's one less thing to do when you make yourself a new capitol.

he is smoking to much hash!!!

Say, the picture's bad. Someone notify the projectionist asap.
What's this? The Mo-Bro-Hood wants a Caliphate? Why wasn't this predicted?
Oh, it was predicted, by those who study the facts, but those were interdicted,
By our ruling elites thru their news entertainment fleets, facts ruled too impolite,
High society projecting itself onto aggressors, in fuzzy fictive reality, w/o light.
- the Holy Prophet APF

It's all a pipe dream. Jerusalem will never be the capital of Satan's league. The Ummah are in for a big electric shock on the day they try to make that happen. Jerusalem is the rightful property of the Jews and always will be!

"Do Caliph's get elected by the general public? I thought it was all about democracy."

Depends on who you're asking... Doctrine-wise the Caliph is elected by the Shoorah of the Ummah... That obviously didn't occur in that manner throughout various periods of history, Caliphs were assassinated, and in the case of the early Caliphs as well, they had objection to the rule of others and fought.

"And also, why not Baghdad as the capitol? Too many Jews in Jerusalem, no Jews in Baghdad anymore. That's one less thing to do when you make yourself a new capitol."

Baghdad is in control of a Shi'ite govt. which Sunnis hate, most of them think that the Iraqi govt. is a puppet govt. of the USA anyway. In any case, Palestine has been generally agreed upon as the capital of the "new Caliphate" by many Muslim scholars and Islamic groups throughout the world. The Shia believe that Baghdad will be the capital of the new Caliphate though...

God knows.

The Caliphate will stop the motors of the world. I'm headed to Galt's Gulch.

Cairo? Jerusalem? Why not Mecca? Or Riyadh? The Saudi king is the obvious first choice for Caliph.

Send Coldplay to Jerusalem to play Viva La Vida.
"I hear Jerusalem muezzins a wailing...?" Nah.

Even if the Arab Muslim world got what it wanted (it won't), i.e., no Israel, the resumption of the caliphate, Jerusalem as the capital of a United Arab nation, et al., it would still most definitely result in a whole host of negatives (not even counting Muslims killing other Muslims, which is a given).

There would be no freedom of the press, no freedom of religion, no freedom of speech, non-Muslims would have purely second-class status across the board (in effect a Jim Crow system based on belief rather than race), no equality between men and women, no dispassionate and objective pursuit of the truth, no graciousness, no gratitude, no Golden Rule for all, no alcohol (I take particular and very personal umbrage at this), no Mozart, no Dante, no so many things which redeem the human race.

In short, if the Muslim Brotherhood should get its way completely, metaphorical lights, which elucidate so many wonderful things about the species called Homo sapiens, would go out across the real estate which such a Muslim entity would control. It's dismaying, to say the least, to reflect upon this malevolent and dysfunctional possibility. All the more reason, I would add here, to support the eternal existence of Israel, a beacon of light in a region surrounded by hate, never-ending scape-goating and self-pity.

Yes, a Muslim Brotherhood kind of world is a prescription for the darkest kind of darkness which can afflict the human race. This is what pure Islam has in store for mankind if it gets its way. And I have lost patience with anyone disputing this. Such people are either wicked or clueless, and tolerance of opposing ideas should not be extended to such a degree that it includes destruction of one's own ideas and convictions---and of one's society as he knows it---if the opposer wins out. But this is exactly what unchecked Muslim predominance anywhere guarantees---no opposing opinion of any kind if in opposition to Islamic doctrine. Holy Hell, why can't most everyone see by now that Islam, unchecked, is a sure route to Hell on earth, just as Nazism and Communism were, all three here having in common a complete totalitarianism mindset?

Finally, I think it essential that all those who cherish liberty never disassociate fascism and Marxism from Islam. All three are totalitarian in theory and substance. All three are enemies of freedom. Think Nazism and Communism? Think Islam too.

Are they just plain stupid or is this delusion resulting from all that inbreeding? Jerusalem cannot be their capital, it's the capital of a legal country called Israel.

And be assured, someone will make sure the kaaba & Mecca are bombed out of existence if muslims seriously try to take over Jerusalem.

The only reason muslims want Jerusalem so badly is because the Jews revere it and have had title to it through the ages..

