I work and live in Seoul, South Korea where a story such as this gets little coverage and attention, neither in Korean or English language publications. I do have CNN through my local cable TV provider. CNN has been covering the past few days of the trial and I've watched it more or less intently. Ofcourse I have known about the case for some time through sites like JW, BMI, etc. Can any of you who might have also watched CNN's reporting on this horrific case recall any mention of islam or muslims? I just read CNN's online article on the guilty finding of the three family members, ah, monsters, and no mention of islam or muslims there, either. Hmmmm.

There seems to be a possibility that, sentence served, they could be deported.

It goes on from there, with further interesting observations, and a thought-provoking contrast with the very different paradigm that underlies Jewish and Christian thinking about family and society and the state.

I think it might be worthwhile for Canadian jihadwatchers to send copies of Mr Spengler's little article, with their compliments, to Mr Justice Robert Maranger, to the lead prosecutor Mr Gerard Laarhuis, and Staff-Sgt Chris Scott, who headed the investigation. Tell them that much, much more was at stake in this trial than even they have managed to articulate.

What was going on in this court in Canada was a massive clash between two utterly antithetical ways of understanding God, humanity, society and government. The western way, and the Muslim way. Between our law, under which all human beings have a right to life and are equal before the law, and the mindset produced by sharia, according to which women and non-Muslims are mandated to be inferior beings, requiring to be ruled - and punished at will and at whim - by the superior beings, Muslim males.

Within a Muslim political entity - in, say, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia or Iran or Egypt (see Nonie Darwish on honor murder in Egypt, in her book on Sharia, 'Cruel and Usual Punishment') or anywhere else where Islam dominates, - a murder like that of the four Shafia females would not even have been, strictly speaking, regarded as a murder, but as a completely justifiable execution of wrongdoers. There is no way that the murderers - the father, the brother, the second wife - would have suffered any serious punishment either from the Authorities nor from their mosque or from their social circle. It is perfectly probable that it would never even have come to a trial; it would have passed as an 'accident' (nod, wink, nudge) and been covered up, and all memory of the four women would have been erased, as if they had never been.

Judge Robert Maranger said:

“It is difficult to conceive of a more despicable, more heinous crime...the apparent reason behind these cold-blooded, shameful murders was that the four completely innocent victims offended your completely twisted concept of honour ... that has absolutely no place in any civilized society.”...

It includes a truly astonishing story from the non-Muslim female, one Barb Jagger, who shared a cell with the female murderer, Mrs Yahya, and who demonstrates to us just how important it is to impress upon all residents of dar al harb, the fact that MUSLIMS LIE, and that their lying is sanctioned - even prescribed - by their cult, should they deem it necessary to protect themselves and/ or fellow Muslims and/ or the Ummah at large, from any perceived threat.

You can always mention, in your covering letter, that Mr Ibrahim is the son of Coptic refugees from Islamic Egypt, and that he speaks and reads fluent colloquial Arabic, and that he is the author of 'The Al Qaeda Reader', in which he exposed the complete disjunction between what Al Q said in English to the West, and what they said in Arabic to their fellow Muslims.

As fast as we can, we have to try to teach not only our politicians, and our diplomats, and our immigration officers and social security employees and our religious leaders, but also our journalists and media and our law enforcement and judiciary, that ...MUSLIMS LIE, almost as continuously and naturally as breathing. They lie to harm us dirty kuffar; they lie to protect the Ummah, or Mohammedan mob, and to advance its power vis a vis the Infidels; they lie to protect the belief-system, or cult, of Islam from sustained and critical scrutiny.
