"Promoting sharia in any form is a reckless pursuit on the part of democratic governments"

When I spoke in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane during my speaking tour of Australia, Vickie Janson of the Q Society, the human rights organization that brought me out, gave this eye-opening address at the beginning of each event:

On behalf of the Q Society of Australia it is my pleasure to welcome you all here tonight and to extend a very warm welcome to Melbourne to our special guest speaker Mr Robert Spencer, who we’re all very much looking forward to hearing.

My name is Vickie Janson and I’m the DP of Q Society – the organizing body behind this Robert Spencer Australian Tour. This tour has been made possible through both generous sponsorship and the many sacrifices of Q Society members and supporters to whom we are all most grateful.

It is my pleasure to particularly thank the CDP who are the major sponsor of this Melbourne event. The CDP are the only political party that are consistently raising in the public domain the concerns of rising Islamisation, and the impact of this upon Australian culture, values and law. So we thank the CDP for their support and encourage everyone to wander over to their table at the completion of the meeting to see what they’re all about.

We all know there is no such thing as a free lunch, and none knows this better than our very generous lunch sponsors. Their sponsorship has subsidized these public meetings to make them affordable for all. Thank you so very much to all those who participated in the lunch sponsorship.

Now, before we go any further, it is unfortunately necessary for me to read a legal announcement, which in itself highlights one of the major concerns facing free democracies.

PLEASE NOTE: Victoria’s Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001 – otherwise known as ‘Victoria’s Blasphemy law’ is a serious concern for Q Society. As we are incorporated in Victoria, this law may even apply to statements made in other states. While we find this law abhorrent because it prohibits free speech and advances totalitarianism, we respect that the Rule of Law is a fundamental Australian value.

And we affirm that in accordance with Section 11 of the RRTA which permits conduct engaged in reasonably and in good faith in the course of any statement, publication, discussion or debate made or held, or any other conduct engaged in, for any purpose that is in the public interest or in making or publishing a fair and accurate report of any event or matter of public interest…that Q Society does act reasonably and in good faith, and there is little need to discuss whether the topic of Islam is in the public interest.

We do not encourage or incite others to feel hatred, revulsion, contempt or ridicule of Muslims in breach of the RRTA. However, we will discuss Islam, including its legal code sharia law, and the Islamic political, cultural, economic, social or religious practices that we genuinely believe seek to undermine personal freedom and Australian values.

Nor do we seek to generalize about Muslims and so will not generalize that, just because some Muslims are successful and integrated, that there is nothing to worry about at all. If there are problems in certain sections of the Muslim community, we will discuss these as we would discuss problems in any other group.

If anyone in the audience feels emotions of anger, or of being incited or provoked into negative feelings against Muslims because our speakers tonight refer to passages of Islamic scripture, history, or the conduct of certain Muslim persons in a critical manner, then we would ask that you please leave this venue and stop reading our material. You are welcome of course to speak to a member of Q Society afterwards who can assist in explaining the context in which we discuss Islam.

Finally, if anyone in the audience has come for the purpose of deliberately claiming offence, as part of a premeditated legal action against Q Society or without genuine, good faith intentions, then please also leave now; you have been put on notice that your presence is simply a provocation and incitement to us. Thank you for your attention.

Well, we advertised this tour with the theme ‘Socio-Political Jihad’ – conquering the West without swords, guns or bombs – quite frankly – who needs them? While I was preparing for tonight an old saying popped into my head that will be familiar to many; - ‘there’s more than one way to skin a rabbit’. I think we’d all agree, whatever way it’s done, it’s not looking good for the rabbit!

Likewise there is more than one way to undermine democracy, the rue of law, freedoms, order, institutions, values and the open culture democratic countries enjoy. Having sat in numerous Islamic lectures in Australia, I am aware there are many individuals who may not necessarily support the means of terrorists, yet there is growing support for their ultimate goal to see Islam rise politically, legally and culturally. There is, if you like, violent and non-violent means to the same end of promoting sharia law and the Islamic state concept.

I often say dawah and jihad are two sides to the same coin – dawah being the peaceful invitation to accept the Islamic narrative. No matter what way the coin falls – both dawah and jihad effectively do the same job and it’s heads up for Islamic sharia either way. Unlike totalitarian regimes, democracy by nature is very accommodating to this ‘peaceful pillaging of society’.