"Where does Jerusalem fit in Islam and Muslim history? It is not the place to which they pray, is not once mentioned by name in prayers, and it is connected to no mundane events in Muhammad's life.  The city never served as capital of a sovereign Muslim state, and it never became a cultural or scholarly center.  Little of political import was initiated there."-Daniel Pipes

Democracy is anathema to a slave of allah. the ikhwans took their recent success as an eternal plebiscite. They have no intention of ever giving up power. and BHO loves what he sees in Egypt.

The claim is based on Mohammed's dream known as the Night Flight in which, mounted on a woman headed horse, he flew to Jerusalem and then to heaven.

That's it.

A history of Jerusalem is now being aired on BBC4 which, if you can hold your nose to the grovelling cultural relativity on display, contains quite a few gems of history.

It's on BBC iPlayer here.

The neanderthals want to rule the world ? From Jerusalem ??

When the marxist/islamist/traitor leaves office, I hope this brotherhood will back off. If they don't I think that the people who see the enemy clearly will start taking up arms. I see them clearly and you don't have to wear a uniform to fight for your country. You know God is gonna get them anyhow. That will be an awsome thing to see.

Isaiah 52:1 (ESV)
Awake, awake,
put on your strength, O Zion;
put on your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city;
for there shall no more come into you
the uncircumcised and the unclean

Psalm 122:

1 A Song of Ascents; of David.
I rejoiced when they said unto me: 'Let us go unto the house of the LORD.'
2 Our feet are standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem;
3 Jerusalem, that art builded as a city that is compact together;
4 Whither the tribes went up, even the tribes of the LORD, as a testimony unto Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5 For there were set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may they prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say: 'Peace be within thee.'
9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good

All sane and decent human beings should rejoice that the Jews of Israel re-took the Old City and the Temple Mount in 1967.

It is *their* place of all places.

Here is one account of the event of 1967.

“This Year In Jerusalem”: an excerpt from a Jewish-Israeli blog entitled ‘preoccupied territory’.

“Yesterday was Yom Yerushalayim, which commemorates the reunification of Jerusalem during the Six-Day War. However, the annoyance of a repeatedly crashing computer prevented me [blogger] from posting until now.

Isracast has a wonderful recording of the actual recapture of the Old City by IDF troops. Click on the yellow "Listen" link on the upper left hand corner of the screen. Thanks to Treppenwitz for originally posting the link.

Colonel Motta Gur [on loudspeaker]: All company commanders, we’re sitting right now on the ridge and we’re seeing the Old City. Shortly we’re going to go in to the Old City of Jerusalem, that all generations have dreamed about. We will be the first to enter the Old City. Eitan’s tanks will advance on the left and will enter the Lion’s Gate. The final rendezvous will be on the open square above.
[i.e. the open square of the Temple Mount.]

[Sound of applause by the soldiers.]

Yossi Ronen: We are now walking on one of the main streets of Jerusalem towards the Old City. The head of the force is about to enter the Old City.

[Gunfire.]

Yossi Ronen: There is still shooting from all directions; we’re advancing towards the entrance of the Old City.

[Sound of gunfire and soldiers’ footsteps.]

[Yelling of commands to soldiers.]

[More soldiers’ footsteps.]

The soldiers are keeping a distance of approximately 5 meters between them. It’s still dangerous to walk around here; there is still sniper shooting here and there.

[Gunfire.]
We’re all told to stop; we’re advancing towards the mountainside; on our left is the Mount of Olives; we’re now in the Old City opposite the Russian church. I’m right now lowering my head; we’re running next to the mountainside. We can see the stone walls. They’re still shooting at us. The Israeli tanks are at the entrance to the Old City, and ahead we go, through the Lion’s Gate. I’m with the first unit to break through into the Old City. There is a Jordanian bus next to me, totally burnt; it is very hot here. We’re about to enter the Old City itself. We’re standing below the Lion’s Gate, the Gate is about to come crashing down, probably because of the previous shelling. Soldiers are taking cover next to the palm trees; I’m also staying close to one of the trees. We’re getting further and further into the City.

[Gunfire.]

Colonel Motta Gur announces on the army wireless: The Temple Mount is in our hands! I repeat, the Temple Mount is in our hands!

All forces, stop firing! This is the David Operations Room. All forces, stop firing! I repeat, all forces, stop firing! Over.