It’s not just the Muslim Brotherhood who have a documented strategy of what they call civilizational jihad. In 1980 the Islamic Council of Europe published a book titled ‘Muslim Communities in Non-Muslim States’ – which outlined a strategy for the Muslim community on how to ‘resist assimilation and become a majority’ – so this is not a conspiracy, or just an ideal of some, but a documented strategy,… And with at least 85-100 sharia courts in Britain, Muslim enclaves and no go zones for non-Muslims in many parts of Europe we can all see how successful this strategy has been. Danish psychologist Nicolai Sennels describes this resistance to integration as a kind of cultural osmosis where western values don’t quite penetrate the Islamic world while Islamization diffuses from the Muslim community into non-Muslim societies.

But what of Australia?

Opposition spokesman on immigration, Scott Morrison, in a recent address said this: quote -

I do not see the experience of Europe on immigration as a prophecy for our own future in Australia.

While I empathise with the comments of Angela Merkel and David Cameron as they battle with these questions in a European context, their immigration practice has followed a very different path to Australia…unquote

It appears successful integration is to be attributed to immigration practice – something dependent upon Australian process rather than Islamic strategy.

I can assure you, having attended numerous Islamic lectures in Australia, the same strategy in Europe is alive and well here: Mike and I attended one at the Melbourne Uni 2008 where Dr Abdullah Hakim Quick assured the audience that there is no clash of civilizations, just a rise and fall of civilizations’. Quick noted that the decline of western power and the rise of Islam would first take shape socially, and then politically. (So theologically, this is an Islamic expectation and as we look around a growing reality.) This was followed by comments from Sheik Tawfique Chowdhury who said that Australia was a young country – and yet to cement its heritage and identity and of course the inference was that Islam would provide this cement.

Well, how are they going? Is the evidence pointing towards the Scott Morrison narrative or Sheik Chowdhury’s?

Earlier this year I had a visit to Monash University to discuss this little booklet – Salaam Monash – handbook for Muslim students that Miranda Devine has just brought to our attention in the Herald Sun. While we are all hearing the ‘social inclusion’ narrative with lots of public money thrown to the cause, this booklet essentially advises Muslims how they can avoid integration altogether.

It directs them not just to Muslim institutions, mosques, prayer centres, (some dubious ones at that) Islamic publications, websites, schools, miscellaneous services, food outlets, etc….but also to Muslim medical and dental practitioners – non-Muslim practitioners will not be getting a slice of this business simply based on their lack of adherence to the Islamic faith. If anyone else did, this it would be called discrimination - this blatant preferencing of Muslim only medical and dental practitioners obviously falls far short of notions of real ‘social inclusion’.

All this is quite interesting given that on the ‘students rights’ page – it is noted that excluding or isolating a person is a form of bullying – yet the whole booklet appears to exclude non-Muslim Australians. And if any of our international students thought they might be tempted to taste a bit of freedom in Australia and choose for themselves what to wear, attend or eat…afterall – the Quran does say the food of the ‘People of the Book’ is lawful for Muslims (5:5) …there is a note in the Monash Muslim students handbook reminding them: ‘It is the responsibility of each individual to be vigilant in making sure that the food they consume is halal.’ This is a public university mandating…Vigilance - almost seems a bit like bullying in itself…

And then there’s the ‘halal helpline’ noted for any desperate situations…one can’t help but wonder if Malaysian author Syed Akbar Ali is right in his assessment that the halal industry is all a great burden upon people and part of a huge commercial industry driven by Islamist profiteers. And if this is the case, Australia is making it increasingly difficult for them to shake it off here.

So let me ask a question in good faith – a question that any reasonable person might ask – how do we expect integration, shared culture, values and laws, when we promote segregation – when we cant share the same food, finance, doctors, dentists, public services, swimming pools, and other public spaces?

La Trobe University has its Muslim only toilets and prayers rooms, the group Aussie Muslims is campaigning for exclusively Muslim prayer rooms in a WA hospital on the basis that they need to avoid the idolatry that may occur if they share.

Our public schools are adapting to a Muslim Perspectives curriculum project where, among many other things, not just female only swimming is recommended for our Muslim students but exclusively Muslim only swimming, (these are all sounding much like apartheid practices) some public schools are catering to diversity by ensuring tuckshops are exclusively halal, very diverse - no more ham sandwiches or bacon bits for these kids, there are calls for legal pluralism by the peak Islamic body AFIC, HBT openly advertises its three point methodology on how to overturn democracy and impose the Islamic state, seditiously circulating books like this …. forbidding support of democracy and the rule of law…and the government has committed Australia to support sharia finance –an innovation of the MB to undermine Western economies, we have a Sydney council who has been busy boycotting Israel and a Melbourne council employing a ‘Muslim Outreach Officer’ to educate the community about Islam; all this with public money - and to give substance to our concerns the recent report by legal academics Ann Black and Kerri Sadiq finds that a ‘system of legal pluralism based on SL abounds in Australia; a system endorsing polygamous and underage marriages in contravention of the marriage act…

On and on and on it goes…the social and legal framework for little Islamic states in the making popping up everywhere. Perhaps, as Mr Morrison claims, our selective immigration policies are more robust than Europe, however our social policies appear to heading us in exactly the same direction. And to ignore the social cost will be to our own peril. I don’t think anyone here likes the prospect of being skinned rabbit!

It would be an oversight to only mention the challenge of this peaceful pillaging of western society when reports confirm there is also an over representation in violent crime, suggesting the fostering of a culture of violence.

In a report by Phyllis Chesler (published in the Middle East Quarterly Spring 2010) it’s noted that in Europe, 96% of the perpetrators of honor killings are Muslims and allegations of ‘unacceptable Westernization’ accounted for 71% of these crimes in Europe and 91% in North America.

Unacceptable Westernization…while enjoying the benefits of the West, this is the crime these girls were killed for…

Bad attitudes towards things western abound, and building up Islam rather than a healthy respect for western freedoms and law may ultimately convert these bad attitudes into bad actions. We don’t see too many figures published here but The Age (21/10/11) recently reported that in 2008 42% of clients of the Australian Muslim Women’s Centre for Human Rights reported domestic abuse, and last year that figure rose to 80%. Honor killing is just the extreme end of domestic abuse and inadvertently promoting sharia in any form is a reckless pursuit on the part of democratic governments.

To conclude, I would like to highlight that this is essentially a battle of ideas manifesting at the extreme end in terrorism. Not only are we engaged in an asymmetric war militarily, but the ideological battle is also an asymmetric one. While Pastors have been taken before the courts accused of mocking and vilifying Islam, the spokesman for the ICV who is a partner in the comedy act ‘Fear of Brown Planet’ received a government grant to mock and vilify white people and non-muslims. So non-Muslims get fined and Muslims get public grants.

When I attended the VCAT hearings where the Pastors stood accused there were two burqa clad women at the back one day…when Judge Higgins entered the room and all were required to stand, they remained seated and were overheard saying ‘We won’t stand for an infidel judge’ – this is in a vilification hearing!! It seems vilification is asymmetric as well. I was quite amazed to read the argument of the defence lawyer of the Muslim who called the Australian Jewish soldier who returned from Afghanistan ‘a dirty animal – a thousand times worse than a pig’…his lawyer said ‘the alleged comments were made in a political context and were not necessarily offensive…and the barrister added…’insults are a legitimate part of the political discourse’…interesting isn’t it. If the word Muslim was substituted for Jew – would any lawyer be game to uphold that argument.

Victoria’s Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001 – otherwise known as ‘Victoria’s Blasphemy law’
............................

What an Orwellian name for a law that enables Shari'ah law and restricts freedom of speech...

Once government terror becomes the accepted rule of law then the only remaining question is who controls government, and to what micro-managed ends. Tyranny has many flavors, but suppression of speech that seeks redress of grievances is a common feature to all.

Here's a suggestion (world wide) -- Let all Islamic clerics that demand (or get) veto power over secular elected government also stand for elections, or selection and approval similar to that of US Supreme Court justices by elected officials, subject also to impeachment by elected officials. Judges in Sharia courts demand immunity from the machinery of democratic elections, and are thus unaccountable other than by non-democratic means. Islamic clerics demand exemption from the will of the people anywhere and everywhere. Demand immediately that they stand for elections, and accountability, in countries not yet fully Sharia-compliant. Demand immediately also that Sharia court proceedings be as open as in US courts, in countries not yet fully Sharia-compliant.

That disclaimer was pathetic.

As Serge Trifkovic aptly stated in his book The Sword of the Prophet, "Islam is a collective psychosis seeking to become global, and any attempt to compromise with such madness is to become part of the madness oneself."

The urgent need of this hour is not appeasement and compromise with the Muslim agenda but rather we need men and women with backbone and true grit who will rise up with courage and stand steadfast against this ruthless political system disguised as a religion.

Islam is a Trojan Horse and it is the greatest threat to world peace in 6000 years of recorded history.