Commander eight-nine here, is this Motta (Gur) talking? Over.

[Inaudible response on the army wireless by Motta Gur.]

Uzi Narkiss: Motta, there isn’t anybody like you. You’re next to the Mosque of Omar.

Yossi Ronen: I’m driving fast through the Lion’s Gate all the way inside the Old City.

Command on the army wireless: Search the area, destroy all pockets of resistance [but don't touch anything in the houses], especially the holy places.

[Lt.- Col. Uzi Eilam blows the Shofar. Soldiers are singing ‘Jerusalem of Gold’.]

Uzi Narkiss: Tell me, where is the Western Wall? How do we get there?

Yossi Ronen: I’m walking right now down the steps towards the Western Wall. I’m not a religious man, I never have been, but this is the Western Wall and I’m touching the stones of the Western Wall.

Soldiers: [reciting the ‘Shehechianu’ blessing]: Baruch ata Hashem, elokeinu melech haolam, she-hechianu ve-kiemanu ve-hegianu la-zman ha-zeh. [Translation: Blessed art Thou L-rd G-D King of the Universe who has sustained us and kept us and has brought us to this day]

Rabbi Shlomo Goren: Baruch ata Hashem, menachem tsion u-voneh Yerushalayim. [Translation: Blessed art thou, who comfortest Zion and buildest Jerusalem] *baruch ata Hashem = “blessed be [The Name] ”

Soldiers: Amen!

[Soldiers sing ‘Hatikva’ next to the Western Wall.]

Rabbi Goren: We’re now going to recite the prayer for the fallen soldiers of this war against all of the enemies of Israel:

[Soldiers weeping]

El male rahamim, shohen ba-meromim. Hamtse menuha nahona al kanfei hashina, be-maalot kedoshim, giborim ve-tehorim, kezohar harakiya meirim u-mazhirim. Ve-nishmot halalei tsava hagana le-yisrael, she-naflu be-maaraha zot, neged oievei yisrael, ve-shnaflu al kedushat Hashem ha-am ve-ha’arets, ve-shichrur Beit Hamikdash, Har Habayit, Hakotel ha-ma’aravi veyerushalayim ir ha-elokim. Be-gan eden tehe menuhatam. Lahen ba’al ha-rahamim, yastirem beseter knafav le-olamim. Ve-yitsror be-tsror ha-hayim et nishmatam adoshem hu nahlatam, ve-yanuhu be-shalom al mishkavam [soldiers weeping loudly] ve-ya’amdu le-goralam le-kets ha-yamim ve-nomar amen!

[Translation: Merciful G-d in heaven, may the heroes and the pure be under thy Divine wings, among the holy and the pure who shine bright as the sky, and the souls of soldiers of the Israeli army who fell in this war against the enemies of Israel, who fell for their loyalty to G-d and the land of Israel, who fell for the liberation of the Temple, the Temple Mount, the Western Wall and Jerusalem the city of the Lord. May their place of rest be in paradise. Merciful One, O keep their souls forever alive under Thy protective wings. The Lord being their heritage, may they rest in peace, for they shalt rest and stand up for their allotted portion at the end of the days, and let us say, Amen.]

[Soldiers are weeping. Rabbi Goren sounds the shofar. Sound of gunfire in the background.]

Rabbi Goren: Le-shana HA-ZOT be-Yerushalayim ha-b’nuya, be-yerushalayim ha-atika! [Translation: This year in a rebuilt Jerusalem! In the Jerusalem of old!]
It is terribly moving and humbling to imagine this scene - secular generals awed by the sight of the Kotel, the mixed strains of "Hatikva" and "Yerushalayim Shel Zahav", the tears of grown (and heavily armed) men as they pray for the fallen. It makes one realize the sacrifices that were made throughout Israel's history, and it recalls the imperative to make sure those sacrifices were not in vain.”

Note – I had never read this account in detail before.

I knew about the Israeli soldiers weeping as they took the city – the first time the Jews gained full control of their holy places since the Romans destroyed the city in the 1st century – but not the fine detail of what actually happened.

After reading this, I understand exactly why the demand that the Old City be ‘given back’ to the Arab Muslims - that is, to Muslims - to become the trophy capital of a ‘Palestinian Arab’ Islamic state, is nothing but the ugliest sadism and hatred of Jews. Any person who countenances that demand is a moral imbecile.