Islam is a malignant cancer and as such you only have two choices......you must fight to destroy the cancer or roll over in submission and allow the cancer to destroy you.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS !!!!!!

Every JW reader should read the above speech by Vickie Janson. I agree 100% to it. It is rest-assuring there are people on the ball in Downunder. Gud-on-u-mate.

Sharia takes hold in Britain. Massive increase in honor attacks:

UK police recorded at least 2,823 so-called honour attacks last year, figures from 39 out of 52 forces show...

Such attacks can include acid attacks, abduction, mutilations, beatings and in some cases, murder.

A quarter of police forces in the UK were unable or unwilling to provide data and communities have often been reluctant to talk about the crime, Ikwro said.

Its director Diana Nammi said families often tried to deny the existence of honour attacks and those who carried them out were "very much respected".

She told the BBC: "The perpetrators will be even considered as a hero within the community because he is the one defending the family and community's honour and reputation."

She added that there was not enough support for victims, and many needed continuing help and protection.

"For some cases, police and some organisations just help them up to a length of time, then they will stop," she said.

"With honour-based violence, the threat may be a lifetime threat for them."

Vicky Janson is great - right on the ball.

I've met her.

I've also read - thank you, PJG, for sending me a copy! - her book 'Ideological Jihad', which is in fact written as an extended riposte to one of our slitheriest da'wa spin-doctors, one Walid Aly, who is author of a very meretricious book about Muslims in Australia and within the West, "People Like Us" (which book is, basically, an exercise in whitewashing Islam and Blame-The-Infidel).

Janson addresses Mr Aly throughout her book, relentlessly questioning him, relentlessly and intelligently confronting every piece of evasion and every lie and every half-truth that he peddled in his own book.

Read Janson's 'Ideological Jihad', and you keep hearing a sound like the clang of a hammer on an anvil. Or, to change the metaphor, the swish of the Sword of Godric Griffindor as it dispatches a Basilisk.

You've totally missed the point Giles. If you read what Vicki has said about Victoria’s Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001 – otherwise known as ‘Victoria’s Blasphemy law’ - you'd know that she is obliged to make such disclaimers. That law is more than just a concern to Australia's Q Society - ANY suggestion that what they say or promote directly incites hatred i.e. a breach of that law - WILL see them prosecuted. Although the Victorian law is perhaps the most specific, all Australian states have similar laws and while they have not been fully tested as yet, the Q Society and its representatives like the courageous Vicki Jansen have to be very careful that they do not end up in court. Besides which, making such statements frames the debate or discussion - and stops it being hijacked or undermined by extremists like Islamicists and their supporters/apologists. By making such statements, no one can deny that Ms Jansen is promoting a sincere and reasonable discussion of the issues.

What's really pathetic is that the law can be used maliciously to prevent freedom of speech while at the same time not be applied to the hate speech of Islamic fundamentalists. The issue here is that extremist groups like Hizbut Tahrir are able to operate with virtual impunity - as long as they avoid the incitement of violence - a line they are careful themselves not to cross. Meanwhile they and apologists like Wahid Ali can constantly agitate for the incorporation of Shariah or excuse its worst excesses while true supporters of democracy like the Q Society have to be ultra cautious in ANY criticism of a religion like Islam in 'multicultural' Australia!

Ditto DDA.

And yet she's so polite! ;)

Is this that Walid Aly who sneaked his way into every nook of the taxpayer funded, dhimmy and left propagandist Australian media - the SBS and ABC? The one who is found on most of those pannels that are formed here - ad nauseam - to discuss how much the poor muslims are discrimated against and victimised. Showing off his Australian (converted?) wife, always veiled like a good muslim woman? He who now has deplaced from our tax-funded national Broadcaster some non-muslim long-time front people in a so-called "renewal" of the program structures?

While the courageous and delightful Vickie Janson is character-assassinated, defamed, attacked for the crime of defending our Western Culture against the aggressive islamist invasion of our country?

If that's the one, always smiling while "spreading the word", then I am reminded of this little Lewis Carroll poem from Alice in Wonderland:

How doth the little crocodile
Improve upon his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!
How cheerfully he seems to grin,
How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in
With gently smiling jaws!

Vicki Jansen raises a very important issue here in Australia - honour killings and violence against Muslim women and non-Muslim women by Muslim men. The data for such violence is very hard to get hold of and apart from the examples she quotes, almost unknown. Part of the reason is that much of this violence is simply recorded as domestic violence and there is no association with the religion of the victims.

Yet there is much empirical evidence that such violence occurs here in Muslim families as it does elsewhere in the West. Investigating cases of abuse social workers in NSW have called for police presence in attending Sudanese Muslim households because of the extreme violence that the Muslim men are prone to exhibit. The women and children in families of Muslim immigrants are conspicuously over-represented in recorded abuse cases - far more than any other ethnic immigrant group - and if it were recorded, the vast majority would be Muslim, according to the social workers who have to deal with it.

It never ceases to amaze that Leftist feminists rarely protest the violence and oppression of women in Islam. You'd expect them to take to the streets to protest the horrific violence of honour killings. Or the genital mutilation of children. Or the institutionalized rape of children through arranged marriages mandated under Shariah (and flouting Australian law). Or the rape of non-Muslim women or Muslim women who dress provocatively - like 'pieces of meat' according to Australian Imam Sheikh Hilaly.

Yet even in one of the most notorious cases in Australia involving a Muslim rape gang that operated in Sydney's Western suburbs - whose principle members are currently serving lengthy prison sentences - did not see the feminists or the Left stage the mass protest that it should have evoked. Of course then it comes as no surprise that the most obvious cause - the misogyny promoted by the ideology of Islam and mandated by Shariah - is also ignored. Australia for all its much-vaunted freedoms (one of the first democracies to give women the vote!) is as much behind the eight ball on this - or worse - as the rest of the West.

Yep. **That** Walid Aly.

One should use this Australian law to sue Islamists for promoting hatred and violence against Jews, Christians and "infdels". Half of Koran are diatribes inciting hatred and violence against "other". Thus intelligent lawyers should be suing Islamists all over the world for "blasphemy" of Jews, Christians and "other", rather than allowing those evil medieval men use the law against those who speak truth against Islamic messages of hate and intolerance.

Any lawyer out there who has guts to start suing mosques around the world for promoting "blasphemy" against regular people in the West?

If the puzzel pieces don't fit together there is something very wrong. Islam claims to be the religion of "peace'. But that doesn't fit with what I'm seeing and hearing. This acticle is well written and explains things very well.

Non-Muslim Muslims and the Jihad Against the West
By Bosch Fawstin,

My name is Bosch and I’m a recovering Muslim.
That is, if Muslims don’t kill me for leaving Islam, which it requires them to do.

That’s just one of the reasons I’ve been writing and drawing against Islam and its Jihad for a number of years now. But fortunately for us, Islam hasn’t been able to make every Muslim its slave, just as Nazism wasn’t able to turn every German into a Nazi. So there is Islam and there are Muslims. Muslims who take Islam seriously are at war with us and Muslims who don’t aren’t.

But that doesn’t mean we should consider these reluctant Muslims allies against Jihad. I’ve been around Muslims my entire life and most of them truly don’t care about Islam. The problem I have with many of these essentially non-Muslim Muslims, especially in the middle of this war being waged on us by their more consistent co-religionists, is that they give the enemy cover. They force us to play a game of Muslim Roulette since we can’t tell which Muslim is going to blow himself up until he does. And their indifference about the evil being committed in the name of their religion is a big reason why their reputation is where it is.

So while I understand that most Muslims are not at war with us, they’ve proven in their silence and inaction against jihad that they’re not on our side either, and there’s nothing we can say or do to change that. We just have to finally accept it and stop expecting them to come around, while doing our best to kill those who are trying to kill us.
Another problem with Muslims who aren’t very Muslim is that they lead some among us to conclude that they must be practicing a more enlightened form of Islam. They’re not. They’re “practicing” life in non-Muslim countries, where they are free to live as they choose. But their “Islam” is not the Islam. There’s no separate ideology apart from Islam that’s being practiced by these Muslims in name only, there’s no such thing as “Western Islam”.

Non-observant Muslims are not our problem, but neither are they the solution to our problem. Our problem is Islam and its most consistent practitioners. There is nothing in Islam that stays the hand of Muslims who want to kill non-Muslims. If an individual Muslim is personally peaceful, it’s not because of Islam, it’s because of his individual choice, which is why I often say that your average Muslim is morally superior to Mohammad, to their own religion. The very rare Muslim who helps us against Jihad is acting against his religion, but that doesn’t stop some among us from thinking that his existence somehow means that he represents more than himself.