The magic of Shavuot, 1967
By Larry Domnitch May 22, 2007

Reprinted from our publication of this piece in 2005, on the 40th anniversay of the holiday.

'Over the last two millennia, Jews have visited Jerusalem in honor of the festivals, in lieu of the Biblically ordained pilgrimages.

'On the holiday of Shavuot, there was also the custom to visit the grave of King David on Mount Zion, since according to tradition, the date of his birth and passing was the holiday of Shavuot.

'When Shavuot arrived in 1948, it was a month after the establishment of the State of Israel, and Jews could no longer continue to make the pilgrimage to the Western Wall.

**'The Jordanians, {that is, the Jordanian Arab MUSLIMS - dda} who occupied the eastern half of the city since the War of Independence, blocked all rights of passage to the Jews.** {my emphasis - dda}.

' However, the pilgrimage to King David's tomb on nearby Mount Zion, located on the Israeli side of divided Jerusalem, continued.

'Over the next nineteen years, crowds made their way to Mount Zion, where they could view the 'Old City' and the Temple Mount.

'On the morning of Shavuot June 15, 1967, just six days after the liberation of the Old City of Jerusalem following the Six Day War, the Old City was officially opened to the Israeli public.

'For the first time in almost two thousand years, masses of Jews could visit the Western Wall and walk through the cherished streets of Judaism's capital city as members of the sovereign Jewish nation.

' Each Jew who ventured to the Western Wall on that unforgettable day represented the living realization of their ancestors' dreams over the millennia. It was one of those rare, euphoric moments in history.

'From the late hours of the night, thousands of Jerusalem residents streamed towards Zion gate, eagerly awaiting entry into the Old City.

'At 4 a.m., the accumulating crowds were finally allowed to enter the area of the Western Wall.

'The first Minyan (traditional quorum of ten men) soon began. Over fifteen hundred people shared that special moment.

'As the sun continued to rise, there was a steady flow of thousands who made their way to the Old City.

'In total, two hundred thousand visited the Western Wall that day. It was the first pilgrimage, en masse, of Jews to Jewish-controlled Jerusalem on a Jewish festival in two thousand years, since the pilgrimages for the festivals in Temple times.

'The Jerusalem Post described the epic scene:

"Every section of the population was represented. Kibbutz members and soldiers rubbing shoulders with Neturei Karta. Mothers came with children in prams, and old men trudged steeply up Mount Zion, supported by youngsters on either side, to see the wall of the Temple before the end of their days.

"Some wept, but most faces were wreathed in smiles.

'For thirteen continuous hours a colorful variety of all peoples trudged along in perfect order, stepping patiently when told to do so at each of six successive barriers set up by the police to regulate the flow."

'An eyewitness described the moment:

"I've never known so electric an atmosphere before or since.

" Wherever we stopped, we began to dance. Holding aloft Torah scrolls we swayed and danced and sang at the tops of our voices.

"So many of the Psalms and songs are about Jerusalem and Zion and the words reached into us a new life.

"As the sky lightened, we reached the Zion gate. Still singing and dancing, we poured into the narrow alleyways beyond."

"On Shavuot, three thousand two hundred and seventy nine years earlier, the Israelites stood at Mount Sinai and felt the gravity of the moment as a unique relationship was formed between themselves and their Creator.

"On the day of Shavuot following Israel's amazing victory of the Six-Day War, multitudes ascended to the Western Wall, as their ancestors had done in the past, and they celebrated the holiday just a short distance from the Temple Mount.

"They, too, felt the magic of the moment.”

[Author's note:] Shavuot, the Feast of the Weeks, is the Jewish holiday celebrating the harvest season in Israel. Shavuot, which means "weeks", refers to the timing of the festival which is held exactly seven weeks after Passover.".

Jerusalem - and that includes most especially the 'old city', the Mount of Olives, and Mount Zion, with the site of the two Temples - belongs to the Jews, to the House of Israel.

It **does not** belong to the Mohammedan usurpers, thieves and liars.

That's it.
.................................

And not even that, Logdon. In Islamic texts it just claims that the "Prophet" flew to "the Furthest Mosque" before ascending to Paradise.

Only later was the "Furthest Mosque" conflated with Jerusalem.

An, of course, there was no Mosque in Jerusalem at the time at all...