The only reason we’re talking about Islam is because it doesn’t mean peace. Islam wasn’t hijacked by a “small minority of extremists” on 9/11, it was hijacked by a very small minority of moderates whose embarrassment in being associated with such an immoderate religion leads them to engage in moderate truth telling about it, proving their irrelevance as allies.

In addition to these politically active moderates, when you see well-assimilated Muslims in the West, you’re not seeing Islam in action, you’re seeing individuals living up to the old adage, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. They’re essentially post-Islamic Muslims who have rejected Islamic values and have embraced Western ones. But since the process of their assimilation was implicit – as it happened naturally by their exposure to Western, i.e., pro-life, values – both Muslims and non-Muslims alike prefer to generously give Islam some credit for it. But a good
Muslim, by our standards is a bad Muslim by Islamic standards. Objectively good human beings, who identify themselves as Muslim, give Islam a good face, one far better then it deserves. This only gives us a false impression about what it is we’re facing, with just another excuse not to face it. And this leads to our acceptance into our culture of stealth jihadists who have figured out how to say what we want to hear, while they scheme behind the scenes to further Islamize the West.

In the name of distinguishing the enemy from Muslims who mean us no harm, far too many Western commentators have avoided using the name “Islam” for the enemy’s ideology, and instead have decided to create their very own terms for the threat we’re facing, terms that are alien to the enemy. Terms such as:
Islamic Fundamentalism.
Islamic Extremism.
Totalitarian Islam.
Islamofascism.
Islamonazism.
Political Islam.
Bin Ladenism.
Radical Islam.
Militant Islam.
Islamism.
Jihadism.

We didn’t use terms such as “Radical Nazism”, “Extremist Shinto” and “Militant Communism” in the past. “Militant Islam”, Political Islam”, etc., are redundant terms. Our pretending otherwise has proven disastrous. Thousands of American lives, both civilian and military, have been sacrificed because of policies predicated on the myth that “Islam means peace.” We didn’t try to reform Shinto or Nazism during World War II; the major changes in those cultures took place only after we thoroughly de-militarized them.

And it’s no accident that Western analysts of Islam who are most informed about Islam are also most critical of it, while those least informed are least critical. But then there are those who, in their study of Islam, have become so enamored with their subject that, instead of sticking to what Islam is, they often write about what it isn’t, what they hope it might be. They seem preoccupied with doing their part to save Islam from those who have allegedly corrupted it.

The Muslim world is where the true meaning of Islam can be found in practice. Islam – not any alleged deviant form of it – means misogyny, censorship, anti-Semitism, homophobia, wife-beatings, beheadings, honor killings, pedophilia/“child marriages”, murdering infidels, etc. This is evil, and Islam sanctions every bit of it, but we’ve been told that we must respect “one of the world’s great religions” because it’s a religion. Following 9/11, the only thing George W. Bush knew about Islam was that it was a religion, and that apparently was a good enough reason for him to exonerate it as he did. And his advisor on Islam, David Forte, told Bush exactly what he wanted to hear, that “Nothing this evil could come from religion.” But 9/11 did come from a religion. Whatever else 9/11 was, it was an act of faith.

And Bush saying “Islam is peace” shortly after 9/11 gave the enemy a gift they couldn’t have foreseen. Here was the one man who was charged to defend America from their attack and here he was defending the very ideology that motivated the attackers. Honesty is the best policy in general, and when it comes to war, it’s a moral imperative to find out the truth, to tell the truth and to act on the truth, no matter what sacred cow is killed in the process. And so a big part of why nearly 3,000 victims of jihad on 9/11 haven’t been avenged is because of respect for religion, even for a religion that calls for our destruction.

Muslims who really care about Islam are part of an organized effort to spread Islam, and I sometimes refer to this collective effort by Muslims as “Organized Islam.” No matter the means involved, Muslims working towards a more Islamic world want the same thing the jihadists want. This organized effort includes Mosques, Muslim organizations, Muslim individuals writing books, blog posts, etc. And they all invariably engage in anti-Western, Anti-Israeli propaganda, at the very least.

I often hear that we should be working with the Muslim world. Working towards what? As Ayn Rand writes, “In any collaboration between two men (or two groups) who hold different basic principles, it is the more evil or irrational one who wins.” Any time we spend “working” with a culture that calls for our destruction, we are working towards our own destruction, consciously or not.
While it’s true that jihadists don’t represent most Muslims, they do represent Islam. But then why don’t most Muslims engage in jihad? Like in any culture, heroes are a small minority, and that goes for Islamic culture as well. The jihadists are Islam’s heroes; they are the ones most dedicated to following Allah’s commands and they’re celebrated in the Muslim world for it. They are also the only ones to whom Islam guarantees paradise. And their rarity was made even clearer when we learned that only the pilots of 9/11 knew it was a suicide mission. Our enemy knows that it’s tough to get even hardcore Muslims to sacrifice their lives for Islam, but they don’t want us to know that. Just as they don’t want us to know that behind their boast that they love death is the fact that they hate life.

And while Muslims who blow themselves up in order to kill non-Muslims are a small minority, Muslims who would explicitly condemn them are an even smaller minority. And while I think that Muslims are mere sheep to their Jihadist wolves, there are also too many Muslim cheerleaders for jihad. How many Muslims celebrated 9/11? Far too many. Even in my own lax Muslim upbringing in America, there was an omnipresent anti-Semitism and misogyny. Some members of my family admired Adolph Hitler, who I refer to as “Islam’s Favorite Infidel.” Regarding misogyny, the birth of a girl became a day of mourning for Muslim women in my family; they understood the suffering this girl would endure under Islam, even in America.

Though we say we’ve been at war for over ten years, we haven’t even begun to fight the war the way we should be fighting it. And those calling for a change within Islam during this war would be surprised at how much Islam can be changed through an honest war on our behalf. You can’t make a violent religion like Islam non-violent by argument, only by greater retaliatory force against state sponsors of jihad terrorism.

The future of Islam and the well-being of Muslims is said to be of importance to us. Post – 9/11, the defense of our culture, our values, our very lives has been optional, but our defense of Islam has been absolute. It began with Bush’s “Islam is peace” and it continues with Obama, who said in his Submission Speech in Egypt in 2009, in front of members of The Muslim Brotherhood, “I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.” If only he felt the same about America.
We can’t be both for Islam and for ourselves. This enemy is fully on their own side and fully against us and they’ve made themselves believe that they’re the good guys and that we’re the bad guys, and our actions have done nothing but turn their hatred of us into an ever-deepening contempt. Before we see the enemy for what it is, we need to see ourselves for what we are. Only then can we, with full moral conviction, make them pay for what they’ve done and move us towards victory.

Our problem is not “Islamophobia”, but Islamophilia. It is this uncritical, uninformed, absolute defense of Islam by Western elites after 9/11 that I refer to as Islamgate. It’s a scandal for the ages that few involved would ever admit to being part of.

I care about the truth. I care about Western Civilization. I care about myself, my loved ones and my friends. I care about Iife. And that’s why I don’t care about Islam.
Our altruistic concern for the future and well being of the Muslim world has come at the expense of American lives and treasure. We’ve placed the well being of “The Muslim World” above our own self-defense. We’ve placed today’s Big Lie, “Islam means peace”, above the truth we need to act on. We’ve placed the lives of Muslim civilians above the lives of our soldiers, placing them in absolutely unnecessary danger in order to protect innocent (or even guilty) civilians. Our Rules of Engagement might as well be renamed the Golden Rules of Engagement, as our soldiers have been forced to treat the enemy the way we’d like to be treated. And the enemy takes full advantage of that, as they do of all of the policies our morally vain politicians have concocted. We need to shift the focus onto our own well-being at the enemy’s expense for a change.
We’ve tried everything since 9/11 except real war. War is the answer to Jihad.

So who cares about Islam? Muslims, Jihadists, Islamophiles, Leftists who naturally side with anti-American ideologies, guilt-ridden fellow travelers who think America is usually in the wrong, and religionists who believe any religion is better than none. But since Leftists and Islamophiles usually know very little about Islam, who truly cares about Islam? Those who are at war with us.

In the end, I care about Islam and the Muslim world as much as the Muslim world cares about America and the West. This is war. We can’t be on both sides. I’m not rooting for Islam or the Muslim world.
I’m rooting for us.

"While we find this law [the Victoria Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001 – otherwise known as ‘Victoria’s Blasphemy law’] abhorrent because it prohibits free speech and advances totalitarianism, we respect that the Rule of Law is a fundamental Australian value'

But true Rule of Law cannot advance totalitarianism.

Therefore, Ms. Janson's statement is a political hedge, nothing more, intended to salve the timid.

Vickie Janson's speech was great and very informative!!!

When I absorb the facts of the Islamic problem in Democratic countries, it strikes me that Muslims are the ones with a goal they strive forward to, many of them in many ways pro-active and very dedicated.

Shamelessly invasive, going to countries with very different laws, values, principles, yet holding to their own, many of whom are contradicting those of their new countries.

And loyalty to those new countries is not much even considered by many Muslims it seems to me. Example; fluent Dutch-speaking Turks were protesting against higher payment for not having to serve in the Turkish army, I believe the amount was about 1000 Euro. But when asked it seemed that they did not consider at all to try to shed their Turkish nationality, which of course was perfectly possible.

And people like JW-ers, counter-jihadists are still now only, mostly reactive, it seems to me. And it seems that populations of these nations are in large part not much interested in the full democratic system to flourish and otherwise engaged in countless interests. And in Democratic Nations people must be allowed to be free, autonomous, un-coerced even to be loyal and supportive of the full Democratic system. They not even need to know what it entails, it seems.

Consequently there are multitudes of inhabitants in Democratic Nations who don't seem to care, who seem very ignorant and not actively or even intellectually on the same side of the emerging movement of counter-jihadists. Or even on the side of the Muslims against the counter-jihadists. For now I call these disinterested, unconcerned, but still very free, people the "neutrals".

And it is my hope that the Muslim invasion will have the effect that many "neutrals" will become pro-active for the full Democratic System, and worldwide too. That it will lead to parties that advocate the forming of the UDN, Unitied Democratic Nations. Which would not happen without this huge Muslim provocation that is under way.

And it is my hope that the dedicated Democratic Citizens will operate in unison and that it will be they who are pro-active and defending what they are FOR.

And that it will be both the Muslims and the Neutrals who will have to be against a dedicated highly organised and united movement; dedicated Democrats. Instead of the situation now, where counter-jihadists of necessity are still in the process of being primarily AGAINST a dedicated highly organised and united movement; that of Islam. in a society that is enormously politically divided and therefore vulnerable and allowing this creeping anti-democratic invasion.

And my hope get's augmented when I read that the birthrates of Muslima's in many Islamic Nations as well as in Democratic Nations has begun to fall dramatically and seems destined to end at a level playing field with other literate and working women around the world.

And more when I read about surging domestic energy production in diverse Democratic Nations, with America, Israel and European countries among them.

It is my hope that under changing circumstances like this the vast majority of Muslims begin to realize that the ultimate goal is totally unreachable and that the situation for Muslims is going in the wrong direction. I think the counter-jihadist, or dedicated Democrats, will surely see to this.

No, I don't think so. I saw what she said as meaning that if we oppose this law, we must do so using methods which are within the law.
It might be that a rowdy revolution will eventually occur, but in the meantime we do have laws in place which, if used along with public awareness of the facts, should be sufficient to deal with this monstrosity of a religion.

John Kelly has it right, “We need men and women with backbone and true grit who will rise up with courage and stand steadfast against this ruthless political system disguised as a religion…”

Sooo, I’d first like to thank Robert (BOBBIE!) and the entire Q Society team in bringing forth and making readily available valuable information and more importantly an open discussion in key Australian cities, that is a necessity for the Australian public to be informed upon let alone literally ‘hear’…

If it weren’t for these guys and many more others that are publicly coming forth internationally, standing up in the fight “TRUTH&FREEDOM”, Australia would be more at a loss than what it is ‘today’. So far, we are still the ‘lucky’ country where political correctness has not fully under-pinned our current democracy but will easily change if we are ‘not aware’ of what is going on at a ground level, locally and internationally.

Vicky Janson’s direct opening statement may well be that political hedge salving the timid as well an obligation by her part on behalf of the QSociety team and their Robert Spencer Australian Tour. It is also pertinent in the cause of TRUTH&FREEDOM that it is done so correctly within the bounds of current Australian (State) Laws.

Sheesh, I don’t want to see her sued for voicing concerns (either individually or professionally) about a worldwide problem honestly and openly discussed rationally and logically. Islam does affect every single one of us and our future generations whether you follow it or not.

Vicky is refreshingly passionate -- what can I do to assist you?!?

Bobbie… thanks again!

Cheers,
Fiona

Thanks for a very informative post and for your attitude!

"Yep. **That** Walid Aly."

Yikes! An olympian in the sport of climbing up the greasy pole towards power and, in my opinion, one of the most dangerous operators for the spread of Islam and Sharia.

My sister heard him talk at a Rotary meeting one evening and - get this! - the women present (who were not Muslim, by the way) threw sweets at him in adoration. My sister scolded them afterwards.
He makes my skin crawl.
